Hello ponies and pony-lovers,
If you’ve watched our Indiegogo campaign page or social media channels recently, you have probably seen that we have reached our goal by a significant amount. Our goal was €3000. You guys brought us to that goal and lifted us up to €4578 afterward. Even though we started off with a slow start, the boost over the past two weeks more than made up for that. For that, we thank each of you. Without your support, this would have meant the end of our preparations for Hearth’s Warming Con. Instead, we can continue and give you what you want: a brony convention in the Netherlands.
With the end of the Indiegogo, there will be some minor changes to the ticket purchasing procedure. Firstly, the early bird discount will be removed from the basic ticket types. Secondly, since we are no longer restricted to Paypal, we will offer payment through direct transfer. Paypal will remain available, but their handling fee will be the buyer’s responsibility.
The last important change is that we will add a cap to the total amount of attendees at Hearth’s Warming Eve. We understand that this will come as a surprise to most of you, but with our plans for the venue, we feel that it is preferable to limit the amount of people there. In practice, this means that once we run out of space for Hearth’s Warming Eve, those components of the tickets will no longer be available. You will still be able to purchase a sponsor ticket and get the goodies, but it will not include entrance to Hearth’s Warming Eve. At the time of writing this post, there are still 21 tickets available.
We are working out the kinks in this new payment system, and we expect to have it live in a few weeks. Don’t worry, we’ll notify you in advance when they will be available again.
If you have already purchased a ticket, or otherwise sponsored us through Indiegogo, you will of course not be affected by these changes. For now, you don’t have to do anything. At a later stage, we will send you a form where you can select which name, if any, you want us to put in the convention booklet, as well as your size for the hoodie if you are entitled to one.
