Seattle Bronies visit Pine Mountain Observatory
On September 20th, a group of Seattle Bronies drove over 350 miles to the Pine Mountain Observatory in central Oregon for one of the last dark nights of public stargazing during the observatory's 2014 season. Observatory volunteers told us we had managed to pick the best night for viewing of the whole year, and we saw many galaxies, nebulae, globular and open clusters, dozens of shooting stars and other phenomena. Twilight Sparkle would be proud!
