Fredericksburg Bronies Meetup

On Saturday the Bronies of Fredericksburg met with some bronies from various locations throughout Virginia at Kings Dominion Amusement Park. We spent the day riding rollercoasters, cooling off on the water rides, and overall hanging out with one another. We ate dinner at a Grill in the park and discussed various topics about the show, such as the music and storyboard. We even took a look at some spoilers from SDCC and discussed our point of vie on those topics. Lastly we watched the end of the day fireworks, some of us while in the front seat of a rollercoaster (perfectly in front of the fireworks)! We had a blast at this meetup and thoroughly look forward to the next! This time with new people!

Quebec Bronies Meetup

Quebec Bronies had a nice afternoon this Saturday!

We started our day gather in front of a manga store. We moved to the Musées de la Civilisation where we visited the exhibition Game Story : About Video games history. Some people were amazed to see all these history consoles they never seen in their own eyes, others had fun to play games, no matter the platform is!

Then we went dinner to a "fancy" burger restaurant called Chez Victor. Most of us ordered burger: It was delicious! During this time, we talked about Season 4 infos just revealed.

WANTED: BAD FANFICS

Content: I was thinking to myself the other day and thought "Hey, you know what the Brony community needs? More anger.". And I've decided to fulfill that role myself through a podcast/live radio show (haven't figured out which one yet). However, I still need to decide what exactly to be angry about. I know I'll mostly be reviewing fan-fictions, and while there is no small shortage of terrible Brony fanfics, I don't want to look through the back pages of FIMFiction and read each and every story. So I'm calling upon YOU, faithful reader to give ME bad MLP fanfics to read and review. I'll take almost anything, but I do have a few guidelines for what to not submit.

1) No Trollfics

These are stories that are meant to be bad, and because of that, me reviewing and getting angry about it is exactly what the author is looking for, so I'm not going to bother with it.

2) No "Non-Story" Clop

While I don't have any problem with clop or cloppers, I'm not going to review any stories that are clop for the sake of clop. The author didn't write it for the story, and the readers aren't reading it for the story, so I'm not going to review it. However, if it is a clop that actually wants to have a story (and fails), then I will read it. (And the same rule applies for "gore for the sake of gore" stories)

Other than that, you can submit any story you want and I will read it. Whether or not I'll review it is debatable, but I will read and consider each and every submission.

Furry Convention Looking to Coordinate with Bronies

I'm NightWolf714, though I also go by Libby. I'm working with a furry convention in Tennessee, specifically in Knoxville. It's called FangCon.

We recognize that a lot of furries, like myself, also have a love for my little ponies, so we're hoping to offer some brony content as well. Currently we're hoping for a meet-and-greet as well as a panel talking about the show and why it's so popular amongst the older crowd.

Fan Series Looking For Help

This is a clip from the opening sequence of a new fan-made My Little Pony series being made on YouTube called Animation Is Magic. The series is created, written, directed and primarily animated by Adam Pollock (known on YouTube as WeeAddy31) who also ocassionally provides voices for BG Ponies.

The series is still in very early production, as mentioned on the channel's "About" page, so the creator is accepting requests for all forms of help, specifically voice acting. Don't hesitate to send him a private message on the channel about applying as he let's everyone have a go.
