You may have run into a small issue with the Writing Training Ground this week, namely the submitter not accepting submissions. Blame Derpy. She does this here on EQD sometimes.
Because of this, we are extending the deadline to April 26, 11:59 PM PDT, with the post going up on Sunday or Monday. Hopefully everyone that tried sending one in catches this or the update!

I don't think I'll ever be caught up with all the amazing artists there are out there. At least it keeps me busy and these spotlights lively! We've got some traditional and digital artists for this week and a variety of styles so make sure to check them all out after the break!
As usual, these posts are in similar style to the Tumblr Spotlights, a group of 3-4 artists will be spotlit each entry along with a small short description along with a small selection of their artwork! In order to make this feature work though we need people to suggest artists to us so make sure to send artists you think need some exposure to [email protected]. Please also include a short biography I can work with as well as what medium you work in most.
What sort of artists count? Suggestions should follow these criteria:
- No clop or extensive gore galleries as those typically violate our content guidelines. If the artist has a safe for work gallery separate from their not safe for work stuff they or their fans can submit the safe for work gallery. If there is a mix of SFW/NSFW on a gallery the decision whether or not to include them will be judged on a gallery to gallery basis.
- Don't be afraid to spotlight yourself as well as others!
- Artists of all types accepted -vector, OC, traditional, digital. As long as it is pony and of quality it has a chance of being spotlit.

There is no doubt about it, we love our colorful cartoon equines. With said love comes many an open wallet as we throw money at ideas that we actually like within the merchandise sector pony. As we noted the other day, the girls side of Hasbro is climbing rapidly while others seem to either be dropping or very slowly increasing.
Are we to blame for this? Is the brony phenomenon Hasbro's big trump card as children everywhere move to tablets and video games instead of Barbie Dolls and Hot Wheels? I know I've poured way too much money Funko figures and 4de plushies. How big of an impact are we, as a fandom, having? Head on over to The Washington Post for their take on the situation!

I've always had a love hate relationship with these three. One one hand, they take up a mane 6 pony episode, and I love me some mane 6. On the other hand, they surprise me every once in a while and make up for it.
Lets assume for a minute that they finally get their butt symbols at the end of the season. After all the adventures and trouble they have gotten into, I think they have been characterized enough for you all to guess their marks. So, what would they be? Hit those comments up with your thoughts!

It looks like the company hosting the digital downloads for the Brony Documentary is shutting it's doors in a week from now. A mass email sent out to purchasers reads as follows:
