The Equestrian Currency Contest is open to submissions! As the name suggests, the ECC in a
contest for the brony community to create a fanon design for bits, which are the currency of
Equestria. This is a contest open to all skill levels, so don't disqualify yourself without even trying.
There's more to it than just a design contest though! After the submission period is over, there will be time for voting. The winning design by popular vote will actually be minted on solid brass tokens, so not only can you have a hoof in designing and choosing what bits looks like... you can own some too!

Luna Radio Charity Event
Luna Radio will be hosting a DJ-athon fundraiser for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. We are a non-profit organization, which means all funds will go directly to helping those who were affected. This event will be hosted from Nov. 12th through Nov. 18th starting at 12:01 AM EST Monday. From the Squirmin' German Octaviapus, to our resident Aussie Blacjak21, we are here to play some music and have some good times, but overall help all those affected by Hurricane Sandy. We will be featuring an interview with Tarby on Oct. 17 at 10pm EST (0300 GMT) and Nowacking (The voice of Vinyl Scratch on epic wub time) Oct. 13 at 9pm EST (0200 GMT). More interviews to be announced!! Be sure to be there and donate to help those in need! 100% of the Donations will go directly to helping the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

The Brony Show Episode 74
Hey, everypony! We’re so excited! Season 3 just premiered two days ago! Did you enjoy it as much as we did? Stop by the Brony Show livestream and tell us what you thought! We’ve got tons of awesome stuff for you to enjoy, if you wanna stick around for an awesome show. To start us off, we’ll get started around 5:00 PCT/8:00 EST, where Anchors will be doing his fanfic reading. We’ve got the best the community has to offer in his selection, and you definitely don’t want to miss it.
After that, we celebrate the release of Season 3 with the two part premiere! Think of it like The Brony Show Theatre 3000 or something. Drop by the stream, comment, make fun of Sombra’s like of lines, whatever you wanna do! Pony Cruise
Pony Cruise 2012; the first international meet-up between Finnish and Swedish bronies, went down on the 10th of November and was deemed a great success! The 13 Finnish representatives set sail for Stockholm on the 9th, drinking heavily and stuffing themselves with great food all through the trip. The following morning they met up with the Swedish bronies at Stockholm’s central train station, from where the meet-up officially began. After a quick lunch, the toy stores around Sergelstorget were raided for ponies, before the group moved to the historic quarter to visit a science fiction bookstore and hang around in front of the royal castle. The royal guards were not disturbed by crazy brony antics or loud pony music despite the group’s best efforts. After witnessing the ceremonial changing of the guard, the bronies raided a few more stores and said their goodbyes with a large group hug. The Finns then raced back to the terminal and boarded their cruise ship for another night of decadent indulging in drink and cuisine. This was a trip and a meet-up to remember!
The Finnish bronies wish to thank the members of the Swedish pony community for their hospitality and welcome our neighboring brothers and sisters to visit Finland any time they wish; we will be more than glad to return the favor! Brohoof! /)

Penn State Meetup
Fillies and Gentlecolts:
This past Saturday, the Penn State Bronies held a party in honor of the Season Three premiere. Our lovely resident baker created cupcakes for all of us to devour. After watching the premiere (of which there were much remarks about hidden meanings in the episode, Berry Punch, and Gak), we played a round of Mashup (an epic game that involves participants writing down different elements of a story whilst rotating papers around the room) and many, many rounds of Cards Against Humanity. There was much love and friendship as we all left for the night (or rather early Sunday morning), seeing as we would not be seeing much of each other for the next few weeks due to a rather inconvenient break.

Texas Panhandle Group
I have created a Facebook page, very basic right now, called the Bronies Of The Texas Panhandle! This is the first brony page dedicated to those in big ol' square in between New Mexico and Oklahoma. I wanna try to set up meet ups in the different cities, and try to get us all together! We in the Texas Panhandle don't have many places we can hang out with our fellow bronies, so why not try this out?

SCV Meetup
Greetings everypony! It's once again that time of the month where the Bronies of Santa Clarita have their monthly gathering at the mall. It will be this Saturday November 17, 2012 at the Westfield Valencia Town Center at 3:30 P.M. There are many shops to browse and many restaurants to eat at for dinner (both on mall premises and in nearby parking lots), so this would serve as a great opportunity to hang out with fellow bronies in an environment with variety.
