Heather Breckel, the colorist for the official MLP comics, and Tony Fleecs, artist of some of the comic covers, have both been announced for Bronycon 2014. Check out the press release after the break!
Baltimore, Md. - BronyCon is thrilled to announce Heather Breckel and Tony Fleecs will attend this year’s event on Aug. 1-3. Part of the team responsible for the massively popular My Little Pony comic books, the two have lent their talents to numerous issues as the colorist and cover artist respectively.
Heather Breckel has been working as a freelance colorist for several years and is currently the colorist for My Little Pony, Peter Panzerfaust, and Number 13, and a number of small press projects. When she's not coloring, she's writing and drawing her own comics, and hanging out with her cats.
Tony Fleecs has created a number of covers for the My Little Pony comic series, and was also the artist for the second installment of the MLP micro series. Fleecs has had comics published by Random House (Villard), Image Comics, Silent Devil Inc., Terminal Press, IDW and Boom! Studios, and his autobiographical comic “In My Life” has been met with overwhelming critical acclaim. Beyond comic books, he has provided illustrations for organizations as diverse as The Milwaukee Brewers and Monster Garage. Fleecs currently resides in Los Angeles.
