For each cycle drains their talents from them, each conversation twists old friends into enemies, and not a single one of them knows how to save the world. Some of them have even stopped trying.

And then Twilight finds a way. All that's left to do is gather everyone back together.

Story arcs written about an apocalypse cycling in perpetuity and the effect it has on Equestria. Not as dark as it tries to be.

Miniature Collection Set #2 Review + Bonus Enterplay Tin

As many of you may have noticed, a month or so ago the new set of miniature ponies snuck into stores.  There really wasn't a whole lot of warning on these, and to this they they still seem to be randomly distributed.  Some stores in other states have piles of them, while the stores in my personal state of Arizona have very few. The ones I did check only ever had the old sets.

I eventually grabbed all three off of Toywiz, along with the equally hard to find Enterplay tin.

I apologize for the delayed review! Hopefully next time around I will get to the stores before all you other Arizona bronies empty the shelves!

The guys over on Kotaku have tossed an article up all about this crazy pony thing for the masses of gamers that haven't been absorbed into the herd yet.  As is the norm for these guys, It's well researched, well written, and fun to read even for those of us who spend every single day in a deluge of pony.

Artisan Pony Crafts Compilation #6

It isn't often that we get papercraft pony art, which is quite a shame, but when they do pop up it is usually amazing! Just look at the care put into that giant paper Luna. Simply mind boggling!

Game Trailers : MLP-RPG Official Trailer / Trixie's Castle

The ever expanding community of video game creators here on the wide wide world of the internet has two more pony filled projects for you all to drool over.  The first is a full on new RPG with a whole pile of  functions, including 10 classes, 200 skills, and teleportation systems.  The trailer even pulled a modern day high budget game trailer stunt and dropped some dubstep to get it started. And in the second slot, the Great and Powerful Trixie is looking to aquire her own game. This one more specifically is an in-progress sprite hack of a game on the SNES called "soloman's Key". You can find that below the break as well!

Hub Continues to Climb the Ratings Ladder

Nick And More! has dug up a whole plethora of information from The Hub's continuing success as they keep on expanding their audience for the 11th month in a row.  Included in the piles of numbers showing off just how massive the increase in viewership is for just about everything, you can find a bit of information on Friendship is Magic.  The demographic information in particular is interesting.  It looks like the younger generations are starting to flock to the pony:

A new episode of “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic” (Saturday, 10:30 a.m.) earned year-to-year delivery gains among Kids 2-11 (+117%, 280,000), Kids 6-11 (+460%, 140,000), Women 18-49 (+314%, 87,000), Adults 18-49 (+247%, 125,000), Persons 2+ (+192%, 494,000) and Households (+143%, 316,000).

Along with the obvious adult demographic.  Piles of pony at Hot Topic and every website on the planet is probably to blame for that one.  There also appears to be a massive spike in women watching the show, be they parents or genuine female pony fans.  The "brony" fandom has always largely consisted of adult males, so its refreshing to see a pickup in that area. 

Hopefully the hub slowly becomes available in more areas.  I know quite a few of you still don't have access to it.  My HD Package skips right over it, forcing me to view it in SD each week.

Expansion on Upcoming Pony Book Summaries

Along with the Rockin Palooza book posted earlier, the synopsis for Under the Sparkling Sea and Twilight Sparkle and the Crystal Heart Spell have both been expanded upon, including more information on Aquastria.  Have some infos:

Under the Sparkling Sea:
This gorgeous illustrated picture book features a brand-new My Little Pony underwater adventure, and includes an exclusive art poster!

Less Than Two Days Remaining on Amy Keating Rogers' Kickstarter!

We reported a month ago on a project that Amy Keating Rogers, a brilliant and influential writer for Friendship is Magic, was trying to get off the ground. The documentary: Jason Bateman Thinks I'm Dead is a journey through Amy's life, career and the entertainment industry as a whole as she embarks on a magical quest to track down actor and former classmate Jason Bateman to inform him of her continued existence. The documentary is fully filmed, and (I've been told) has a very happy ending. But production and distribution is a very involved and expensive process.

So far, the response has been very very strong: more than $17,000! But that's only about 20% of the necessary funding. Due to the nature of kickstarter, unless the full $80,000 is raised in the next 43 hours, then all of the amazing donations will melt away into well wishes. It's a daunting amount of money in not a lot of time.

Money is not an easy thing to come by, and especially at this time of year there's a lot to spend it on, but even just ten dollars could make the difference for successful funding in the end. Amy is a bright and wonderful person and her work has brightened this community considerably. If you've ever been touched by Smile, Smile, Smile, or if you've caught yourself laughing at words like picklebarrel or kumquat, I implore you to consider donating. If you can't donate or don't want to, you can still contribute by helping get the word out to others who might be able to help out. Please, do your part. This is too cool a project to just let it fade away.

Pinkie Pie and the Rockin' Ponypalooza Party

Another book from "Little Brony Books" has been tossed up on Amazon for pre-order, with a July 2nd release date. This is the same company working on the seapony and guide to Equestria set we posted a few days ago. Amazon has a summary up that gives a bit of information on what it's actually about:

Pinkie Pie has always been a bit different from her very serious family. When she plans a Ponyville "rock" concert to support the family business, Pinkie's family doesn't like the idea. They just want her to be serious, for once. This is a real problem! Read along as Pinkie gets a little help from her friends in this original and brand-new adventure!

Pinkie Pie box Revealed from Enterplay

For all you collectors out there looking to nab the final mane 6 promo, this is the way to get it.  Around the middle of December, Target will release the box seen above, with the promo, various pinkie related objects, cards, stickers, and a poster with a checklist on the back. 

They haven't mentioned the item's rarity at all, outside of it's plans for releasing specifically at Target to begin with.  Plan a trip for the 15th if you want one just in case!

Michelle Creber Joins "Animate! Miami" Convention

The general animation convention over in Miami Florida that is looking more like a pony convention as the days roll on has added yet another Friendship is Magic staffer to the already star studded cast of guests.  Michelle Creber will be showing up to join Andrea, Nicole, Peter, for the event.  Full press release can be found after the break!

More Babs Seed on the Way

As an honorary eastern representative of the Cutie Mark Crusaders organization, it looks like Babs Seed may be seeing a bit more airtime in the future.  Whether this is a full episode or just a one off mentioned pony isn't completely clear, fans of the new character can at least expect to see some more of her according to Cindy Morrow (One Bad Apple's writer) on her Twitter page. 

I for one welcome our new tail covering pony trope.
