Nightly Roundup #919
by Calpain
Wow, you guys certainly went nuts in the comments last night! Good show! That's what the Roundups are for after all: rounding up news and idle chatter. Just make sure it doesn't spill into other posts, ok?
Now, on to the really short news tonight!

Wired has released an overall positive article on the pony phenomenon, from the same author that posted that Brony article from way back in the early days. It covers everything from Pathfinder groups to the MANLIEST BRONY. Head on over here to check it out!
Thanks to Gail for the heads up! -

The Micheal Monroes foundation has something awesome coming up over at NYU. Sir Ian McKellen (the guy behind Gandalf, Magneto, ect) will be joining in an event called "Broadway Battles Bullying" on the 14th of April. Tickets go on sale over here later in the week. The actual address for the event is as follows:
NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts
566 LaGuardia Place, New York, N.Y.
Yes, we have actually reached that far with this. Good work everyone.
Thanks to Cocoa and Boulder Bash for the heads up. -
We Love Fine plans on showing off their big reveal tomorrow at 12:00 PM PST. So far all we have is cryptic messages and the new image above with that Equestrian flag. One thing is for sure, it definitely not a shirt.
And if you are interested in getting a bit of savings on it, they are running a promo for shares and comments. If it happens to hit 1000 of either, they will drop the price by 10%. Head on over here to do that!

Wow, this looks amazing. Professional game quality even. I haven't played Rayman since the old days of 2d platformer domination, but I think it might be time to give it a shot. Head on down below the break to check out the trailer, and find the tumblr or the project over here!
Thanks to Masem and chaosmalefic for the heads up!

The music scene sure has changed over the years. Some of my favorite musicians have seemingly disappeared. You usually expect them to return when a new season starts, but no such thing happened for some of them! Horrible news. That first song is dedicated to the old MIA crowd. If you were around back then, you will get it a lot more than if you are newer.
And in the other two slots, we have PARODIES! Forest Rain dominates the first one with a complete remaster of a song he did two years ago. At least he's still around! I feel better now. And in the 3rd slot, Dustykatt, Nowacking, and EileMonty drop yet another. All below!
1.) Freewave + Friends - Already Gone (Vocal - Folk)
2.) Join The Herd [ReMaster] - Forest Rain (Vocal - Parody)
3.) Equestrian Radio, featuring Nowacking and Eilemonty (Vocal - Parody)

I wondered how long it would take for Discord to interact with the chimera from the episode! Wonder if they are distant relatives or something?

Stay Brony My Friends Charity with Peter New
by Calpain
Everyone's favorite red stallion was recently on Stay Brony My Friends and, as usual with the show, has nominated a charity for you folks to possibly donate to! Peter New has volunteered Brony Granny, a community member and awesome lady all around, for this episode's charity target. After suffering from a heart attack last week it looks like she can use the help!
For those who participate, there is a chance at some awesome items being given away once again this time around so check on after the break for all the details on what you can win, more on who Brony Granny is, as well as where to donate if you are able!
