A lot of people back during her debut in season 2 thought Rainbow Dash and Daring Do were one and the same. She even shares the exact same recolored character model, as well as a broken wing. It was sort of "implied" that Dash was the one going on these adventures via the book. So which rendition of the character do you prefer? Is the new idea of a separate character better than the concept of Rainbow inserting herself into the Daring Do adventures?

It's been awhile folks, but welcome once again to another artist spotlight! Now that the new season is underway, what sort of new artists will appear from the shadows to blow us away with their art? Well, hopefully we can introduce you to some tonight so check on after the break for some artists you might not have heard of!
As usual, these posts are in similar style to the Tumblr Spotlights, a group of 3-4 artists will be spotlit each entry along with a small short description along with a small selection of their artwork! In order to make this feature work though we need people to suggest artists to us so make sure to send artists you think need some exposure to calpain@equestriadaily.com. Please also include a short biography I can work with as well as what medium you work in most.
What sort of artists count? Suggestions should follow these criteria:
- No clop or extensive gore galleries as those typically violate our content guidelines. If the artist has a safe for work gallery separate from their not safe for work stuff they or their fans can submit the safe for work gallery. If there is a mix of SFW/NSFW on a gallery the decision whether or not to include them will be judged on a gallery to gallery basis.
- Don't be afraid to spotlight yourself as well as others!
- Artists of all types accepted -vector, OC, traditional, digital. As long as it is pony and of quality it has a chance of being spotlit.

As many of you are probably already aware of at this point, Build a Bear has a plushie line that continues to pump out toys every few months. Their most recent addition being the Fluttershy you see up above. Since these ended up second in the poll we posted a few days ago, I figured we'd review them!

Everyone else makes super fancy banners in photoshop for these this year, but I have ragequit three times in the last two weeks trying to make holiday banners that work with our parallax header, so I've given up on that program for the time being. Have cute Dash instead.
I've honestly been waiting for another Daring Do episode since season two! If we don't get any of a certain other blue pony I tend to obsess over, I'll still be happy.
(I'll be even happier if we do get some GREAT AND POWERFULNESS though. Make it happen DHX! Just toss her in the background or something!)

Another open server weekend is off on the horizon for Legends of Equestria. It's a bit off in the distance, but I know a bunch of you are excited to dive back into the pony MMO after the last time it opened.

With the pre-releases dropping all over the USA and Canada yesterday, I'm sure a boatload of you now have decks and cards to play with. With said releases came an official guide sent out for reference, spanning five pages with everything from diagrams to the board itself.
