DerpyCon South will be held this October the 4th through the 6th, 2013, at the Hilton Riverside in the Crescent City! Located just around the corner from the French Quarter, Bourbon Street and all the excitement and fun New Orleans has to offer we very much hope to see you there!
The air is full of excitement for the DCS staff as with this announcement we are also now accepting donations and our kick starter is in full motion with lots of perks available to anyone generous enough to back the convention! MWBFKC 2013 Press Release
We have big news here at Midwest Bronyfest KC! We are proud to announce Sam
Vincent as an honored guest at our convention. While known in the community for his role as
Flim, our favorite travelling cider salesman, his talents have also graced Cardcaptors, Ed – Edd –
and Eddy, and most recently as Russell (best pet by the way) from Littlest Pet Shop.
We are happy to announce that Greggo of Greggo’s Game Shows will also be providing
some amazing entertainment for our convention. Known on the anime convention circuit for his
captivating, interactive game shows, he also is a bit of a Brony himself and will be showcasing
some pony themed games for us.
Don’t forget our already exciting lineup of community talent including CircuitFry,
Michael A, DJ Squirrel, and White Dove Creations (of ‘Fausticorn’ plushie fame). White Dove
will also be raffling off one of her signature plushies for a lucky convention goer.
But wait, there’s more! Midwest Bronyfest KC is proud to announce its charitable
beneficiary, Child’s Play, an organization that provides games and toys for hospital bound
children around the country. All proceeds from our charity auction will go directly to Child’s
Play benefiting the Children’s Mercy Hospital of Kansas City. Learn more about this great cause

the auction, including a BronyCon 2012 security staff shirt signed by John de Lancie. We hope
to grow the treasure trove of charity awesomeness in the months to come.
Midwest Bronyfest KC 2013 will take place in Overland Park, KS on July 27th-28th at the
Overland Park Convention Center. Registration is 35 dollars if you get your ticket by March 1st.
