THE YEAR IS 2025
After a successful decade and a half of Friendship is Magic, the team over at Hasbro has decided to once again unleash a new generation of My Little Pony on the masses. Flash has long since been eclipsed by much more advanced technology in the art field, and with cartoons flipping over to all sorts of wild styles because of it, it's time to move on.
New tech allows for just about anything while keeping the budget realistic. What was once considered far too costly to produce, is now well within the realm of possibility. Want full 3D Pixar level animation? Done! Oldschool Disney movie painterly backgrounds? Easy!
The hypothetical Hasbro big wigs in 2025 aren't completely oblivious to the brony fandom's long existence of creating stupid amounts of art though, and so they are turning to the community for ideas. We have had some amazing artists over the years, and some of their styles just might be what the world of G5 is looking for.
So, good citizens of our 2025 new pony release, which artist from the fandom would you grab to do the art on Generation 5?
