  • Story: The Wrong Place at the Right Time

    [Adventure]

    Author: Little Jackie Papercut
Description: Twilight Sparkle, becoming anxious at the upcoming Summer Sun Celebration, which she believes marks the return of Nightmare Moon, beseeches Princess Celestia to do something about it.

Celestia, however, has another, more important task for her; making sure that the Summer Sun Celebration goes off without a hitch. Every year, a different town is chosen to receive the honor of hosting the grand festival.

And the lucky city chosen this year, for this fateful holiday, is none other than the city of Manehattan...

  • Story: Fugue State

    [Shipping]

    Author: Horizon
Description: Ponyville has a problem: Twilight's friends all switched Cutie Marks, and the musical numbers are flying thick and fast.

Lyra has a problem: She can't handle the way musical numbers get into your head and take you over.

Bon Bon has a problem with that.

  • EQD Music Returns - Search Added, Timberwolves Ate the Vote Database!

So a few days ago I hopped on EQD Music for Trixie music, and couldn't find any due to it being a pain in the moonbutt to browse through it all.  So I called Hypermark up at 4AM and told him to hurry up with the search section.  Now we can search!

Right now, like everything else on the site, it's very much in the testing phase, but the key features of it seem to be working smoothly enough.  Dropping "dubstep" into the advanced search section with vocal checked will give you a list of all vocal dubstep tracks, or you can narrow it down to just vocal show remix dubstep.  You can also search by musician, though it's using their Youtube accounts.  Luckily most musicians label their titles with their pony fandom name, so searching "Forest Rain" or "Tombstone" usually grabs all of the songs that have been sent in from those specific artists.

Now on to the bad news!  Unfortunately while transferring to a different server in an attempt to fix the downtime issues, the votes were lost due to a random parasprite in the system.  That's what beta tests are for though!  Everything else save for a few tracks submitted right before the migration should still be intact.  If you can't find yours, send it again!

And another note on top music: We are still looking for a good way to limit the amount of time a song can spend up on the front page.  Hopefully once all is said and done, we can lock songs out of there every few days.

Thanks to everyone who is sticking with us as we continue to evolve the site.  Hopefully we can take it out of beta within the next few months!
  • Comic: Eye of he Beholder / The Only One Who Knew / Make Them Laugh / Bad Ideas are Bad

That first one makes way more sense than it ever should.  Who's to say a mark can't be interpreted differently?  Mine away Applejack!
