Elements of Melody: Summer Moon Celebration
The wait is over! The third installment of Elements of Melody has arrived. Come enjoy a night of fun and music with your favorite pony artists on Friday, June 13 at The Vera Project. Proceeds benefit Everfree Northwest 2014.
Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Doors open at 7:30PM, show starts at 8PM.

Everfree Northwest 2014 PMV and Pony Video Contest
Returning for the third year in a row, it’s the Everfree Northwest PMV and Pony Video Contest!
Do you create or are interested in making PMVs or Pony Videos? Want to be featured at the Everfree Northwest convention? Do you want to win fabulous prizes? Then join us for the EFNW PMV Contest! Help us show just how amazing PMV and Pony Video creators are!
Categories:
Pony Music Video (PMV) - This is your traditional PMV, dubbing music over ponies. Make it as simple or complex as you want!
Pony Video - Use non-music audio, like a clip from a TV show, movie trailer, YouTube video, and so on. You can even use a personal recording!
How to enter:
Fill out our EFNW PMV Contest Entry forum on the Everfree Northwest website at everfreenw.com/pmvcontest in order to enter.
Contest Duration:
PMVs and Pony Videos released on or after April 15th are eligible to enter the contest. Submissions shall be accepted until June 27th at 11:59 pm PDT. Submissions will no longer be accepted after that date.
Prizes:
There will be three (3) winners per category for a total of six (6) winners. Currently specific prizes are still being determined, however we can announce that both first place winners in each category will receive a commission piece from Dana Simpson, creator of the comics Heavenly Nostrils and Ozy and Millie. We should have prizes finalized within the next couple of weeks.
Video Duration:
Pony Music Video (PMV) - Between one (1) and six (6) minutes
Pony Video - Between 45 seconds and six (6) minutes
Contest Rules:
1) All entries must adhere to a PG rating. Submissions using elements that could reasonably be considered above a PG rating, including but not limited to adult activity, intense violence, drug use, or material that violates the rights of a third party, will be ineligible for the contest. If you are unsure if your PMV or Pony Video meets these guidelines and wish to ask, please contact us at contest@everfreenw.com
2) Videos should be submitted either via a file sharing website such as mediafire, google drive, and so forth or as a YouTube link.
3) Submissions must be sent via the EFNW PMV Contest Entry forum on the Everfree Northwest website at everfreenw.com/pmvcontest.
4) Submissions will be accepted until June 27th at 11:59 PDT. Videos released on or after April 15th are eligible to enter the contest.
5) Submissions may be a combination of show footage, animation, music, audio sources, voiceover, and so forth, but PMV entries must be comprised of mostly music and Pony Videos must be comprised of mostly non-musical audio.
6) A maximum of two (2) PMVs or Pony Videos will be accepted per individual or group
7) Any interpretation and application of rules from Everfree Northwest’s panel of judges and its ruling on contest winners are final.
8) Winners shall be determined based on creativity and originality, editing, audio, video quality, and overall appeal.
9) You do not need to be present at Everfree Northwest in order to win. If you are not present to claim your prize, your prize will be shipped to you. Everfree Northwest will cover shipping of contest prizes within the United States, Canada, and Mexico. International shipping will not be covered, but international contestants may still enter and be considered for prizes.
10) By entering the creator agrees to allow Everfree Northwest to share the creator’s PMV and/or Pony Videos on our website, social media, in our conbook, and/or for use in promotions.
