Welcome once again to another artist spotlight you guys! Glad you are liking the artists we have spotlit so far and I hope to bring you many more especially since I am making a change to the submission criteria. I've seen several artists that do fantastic work but fall out of the range of my own set limit of 500 faves for most popular submission and that has been a frustrating hassle since I think so many others could easily be spotlit without that silly rule. So, I am getting rid of it! Submit whoever you want regardless of the number of faves, I'll decide who I think would enjoy a little bit of time in the spotlight.
As usual, these posts are in similar style to the Tumblr Spotlights, a group of 3-4 artists will be spotlit each entry along with a small short description along with a small selection of their artwork! In order to make this feature work though we need people to suggest artists to us so make sure to send artists you think need some exposure to calpain@equestriadaily.com. Please also include a short biography I can work with as well as what medium you work in most.
What sort of artists count? Suggestions should follow these criteria:
- No clop or extensive gore galleries as those typically violate our content guidelines. If the artist has a safe for work gallery separate from their not safe for work stuff they or their fans can submit the safe for work gallery. If there is a mix of SFW/NSFW on a gallery the decision whether or not to include them will be judged on a gallery to gallery basis.
- Don't be afraid to spotlight yourself as well as others!
- Artists of all types accepted -vector, OC, traditional, digital. As long as it is pony and of quality it has a chance of being spotlit.
Overarrow
Our first artist in the spotlight tonight is the author of the tumblr Fluttershy Replies and is an apt artist specializing in soft tones and very cute scenes. With their own unique take on pony anatomy and lots of cuddling ponies to boot, you are sure to find something heartwarming in their gallery! Check out some samples below!

FoldawayWings
I've always been a sucker for traditional artwork so I try to promote it when I can! Our next artist specializes in the traditional arts to great effect, bringing even black and white scenes to life with not only a unique personal style, but with the emotion Foldaway is able to convey in their scenes. But just because black and white is common in their gallery doesn't mean they don't know how to color! With some amazing pieces that show what they can do with coloration I'm sure you'll be most impressed.

Pridark
Digital artwork can be hard to master, but once you get the hang of it and find your own groove you can do amazing things with the medium! One such example is Pridark who experiments not only with digital artwork but with digital painting as well. Great at setting up scenes for their ponies let alone at drawing the ponies themselves, I'm sure you'd be able to find something in their gallery to love.

Zookz
I already said I love traditional art right? Though my heart loves the traditional arts I do also love the works of fantastic digital artists as well and when you get the best of both worlds involved I'm in heaven! Zookz, our last artist today, dabbles in both the traditional and the digital, bringing the uniqueness of both to life through his work. Take a look at some of his works below!
