I wish I could get as motivated as the artists who make these amazing pieces then maybe I'd actually get these done at a quicker pace. At any rate, welcome to another edition of the Artist Spotlight where we highlight some of the lesser known artists in the fandom.
As usual, these posts are in similar style to the Tumblr Spotlights, a group of 3-5 artists will be spotlit each entry along with a small short description along with a small selection of their artwork! In order to make this feature work though we need people to suggest artists to us so make sure to send artists you think need some exposure to calpain@equestriadaily.com. Please also include a short biography I can work with as well as what medium you work in most.
What sort of artists count? Suggestions should follow these criteria:
- No clop or extensive gore galleries as those typically violate our content guidelines. If the artist has a safe for work gallery separate from their not safe for work stuff they or their fans can submit the safe for work gallery. If there is a mix of SFW/NSFW on a gallery the decision whether or not to include them will be judged on a gallery to gallery basis.
- Don't be afraid to spotlight yourself as well as others!
- Artists of all types accepted -vector, OC, traditional, digital. As long as it is pony and of quality it has a chance of being spotlit.

Our first artist today is one I would place with our epic style artists like RainGear, AssasinMonkey, and many others! Highly detailed with a digital style that looks a lot like oil based paintings, Peasantb is able to suck in the viewer with beautiful backgrounds and expressive characters. Have a look!

On the opposite side of the digital spectrum we have the work of FireBrandKun who delves into the realm of the cute and cartoony. With a good mix of cute and funny he brings his characters to life through highly expressive means that are sure to make your heart warm and your face smile. Check out some of his work below!

Pixel-Prism
Next up is an artist some of you may already recognize thanks to them supplying the artwork for the Twilight's Secret Ship Fic Folder game! And for good reason too as Pixel is another artist that excels in expressions that are backed up with a soft and visually pleasing style that leaves you wanting for me. What's nice about Pixel that they are so talented at different styles that she is able to just as easily design silly and cute card game art to warm and touching pics that look great on a shirt. Take a look at what I mean below!

Estories
Last up is someone a bit different! While most of our artwork comes from digital artists quite a bit is produced by members of the vector art community. One such artist team is the team behind Estories! Composed of a couple team, they endeavor to create a bunch of custom vectors for use in single pictures as well as several of their comic series on their dA page.
