I'm skipping the corny speech this time around. It's time to DANCE. Head on down below the break and DANCE AWAY. Congratulations everyone! Things slowed down with no episodes for over half a year, but the pony train NEVER STOPS!
(And you might want to avoid this with a slower computer)
And use this to go along with it.
And new banner from Drawponies!

After three episodes of mane cast relationship building, Friendship is Magic moved into the single target pony world. This was around the time I was officially hooked, sitting around each week watching the clock and waiting for more pony to fill the addiction with.
Applebuck Season was a good example of what future slapstick humor style episodes would be composed of, thanks to some good old fashioned faceflop. A lot of people in the early fandom were watchers of stuff like Looney Tunes and Animaniacs, and seeing that return, albeit briefly, was a nostalgia bomb.
We also learned how ridiculously overpowered Twilight Sparkle is.
"Oh, you wanted me to do what would have taken you 3 hours in 3 seconds? You should have just asked!"

I do love me some Anthropology. Yoka the Changeling has created probably one of the jazziest songs this year. And in the second slot, Orchestral Design returns with another excellent score dedicated to Equestrian life overall. Get them both below!
1.) AwkwardMarina - Anthropology (Lyra's Song) remix by Yoka the Changeling
2.) A day in Equestria

I'm in the Sapphire Shores mood today. It's too bad this image is so vertical. EQD isn't really set up for those as header images!
Onward to art.

For those of you following the news these last few days, you probably already know about Chilis attempt at posting ponies on Twitter. It didn't turn out too well for them! Luckily we have an event coming up that will give us a chance to really ponify the food chain. Chilis is donating 100% of their profits from the 23rd of September directly to St. Jude, the children's research hospital. A few meetup organizers/members have requested that we throw up a call to arms and get them as big an audience for the event as possible.
So what can you do to help out? Easy! Get some friends, or gather your area meetup group, and hit up a nearby Chilis on the 23rd! If you need help finding your nearby group, we still have a massive meetup map with just about all of them.
Suggested:
- Wear a pony shirt
- Don't be obnoxious
- Don't go during lunch/dinner, try to find an off time or expect a huge wait
Good luck! -
As is the norm for Toywiz, a day after the "rumor" of mini figures went up, they already have the set available on their website for preorder. Each box is a completely random pony for six bucks, but they include a coupon code for 10% off at "MMPONY!". (And as the other post stated, expect to see them in October.)
And in other news, if 25 was too much for the 4dE plushies, you can get those for 10% off with the same code over here.
Thanks to everyone that sent it in! -
It's Saturday! Time for another one of these!
As many of you that pay attention to the blog regularly have probably already noticed, I've started doing comic followups similar to our episode followups that we run when pony is in season. If you haven't read the Big Mac arc yet, go do that first, as this entire post is spoilers. Our followups are not reviews, they simply point out the things you may have missed.
Onward below the break to ridiculously slice of life Big Macyness. And if you want to check out the followup for the first one, hit that up here!

Way back a year ago, Yudhaikeledai released a bunch of mini-animations parodying starcraft unit portraits. Fast forward to now, and he has greatly expanded the Rainbow Dash one, including new lines from a voice actress, as well as upgraded animation all around. Head on down below the break to check it out!
