Life. Life is tough. We will experience in our existence a number of obstacles that will beat us down and push us to the brink, to the point where we believe all may be lost and we cannot possibly recover. But it is not the obstacles in our lives that define us, it is how we overcome the obstacles in our paths that define us, a boundless optimism we pull from within that pushes us forward through the darkness we face and overcome whatever is in our way. No matter how big or small these obstacles may seem to others, it is the obstacles in OUR lives that matter and ultimately shape us into who we are depending on how we deal with them.

If life was easy, we'd be done with it already.

Sorry for the lack of news folks! It has been crazy between everyone going to Unicon and science pony dealing with a rather busy week. Let's try and make that up with tonight's Roundup, shall we? Check it all out after the break!

French Canadian Paper Talks Pony

More pony in the news guys! While I can't read French it's certainly nice to see more about the fandom. Here's a quote by a fan that sent this in:

"I didn't had time to scan the newspaper yet (I'll send it to you when I'll have time, I have a pretty busy weekend), but a popular Québec City newspaper, Le Soleil (in English, The Sun), wrote a nice full page 4 on bronies and the love and tolerate philosophy in this morning's edition. They went to the Québec City meetup (not the Québec meetup who were in Montréal) last Saturday and we watched the season 3 finale together. And that was pretty fun. One of the participants even drew an OC for the journalist who was there, who proudly hung it up at her office."

North Texas Brony Meetup

Round 24 bronies showed up for this one. The North Texas Bronies all gathered to watch the season 3 finale, followed by several PMVs, comics, Fighting is Magic tournament, Toys R Us raid, and a mall trip. We were also joined by the UNT Bronies who are just a hop, skip and a jump from our place doubling our meetup size and provided 6 pizzas. Needless to say, fun times were had!
