BAUWA Equestria girls meetup
Equestria Girls has finally released here in theatres in Australia. The members of Bronies Australia WA got together to see it. We had tons of fun and laughed at the funny moments. There were a lot of new members including myself who came along and got to meet all the other bronies.

Australia Meetup
On Saturday 24 August 2013, the South Australian Bronies group attended the morning screening of Equestria Girls at Event cinemas in Westfield Marion. Two attendees, Krista and Juliarr, even came in a Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy cosplay. A lot of fun was had.
After the movie, we went to Build-a-Bear Workshop to celebrate Sam's birthday. Oh yes, nothing like 25 bronies yelling out the Build-a-Bear Workshop birthday chant!

Huge Equestria Girls Showing
Hey we're holding a huge Equestria girls screening, renting out a cinema specifically for bronies and we're up to about 150 people so far but significantly more are coming from several other groups, friends of friends and furries. We've paid Hasbro for the permission.
Time: 8th of September, Midday
Where: Chatswood westfield
Cost: $20
We're also including stands that sell pony merch, including plushies and shirts. Everyone who submits their OC gets a customized ticket and their OC on our collage. We're playing a tonne of fan-made content beforehand, all on the bigscreen for all to see! Total of 3 hours of content.
