BronyCAN: Announcing More Musicians + Message Boards
Hey everyone,
First off, BronyCAN is now teaming up with MLP Forums / Poniverse, and as part of our agreement we now have a message board outlet! Want to ask us questions or arrange travel plans with your friends? Feel free to post here:

Secondly, we've got another announcement as we have signed on more musicians set to perform at BronyCAN! The line-up now includes Starborne, djtetsuo., HeyLasFas, and Additive Subtractive!
Starborne is known for her melodic vocal work, soothing piano and wonderful collaborations; expect a musical treat for the discerning ear accompanied by beautiful vocals.
djtetsuo. is a master of four decks, and his freestyle and live mashups leave every performance a different experience. Expect him to hype up the crowd with his antics, regardless of who is on stage.
HeyLasFas is no stranger to brony conventions, their prog-rock and hard rock sounds having delighted bronies at a plethora of conventions already. Expect guitar riffs and solid rock drums during their performance.
Additive Subtractive brings the bass with his hardcore stabs and heavy beatlines. His music will bring anyone familiar with the rave scene back to the days of glowsticks and whistles.
BronyCAN welcomes these musicians on board and we eagerly await the showcase of their talent during our concert, featuring other names such as Silva Hound, Donn Devore, and Fen Pony, all set to the wonderful lasering of Felyx Lasers.

'Ponycon is rapidly approaching this September the 7th and 8th and as such we felt it best to keep everyone updated with what is going on as the committee get everything sorted for what is looking to be an awesome weekend.
Tickets are of course still on sale and there are still some stalls left for those of you wanting to sell your pony wares. Ticket prices are as follows:
1 day pass - £15.00
Weekend pass - £25.00
1 day stall pass with weekend ticket - £40.00
Weekend stall with weekend ticket - £50.00

All of the 100 early bird goodie bags have now gone, however we are offering those ponies that can't attend the event the opportunity to advertise with us. Prices for our different advertising packages are as follows:
£10 for a flyer/coupon in our goodie bags
£20 for that and flyers on the reception desk
£50 for both those options and half page spread in our con book
We are also now accepting submissions of art and articles for our conbook. Anything is accepted (but please no gore/nudity/violence etc) as long as it is pony. We are a multi gen convention so by all means feel free to include older ponies if you wish. Artwork based around our mascot Britannia or the 30th anniversary of My Little Pony is more likely to be accepted :) Please send all submissions to ukponycon@gmail.com

Ponycon AU 2014
Get ready for PonyCon AU: Marebourne! Australia’s second pony convention and the followup to the extremely successful PonyCon AU. The 2014 convention will run over the first weekend of February, 2014. The PonyCon team also has a Pozible fundraiser (Australian Kickstarter) currently running, aiming to acquire enough to fly Andrea Libman and Peter New down to Australia, so they can host panels and signings for the fans. We've already hit our goal for Andrea Libman, and our first two stretch goals on the way to Peter New. So come visit us Down Under next year, for the best Australia has to offer!

I hope our banner totally didn’t give the surprise away (or the title), but we gladly present DustyKatt, the world’s most manliest Brony. After working on his own show “Stay Brony, My Friends,” where he has interviewed show staff and many others, along with his hand in many charity events, he has gained quite a following in the fandom. We hope that some of his words of manly wisdom will spread over to you all!

Banner Contest is Here!
What’s a cool way for your art to get exposure and to win $50?
The answer is “Swift Sketch’s Banner Contest!” We have set up a contest for you artists to show what you can do! Entries are to focus on demonstrating what the Brony community is all about. The winner will receive the aforementioned prize of $50, and they will also have their winning banner posted on our main website! Website Updates
We’re adding a staff and guest page so you can all catch up with who’s setting this up and who’s going to bring in the magic! However, we are going to close the “Small Presentations” registration due to lack of interest, but this means that we will extend the time people have to showcase their artwork! So if you have something you want to show off to everyone at our expo, whether it’d be a game, a piece of art, a video, or whatever it may be, register as soon as possible!

As a reminder, our VIP registration is closing at the end of this month, so if you want special access to the convention's VIP-only Celestial Room and other exclusive goodies, make sure to register for your VIP pass before the end of July!

Volunteer Registration!
We are still looking for volunteers to help us on the day of the Expo. If you are interested in this, please visit our page and register to become a volunteer! Volunteers will be expected to work a shift, and will be at liberty to enjoy the convention for the rest of the day as we rotate between the “Royal Guard” shift in the morning and the “Lunar Guard” shift in the evening! Volunteers will also receive a limited-edition t-shirt and half-price admission to the convention, among other cool perks.

One last thing before we split. If you hear people going around and saying that our convention has a guest that we have not announced, chances are the person is spreading rumors and thus, should not be trusted. That said, if you want to get the latest news about our con, just go visit our website, social media pages, and these convention posts! And really, this is with everything. Just confirm your sources! Now go write a 12 page paper about friendship!
