Looks like a Spanish media publication has picked up on ponies and has done a piece based on a visit to the main Spanish Brony forum. Check out the full translation below:
BRONIES
TRIBUTE TO THE LITTLE PONIES
Everything began in October 2010, when the series premiere of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic aired in the United States.
Soon after, internet forums began to fill with detractors and defenders, and the first ‘Brony’ community was formed.
“4000 people got together in our last U.S convention. We would love to have those followers in Spain, but for now our first meeting was last year and now there are 360 Bronies registered on the Spaniard Hooves website.” Says Fernando, a website moderator. Brony fashion is characterized by ‘Humanizing’ their favourite animal character.
“You dress in their colours, make some ears, some wings, and let your imagination run wild to create the sort of wardrobe your preferred pony would wear.” Says Mai, a member of the Spanish Brony community. “A lot of people don’t know that the values the series teaches are love and tolerance. They think it’s just for five-year-old girls, but the show has references to, and influences from, everything from Phantom of the Opera to Indiana Jones.”

Kansas City Meetup
Today we had about 7 people show up at worlds of fun. not all are in the pictures and i am the photographer who actually works at the park and attended after work (Will McDuffie). also this wounderful airbrush t-shirt was made by one of my lovely coworkers Mallory Burnette.
we had great although hot weather and had a ton of fun.
NYC EqG Meetup
Bronies NYC meetup group members were treated to another showing of EQUESTRIA GIRLS at the AMC 25 Theatres in Times Square Saturday. Fifty pony fans turned out for this special screening presented by Big Apple Ponycon, NYC's hometown Pony convention. Many of the fans showed their spirit by sporting FiM T shirts, socks and hoodies, a few came out in full cosplay! Two lucky fans took home raffle prizes donated by BAP con staff: A rare Pinkie Pie foil trading card and a PPG Bubbles plush autographed by voice actress Tara Strong!
