Nightly Roundup #804
by Calpain
I don't think the Cakes have had a banner before and if they have it hasn't been for quite a long time. Such an incredibly loving and caring couple I must say!
On to the news guys, after the break!

We had seen the baby pony model once before in Mysterious Mare Do Well, and reactions to it were mixed. Some thought the beady eyes were creepy (myself included), and others thought that were beyond adorable. The overlords of pony decided we needed an entire episode dedicated to them!
What do you get when you cross Pinkie Pie's over the top squeaky voice with crying babies? Ouch. Yes ouch. The episode as a whole was pretty good, but I had to turn my speakers down to get through it. I wasn't even phased during Too Many Pinkie Pies, but this was just too much!
It redeemed itself once the references set in though. The whole horror movie vibe was done surprisingly well. If I was 10, I would have been scared. In the end though, it just further fortified my baby ponies = creepy.
(For the record, I think real human babies are creepy too. They are like little throwupy aliens! So gross!)
What were your initial reactions? Hit the comments up!

Way back in July, a bunch of folks from IDW came to San Diego Comic-Con to announce a bunch of cool upcoming releases for a bunch of their Hasbro-related franchises. I feel kind of bad about that: 90% of the room sat up in their seats the moment they started discussing ponies. We really need to get out more.Anyway, one of the more intriguing tidbits from that panel was the coming of these things called "Micro Fun Packs", which would feature pocket-sized editions of the micro-series comics. I think that name's pretty clever, too. We now know they are expected to hit store shelves on November 15, so in the meantime we're going to open some up in front of you because this showed up on my doorstep yesterday.
Neener neener.
Come check out "Why They're Never Letting Go Of Your Wallet" after the break.

Livestream Saturdays and Drawfriend
by CalpainGoodness, fall weather just seemed to come right out of nowhere with all the rain and freezing temps we've been getting here in Ohio. If anything it's a nice time to snuggle up in a blanket with some snacks and watch some livestreams! Check out who we have running today after the break, unfortunately there aren't too many today for some reason

In some ways I hate this event. So many amazing places I want to check out. My bucket list gains 30 or so every time we do one of these. Who wants to start up a get rich quick scheme with me? Run it for a few years then travel the world! Lets do it!
Or something.
Anyway, have day two of Ponies Around the world, with the 100 more images that entails.

I think I listened that that song at least 300 times over the course of my childhood. It was pretty much on the radio 24/7 during this time of year. Now we finally have a pony version. MONSTER MASH TIME.
And in slot number two, we have another one from the ever talented Eurobeat Brony. A True True friend hasn't gotten this style of musical treatment yet, so hopefully you Eurobeat fans will find something to enjoy there.
Everything below!
1.) The Pony Mash
2.) Super Ponybeat - A True True Friend (Euro Bliss Mix) ft. Odyssey

The community has always been one to rise to the occasion when someone needs help. We've done everything from helping children in Africa through fundraising efforts to giving Kiki, a sweet little girl, some extra time on this planet. Now it appears cancer has reared its ugly head once again in the lives of someone who works closely with MLP.
Julia Stoepel, the German voice of Fluttershy, is looking for help on a fundraiser for a friend of hers that is suffering from cancer. A donation drive has been started and is currently at a quarter of its goal. If you have a spare couple dollars or euros in your next check, why not send a few her way. We did it for Kiki, so let's do it for this lady as well.
