Journey of the Spark Seeks Animation Puppet Builders
The good folks over on the Journey of the Spark project are currently looking for some new talent as they put together animation puppets needed for their film. If you have some experience and want to help out on an awesome pony project, check out the details below.
urrently, we are looking people to help us create the animation puppets that our animators are going to use for the Animation process in the film. Included with this E-Mail is a picture showing off the Animation Puppet for Twilight that was created by Assistant Director (and former Art Director) Jan Engel.
There are some very specific qualifications we are looking for with this particular position. Here are some of the following:
- Whomever applies for this position must have experience working with animation rigs/builds in Adobe Flash.
- We specifically work in Adobe Flash CS4-6. So please make sure that if you are to apply for this position, you work within these versions of the program.
- Considering that one of our builds is already finished, there are specific methods we have for organizing the multiple layers found within the builds. So if you are accepted for the position, your work on the character builds will be supervised by Mr. Engel. So please be open to Constructive Criticism.

Ponies Appear in French Videogame Article
The Gamerloft pony game (which I still haven't been able to play. Arg!) has hit the news over in France in a newspaper called "Le Monde Économie" which is a left-wing general economics newspaper. The article speaks about the evolution of videogaming and such, mentioning and displaying ponies in the process. If you can read French I'm sure it's a good read!
