Nashville Bronies

The Nashville Bronies had an early 21+ St. Patty's (Berry Punch's) Day celebration on March 16th, 2013. We all met up at a dive called Santa's Pub! A fun and cheap karaoke bar run by a couple, which the husband looks and is called Santa while running the bar and Mrs. Claus helps run the karaoke and the door. We all sat down talked, drank, sang a few songs and had a wonderful time! We were even able to go up as a whole to sing Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Everyone had so much fun that when we all went to leave, we all decided Waffle House was a better idea. We end the night around 12:00 am and all can't wait for next year!

The Trotting Dead Project

- This going to be the first-and-only fan-made episode of a crossover between "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" and "The Walking Dead", otherwise known as "The Trotting Dead".
- Voice actors are set, but I am still looking for animators, background artists, concept artists who can design Zombie Ponies, and people who can design puppets for Zombie Ponies, Big Mac, Shining Armor, and Cranky Doodle Donkey.
- I'm still worried about using "copyrighted characters" from Hasbro an DHX Media (even though this short episode is completely and utterly a fan-based concept – made by fans – for fans – and intended for free distribution for the promotion of My Little Pony) and the whole "Walking Dead" setting/theme concept created by Robert Kirkman.

AbqBronies Events

The Abq Bronies, Albuquerque's largest and only brony community, has a couple of events coming up.
Board game night will occur this Friday (22nd), as every Friday, beginning at 6:00 at Kaboom (east side location, neat Wyoming and Constitution). Bring your favorite game!
On Saturday we will gather for a game of touch rugby in Snow Park (Indian School and Moon) at 2:00. No experience is needed, we'll go over the rules before we play.
Lastly, everyone is invited to submit a story for our Fanfic Contest. Original work only, please, no more than 2 pages in length at 11pt font, single spaced. Entries can be emailed to konpeki(at)gmail(dot)com.
