Hey there everyone! It's time for another artist spotlight of some of the pony artists out there that help keep our fandom running. Check them all out after the break and take in some pony culture.
As usual, these posts are in similar style to the Tumblr Spotlights, a group of 3-4 artists will be spotlit each entry along with a small short description along with a small selection of their artwork! In order to make this feature work though we need people to suggest artists to us so make sure to send artists you think need some exposure to calpain@equestriadaily.com. Please also include a short biography I can work with as well as what medium you work in most.
What sort of artists count? Suggestions should follow these criteria:
- No clop or extensive gore galleries as those typically violate our content guidelines. If the artist has a safe for work gallery separate from their not safe for work stuff they or their fans can submit the safe for work gallery. If there is a mix of SFW/NSFW on a gallery the decision whether or not to include them will be judged on a gallery to gallery basis.
- Don't be afraid to spotlight yourself as well as others!
- Artists of all types accepted -vector, OC, traditional, digital. As long as it is pony and of quality it has a chance of being spotlit.

CyanAeolinFirst on our plate today is an artist that stuns with dynamic lighting and intense backgrounds all while combining them with ponies in interesting crossovers and situations. There's certainly something about bright colors that when used well just grab your attention when looking through a gallery and when mixing that with ponies in a variety of situations makes for one exciting artist to follow! Check out some of Cyan's work below!

Yanoda
As I have mentioned before, vector artists serve an integral part in our community! Whether it be providing clean and clear cutie marks for other artists to use in their work, vectoring sketches for folks or making their own artwork that looks just like something from the show. Yanoda does all of the above, with their own original work being cute and fun. Take a look!

BrianBlackberry
On the more traditional digital front today we have the work of BrianBlackberry! More than proficient with his ponies, his backgrounds are also quite highly detailed as well. Not only is he great at pony art in general, he is a great map drawer as well as you can see in the example below. Check him out!

Viwrastupr
Digital painting when done right can yield some incredibly impressive pieces of work, almost indistinguishable from traditional and at times combines the best the two mediums have to offer. Viwrastupr demonstrates that ability through some amazing pieces of work you can find below! But Viw isn't just great at digital painting, but great regular digital art as well. Certainly an artist to checkout if you like a more traditional feel in your digital art.

Rulsis
Last up tonight is someone I'm proud to finally include here in the artist spotlight! Rulsis approached me almost a year ago for inclusion into the spotlight, but I didn't think he was quite ready yet. After watching him continue his work and do several Livestream Saturday events since then he has improved immensely and I am happy to include him today! He's a perfect example that if you just keep working and be persistent you can succeed!
Check out some of his latest digital work below.
