Friendship is Magic Official Handbook Disappears from B&N and Amazon!
As the headline says, the interesting book posted a week ago on EqD which seemed to be for older fans has disappeared from both Amazon and Barnes and Noble. It's a shame because the book certainly seemed to hold promise! Hopefully it is only a temporary thing.
Ponies in Swedish Newspaper
Ponies are once again popping up in news media, this time in the Swedish newspaper Norra Västerbotten! It's been quite a week for our little pastel ponies hasn't it? Thanks to EquineNoxX we have a translation to English which I have uploaded to a Google Doc you can find here.

"My name is Lightning, host of the Lightning Round podcast. In addition to that I also do 100% voiced fanfic readings. An upcoming fanfic that is in the works is On a Cross and Arrow. For those of you that don't know, it is a rule 63 fanfic that introduced the male versions of the mane 6. This reading will require a lot of voice actors. Friends on the Moon Charity
Friends on the Moon is a charity dedicated to helping bronies in
the community who are struggling with things in their life beyond their
control. Whether it's a lifelong disability or a life-altering injury or
event that is throwing their life into Chaos, Friends on the Moon is
there to help!
Each month a different brony (or bronies) who needs
our support and friendship will be selected, and each month a donation
goal will be set according to the specific needs of the brony (or
bronies) in question. But in order to help these bronies, we first need your help!
Send an email to us at fotmcharity@gmail.com about
a brony (boy or girl, or even yourself) who you think could use a
little extra support and a way of contacting them (email, skype, phone
number etc), and we will see what we can do!
After we receive enough emails, our team will
contact those we are emailed about and ask them for their permission to
support them. If given permission to help, we will then host a
Livestream and send out a newsletter to the news sites with information
regarding that month's selection(s).
Livestreams will be held on the first Saturday of each month, starting hopefully as soon as October 6th, 2012.
So send in your suggestions and help our dream to become a reality!
