I love alternate mane styles on the ponies, adds a bunch of character to our already lovely ponies in my opinion.

Ponibooru Film Night

Hello. Poster artist DaisyHead here. It's a brand new year and Ponibooru Film Night
Returns with more movies of dubious quality. We christen the new year with the
movie Razor Sharpe. A film about struggling actor, Justin Sharpe, trying to find a niche in the
action genre of films. After being considered a threat to another actors spot in the film, Sharpe
is fired and loses his chance to be in an action film. After being told by his girlfriend to not give
up and find another spot in a movie. He finds a spot in a movie that turns out to be a
robbery and hit in disguise. Not knowing this, he is attacked by the mafia and has to out who
set him up while taking on the mafia. This movie actually feels like The Room as an action flick.
I cannot for the life of me figure out what accent the mafia crimelords accent is. It's like a french,
english and gay accent all fighting for superiority.

Equestria Girls Premieres in Russia This Weekend

EqG continues to spread according to a recent email we received:

The movie's airing on Karusel' kids network this Sunday at 12:20 (Moscow time GMT+4). Despite early rumours, the premiere didn't end up preceding S3 which finished airing right before New Year.

Gotta say the trailer is a bit odd, citing part of the apparent cafeteria song translation as a simple read-over whereas all pony songs in the show are normally dubbed. Maybe it's just temporary, though.

Brony Exhibit at the Bahamut Gaming Convention

Late last month on December 21, Taiwan gaming website Bahamut held its annual gaming show to celebrate its 17th anniversary. And for the second year in a row, the Taiwan Bronies have organized a special exhibit to display the Magic of Friendship and the power of ponies to the gamers of Taiwan.

This year's exhibit highlights include two scrolls based off of Jiayi's epic Friendship is Magic artworks, televisions showing off pony videos, pony plushies and figurines on display, and a poster showing off the various events organized by the Taiwan Bronies. We even had Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash flying above the convention grounds.

The goal of the exhibit is to not only show the people of Taiwan that My Little Pony is a show enjoyed by all, but also to share the creative works and the charity efforts of the Brony community. On display were several fanmade pony items as well as autographs received from Andrea Libman for contributions to her Ride to Conquer Cancer charity bicycle ride.

We hope that through our exhibit, we can not only embolden ourselves as an organization, but also show the world that My Little Pony is not only children's show, but a cultural phenomenon whose fans are striving to leave a positive mark on the world around us. And our efforts were rewarded when our exhibit won the award for Best Decoration.

My Little Pony CCG "Win-a-Box" Tournament at Past Present Future Comics

Past Present Future Comics in Lauderhill will be hosting a "Win-a-Box" Tournament for the My Little Pony Collectible Card Game on January 4th starting at 1pm.

Sign ups for the tournament will start at 1pm and the cutoff will be at 2:30pm! If you are not at Past Present Future when the tournament starts, you will NOT be eligible to compete for the prizes. If you are running late, please call the store at 954-742-0777 The store's entry limit is 50 people.

The entry is FREE for the tournament. Each participant will receive a slice of pizza and a drink for free when they sign up. There will also be free raffles for My Little Pony Duel Mats, Sleeves, and Deck Boxes throughout the event.

Each Round will consist of a 45 Minute Match (One game per Round)

The Top 4 will receive packs from a Booster Box! (This will likely change to a Top 8 format IF enough people attend.)

PonyMC Equestria Recruitment Ad

RP Forum Looking for Friends

I represent BronyBase, a pony roleplaying forum that has been running for over two years now. At our peak, we had over one-hundred members, and about a quarter of those participated regularly in our many roleplaying threads.

Unfortunately, as people grow and their lives change, they move on from places, and this has had a large effect on the forum as a whole. We now have just under thirty active members and only a handful of them now roleplay on the forum. This has led to a few boards being closed, including the once highly-successful 'Fallout: Equestria' RP that a member ran for over a year.

As all of you may already be aware, SacAnime is right around the corner! A time where everyone from all sides of the nerd spectrum gather together for the festivities! Alas, there is a problem.

There isn't a scheduled Brony meet up.

Don't panic. We gotcha covered. ;D

The My Little Pony and Interests Club from Sac State will be setting up a gathering spot at the con on Saturday at noon in front of the Upper Crust Pizza restaurant that's right across the convention center. We'll hang out there for an hour or so, eat some pizza, and maybe migrate over to Old Sacramento! Make sure to spread the word, you guys!
