National MLP Convention for Canada Confirmed
BronyCAN is pleased to announce our national convention will occur at the Executive Airport Plaza Hotel and Conference Centre in Richmond, B.C. on Aug. 24 to Aug. 25. BronyCAN is Canada’s premier national convention for all fans of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
“One of the most exhilarating details about our Brony convention is the large scope and magnitude of it. Nothing in Canada has ever been planned this large or exciting,” says Jay Weiland, Con Chair for BronyCAN. BronyCAN has already begun on strong footing. “We’ve had the most successful kickstarter of any Brony convention to date, with $12,440 contributed via our indiegogo campaign. It really shows the massive level of excitement and support across Canada for our convention,” said Stephen Conrad, Deputy of PR for BronyCAN.
BronyCAN promises an exciting lineup of Brony musicians backed by an intense laser show courtesy of Felyx Lasers. “One of the things we noticed was lacking at most pony conventions was a good lighting show during the dance. We wanted to provide our musicians and guests an awe inspiring experience,” says Kristie Bush, Head of Guest Relations.
