Now this is a project that has been long in the making! A Brony Tale, headed by Brent Hodge for Ashleigh Ball, has been in production since before Canterlot Gardens in 2012 and now it appears to have a distributor and will be debuting at the Tribeca Film Festival! People interviewed include, Saberspark, DustyKat, Silva Hound, Phoe (yay Phoe!) and Ashleigh Ball of course along with many other bronies. It's looking like an amazing documentary and I hope it does well at the festival.
Check after the break for full information as well as links to many sneak peeks.
Thanks to Ian for sending in all this info!
Musician/voice actress Ashleigh Ball, Saberspark, DustyKat, Silva Hound, and many other bronies star in "A Brony Tale", an upcoming, self-funded documentary film from director Brent Hodge (director of The Cockumentary, and winner of a Canadian Screen Award).
The film follows Ashleigh Ball's journey to BronyCon 2012 in New York City, as well as the lives of other bronies. The film also covers Ball's musician career with her band "Hey Ocean", and her voice acting career. The film was entirely self-funded by Hodge, and is finishing up editing to be ready for the Tribeca Film Festival in April.
Note: This film was originally titled "Brony", and has since gone through a name change. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ A_Brony_Tale
