Big Apple Ponycon Cotton Candy Club Gala Meetup
Big Apple Ponycon kicked of its 2014 convention preparations with its Cotton Candy Club Gala!
It was held in the 1920’s movie palace splendor of the newly reopened Landmark Loew’s Theatre in Jersey City.
The evening featured ponydom’s premiere jazz musician YourEnigma, Lady Aria Phantasy with her pony debut singing hits from the show, classical opera and Broadway favorites, our own Mullet with tap dancing, Tenshi no Ai with an audience participation pony pop hit parade with fabulous dancing and Bronies-NYC’s own DJ Kezz.
There was also a costume contest, a cookie bake-off and a Smile, Smile, Smile sing-a-long at the end of the evening.
We also had a massive RAFFLEMANIA with thousands of dollars of pony merch donated to Big Apple Ponycon by Midtown Comics, Rainbow Honey, IDW Publishing, EthePony, Andy Price, Kar Red Roses, MyLittle Ties, Enter-Play, PackBreakers, Nerdymind, Lissanne Lake, My Little Pony Fair, Ray McComb, Science Fiction Continuum, The Craft Bin, Debra Rolfs, Brandon T. Snider, FishPish Studios and KitKat Vintage.

MLP CCG in Santa Maria, CA
Attention California Central Coast Pony Fans! This weekend Leisure Time Games in Santa Maria will be putting on their CENCON game and comic convention. Incidentally, this weekend is also the official release of the My Little Pony Collectable Card Game. I attended a pre-release event last weekend, and I have volunteered to demonstrate the game at CENCON.
My demo is officially scheduled for Saturday at 6 p.m., but I will be around for most of the convention if you want to check out the game or even play a round. Animators Wanted
Animators Wanted-Anyone welcome, newbies to experts! Do you like ponies? Do you like drinking? Do you like animation? If you answered yes to all three, we want you to help out with the parody series My Little Alcoholic! MLA is planned to be a full-length series starring all original characters--so there's a lot of work to be done!
We're looking for two specific positions to be filled:
1. Consultants--this is for those of you with lots of experience, but very little time. Talk to our lead animator about the details of the animation and lend your experience to make sure the quality is as good as it can be.
2. Assistants--this is for those with less experience, but a lot of passion and time! Basically, we need you to do the drudgework, the time-consuming tasks that are necessary to complete this thing on time. Don't know the first thing about animation? We'll teach you! It's a great way to build up experience and skills!

BronyCon Theater Project

I'm Limelight Raver, I'm a close friend of Nurse Red Heart from Nurse Redheart’s Roundup blood drive at Bronies For Good.
She and I are working on a theater project to create a live action musical of my little pony which we hope to perform cosplay style at Bronycon 2014 next summer and we wish to invite anyone who would like to join us in bringing performing arts to The Herd by Bronies for Bronies!
