Now that I have more free time I'm going to try my best to make these weekly so I can finally get through the huge backlog I have! With that said, welcome to another week of artists from the fandom that you may not have heard of but deserve a little time in the spotlight.
As usual, these posts are in similar style to the Tumblr Spotlights, a group of 3-4 artists will be spotlit each entry along with a small short description along with a small selection of their artwork! In order to make this feature work though we need people to suggest artists to us so make sure to send artists you think need some exposure to calpain@equestriadaily.com. Please also include a short biography I can work with as well as what medium you work in most.
What sort of artists count? Suggestions should follow these criteria:
- No clop or extensive gore galleries as those typically violate our content guidelines. If the artist has a safe for work gallery separate from their not safe for work stuff they or their fans can submit the safe for work gallery. If there is a mix of SFW/NSFW on a gallery the decision whether or not to include them will be judged on a gallery to gallery basis.
- Don't be afraid to spotlight yourself as well as others!
- Artists of all types accepted -vector, OC, traditional, digital. As long as it is pony and of quality it has a chance of being spotlit.

Nobody47
Cuteness and kindness makes up one of the main pillars of the fandom, providing us with enough material to kill most people several times over from adorable overdoses. Nobody47 (appropriate name, huh?) takes the adorable nature of ponies and cranks it up to 11 with heartwarming digital pieces that could melt even the hardest of hearts. Check out some examples!

FluttershytheKind
Cute comes in all different styles in our fandom and is hardly confined just to the realm of show style! Sometimes more exaggerated ponies can be just as cute or cuter than the ponies we know and love. FluttershyKind utilizes cute and charming scenes combined with a rich color palette to pull off some really adorable work. With ponies ranging from traditional, to exaggerated, to chibi you're sure to find something to smile at.

Demdoodles
Humanized ponies can be quite a contentious field especially after EqG came out, but works depicting our ponies as people have been around as long as the fandom and appears to be getting quite popular as a subset of the fandom. Demdoodles is one of those humanized pony artists that lends their own vision to this ever growing field! See for yourself!

Miokomata
At times we have artists that primarily focus on their favorite pony. While some may find this limiting it allows an artist to get a firm understanding of the character and really let them shine in as their work ever evolves. Miokomata focuses primarily on Fluttershy artwork, but he does a fantastic job capturing the essence of Fluttershy in his pieces and when combined with wonderful background work you get some truly beautiful pieces.

Matsuban
As I have for quite a few spotlights now, I try to end these posts with a look into the traditional realm. Without the ability to undo things instantly like digital artists do it amazes me how clean and beautiful a lot of their art comes out. Matsuban not only does a wonderful job with colored pencil but is quite creative when it comes to costumes for the ponies to wear, filling her gallery with enough cloths to make Rarity proud!
