Flim and Flam may have lost horribly in that poll earlier, but that doesn't mean I didn't have their song stuck in my head for a month after it aired!
We have a boatload of art today. I say boatload a lot don't I? Get it all below.

A bit of minor news coming in for a subslot. Derpy Hooves has been added to the new "Octodad: Dadliest Catch" game as an Easter egg. It looks like someone on the team was a pony fan. Now I just need to find time to play it after all those steam sales.
Thanks to Celestial Wolf for the image and everyone else for the heads up! -
Art in whatever form it takes is an expression of the self, demonstrated by not only the subject matter of the piece in question but the technique, style, and form the piece takes. Able to open up unlimited possibilities and perspectives, art lets us expand our minds and explore realms we would never have thought of alone. So, once again, let's delve into some artwork by artists you might not have heard of before and explore some new worlds together, eh?
As usual, these posts are in similar style to the Tumblr Spotlights, a group of 3-4 artists will be spotlit each entry along with a small short description along with a small selection of their artwork! In order to make this feature work though we need people to suggest artists to us so make sure to send artists you think need some exposure to calpain@equestriadaily.com. Please also include a short biography I can work with as well as what medium you work in most.
What sort of artists count? Suggestions should follow these criteria:
- No clop or extensive gore galleries as those typically violate our content guidelines. If the artist has a safe for work gallery separate from their not safe for work stuff they or their fans can submit the safe for work gallery. If there is a mix of SFW/NSFW on a gallery the decision whether or not to include them will be judged on a gallery to gallery basis.
- Don't be afraid to spotlight yourself as well as others!
- Artists of all types accepted -vector, OC, traditional, digital. As long as it is pony and of quality it has a chance of being spotlit.

Brazilian Toy Website Posts Customizable Sugar Cube Corner Pop Set, Castle Restaurant Set, and Tons of Rainbow Rocks Stuff
by Sethisto
For all the news that was unleashed from Toy Fair, the actual physical pictures were a bit on the light side. A Brazilian toy website called Hobbybringquedos has a whole bunch of listings up. All of the descriptions are in Portugese though, so expect some "what?".
Up above is the interesting one. Sugar Cube Corner is somewhat customizable, with "pop in" style pieces that you can mix and match to your liking (assuming they fit). The actual Pinkie Pie figure also comes separately.
On top of that, a Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle and various accessories are also available for it, though separately if the site is any indication.
Anyway, there is a ton of it. Get it all below the break including all the Rainbow Rocks stuff! Thanks to everyone including Shannon, "Rainbow Dash" (I bet you guys are jelly that I get to talk to her in submit), Kryptonlogic, and everyone else that fired these off to us in various pieces and parts!

Molded manes? Check! Different Sizes? Check! It looks like you people over in Europe have something to be excited about if Build-A-Bear isn't your style. A spanish company called Famosa has this new product line in progress, starting with all six of the mane cast. These guys are more will be available some time this year.
Thanks to Pilax, James, and everyone else for sending it! Full article over here. -
New MLP Books on the Way - Daring Do Adventure Collection, and "Journal of the Two Sisters"
by Sethisto
Entertainment Weekly has posted up eight exclusive images for an upcoming "Daring Do Adventure" collection. Three original novels will be included dedicated to the one and only Daring Do. The collection also includes a golden idol mini figure.
On top of this, a few other books are joining her, including an actual journal of the two sisters:
My Little Pony: The Journal of the Two Sisters: The Official Chronicles of Celestia and Luna
A re-creation of the diary Equestria's princesses kept when they were younger, as first seen in season 4's ''Castle Mane-ia.'' Bonus: The book contains a ''Journal of Friendship'' that features diary entries by the show's Mane 6 characters, as well as blank pages waiting to be filled in by fans.
Yeah, we totally get to read about Filly Celestia and Luna trolling each other in Castle Midnight. That is going to be amazing.
Head on over here for the full gallery to check them out. Expect a release of October 7th. Thanks to everyone for sending it! -
Those who prefer the name DJ P0N-3 or Vinyl Scratch for the fan favorite pony DJ can rest easy now. The rumor that Adagio Dazzle could be the new name for DJ P0N3/Vinyl Scratch has been debunked by Meghan on her twitter.
Thanks to everyone that sent it in! -
These guys were spotted buried within Build-A-Bear's main website. It looks like not only is Rarity on the way, but Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle as well. Release dates aren't listed as of the time of this post going up, but you can probably bet on seeing these soon.
Thanks to Jennifer for the heads up!
