Hey there, bronies!
As a few of you may know, last year, /r/thelastairbender and /r/mylittlepony on Reddit had a little competition. It was an internal affair that wasn't advertised on any external sites, yet /r/mylittlepony still managed to raise over $25,000 for charity, and donate 124 years of computational time to World Community Grid. This was so awesome, we just had to do something similar again, except this time with a few extra zeroes at the end of those numbers.
This year, we're going one step bigger. This year, it's not a Reddit competition, it's an internet competition. It's still being hosted on Reddit, but you don't need an account to participate, and we absolutely and unequivocally encourage promotion and spreading the word anywhere possible.
To make things bigger, we're not just fighting the Benders again. Oh, no, this time around, the My Little Pony fandom is taking on the Harry Potter, The Last Airbender, AND Adventure Time fandoms, in a 1v1v1v1 battle to the death.
This competition will be run in four distinct phases, each one lasting 2-3 weeks, and the first phase has already begun. We want to make this the biggest and best competition the internet has ever seen, and completely smash the records set by charity drives in this fandom in the past.
But to do this, we need your help.
