The Brony Thank You Fund has grabbed a pretty good amount of money from the UnderArmor Challenge. Head on down below the break for all the relevant information on it!
Adding to the list of companies that have supported the Brony Thank You Fund this year, the Under Armor NEXT Generation Charity Challenge has just awarded the Fund $500 for being one of the first 4 charities in their competition to raise $500 in a single day. With that matching donation in place, the CalArts Derpy Hooves Animation Scholarship is nearly at 90% of the goal, needing only a little more than $5,000 to finish the endowment and present a check to CalArts.
With the end of the year coming, we'd encourage all charitably minded bronies to consider including the Thank You Fund as part of their giving plans. Once we close out the scholarship drive, we'll be starting to collect funds for cancer research (specifically at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute), and building up a reserve fund to provide aid to local communities in times of natural or man-made disasters.
