I think of myself as a pretty big metal fan.
I have a big circle of friends. We all go to gigs together, it's awesome.
One of the biggest groups I follow is Sabbaton, they sing about the world wars. I'm crazy about history and war, and it's amazing for me when they perform.

My other big passion is My Little Pony.
If people see me they think "oh, that's metal, he's a dangerous guy", and when they enter here and they don't know about it, then they'll blink a few times and look at me wondering if it's serious.
So yeah, all those pastel colored ponies you see here are truly mine. My collection is one of the biggest of Antwerp, at the moment, as far as I know.
Most people mock or tease me a bit about it, but some teasing is ok, especially with a hobby like this.
I'm a fan of My Little Pony, I find it enjoyable, it is exciting. I always had the princple of doing what I enjoy, and what others think of it ... that's not really my problem.
This train was a gift from my father. Since then he always asks "have you already played with it?" and then I always have to say that I don't play with it, I only collect it. And yet he keeps asking it.
I consider myself a brony. A brony is a combination of the words brother and pony, so brothers of ponies are, in fact, bronies. If you want to compare it, it's a bit like trekkies back then or whovians from doctor who. you come for the show, but you stay for the community.
The My Little Pony show I watch is not the same show from the 80s. it is totally remade, every 10 years it gets remade.
Most people think it's for little girls. I admit it's a bit the main demographic, but it contains humor and references, like the Big Lebowski, and various other things that makes you think it's not just for little girls, it's become a show for everyone, and that appeals to me a lot.
I like action movies as much as anyone else, but sometimes you need a break, and for me this is that break. It's light minded, it's amicable, it's ... just happy.
I wouldn't call the pony world a utopia, there are of course also bad guys, but you do know there will at least be a happy ending and I think that's what everyone wants.
