Autumn is just around the corner and with that brings the beginning of the apple harvest season. Soon there will be enough apple pies, tarts, juice, cider, ect in stores to make the whole Apple Family proud! I know I'll be getting some apple based goods this fall.
Roundup time guys! Hope you all had a great weekend!
ATG Group Weekly Wrap Up
I know many of you out there participated in and loved the Newbie Artist Training Grounds held last month, but just because the event has ended means the fun is over. The Artist Training Grounds Alumni Group would like to invite you to some fun of their own! Check out what they have to say below.

Hey, everypony! I know some of you really enjoyed drawing for the NATG, and would like to continue having themes to draw for - maybe on a weekly basis? Well, it turns out, you're not the first to have thought that this was a good idea. A group of us have been doing so every week since the end of the first NATG (we're up to our 65th week running!), and we'd be happy to have you join us! Our deviantart group can be found here: http://mlp-atg-alumni.
Aw, you guys have cake for me. How sweet!
The Fabulous Megacollab, Darling!
A bunch of musicians are currently hoping to put together a rap collab about everyone's favorite mashmallow, Rarity. In an interesting twist, they are asking for submissions either 'praising or dissing' her in order to shows multiple facets of her character. Check out the full details below!
I, AutomaticJack, iBringDaLULZ and several other musicians from around MLR and Skype are putting together a rap collab about Rarity. The general theme of the piece is meant to reflect the duality of her character (i.e. she generally comes off as either a terrible, vain individual, or the most generous pony in all of Creation). Submissions are to pick a side, either praising or dissing her. Keep it clean! No submissions containing innuendo or swearing, please.
Anypony and everypony is welcome to contact me, at this email address ([email protected]), concerning details. I am willing to work with newbies, provided I'm able to get their submission up to the quality standards of the piece by the deadline.
The deadline is December 1st.

Pony 411 - Episode 4
Copy Paste:
Pony 411, a new MLP:FIM-themed podcast tackling the stories and
topics of the show's fandom, would like to announce its fourth episode!
In
this week's episode of Shrek- I mean, Pony 411, we have a ton of news
to go through, including more info about the Adventures in the Crystal
Empire DVD, convention news regarding Equestria LA and a new con opening
in Germany, a bit about about new official plushies (TWILIGHT! HAS!
WINGS!), and more (snowboarding. Wait, what?). We also talk about the
season 1 boxset finally coming to the US and the rise of music from the
fandom.
As something extra awesome, Four String interviewed Le Soldat Pony ( http://www.youtube.com/ soldatpony),
an exceptional musician we have gushed about previously. And we're
totally not saying these nice things just because he listens to our
show. Honest.

On Saturday, Sept 15, Boston-Bronies and Western Mass Bronies met up
at the Big E for a day of fun! Despite the fact that only six of us
showed up (out of about 15 that RSVP'd), we still had a great time
enjoying the delicacies of The Big E such as deep-fried cheese curds,
various types of beef jerky, and even some fresh apple cider and
sarsaparilla! A most wonderful time everyone had. If any of you
readers are in the southern New England area, don't pass up on this
fantastic fair!

Nova Scotia Bronies Meetup
Copy Paste:
Saturday the 15th we held the biggest and most successful meetup of the Nova Scotia Bronies in the Halifax area since we organized our group last November!! We had a total of 30 at our busiest point. Much company was enjoyed, a lot of new faces came out to see what the meetups are all about! Our theme for September was "Sugarcube Corner" where we amassed a plethora of nearly all home-baked treats, cupcakes, cookies, cakes, apple dumplings, maraschino cherry oreo snowballs, fudge and an assortment of other goodies on the Halifax Commons. Many thanks to all who brought something along, and to all the new faces, we hope you all enjoyed yourselves and hope you can come again!

International Downtown Disney Meetup Day 1- Orlando, Florida
The members of Central Florida Bronies (CFB) had a meet up on Saturday, Sept 15, 2012. The meetup was quickly planned in one month by two members of the Yorkshire Bronies group, who posted a notice which was quickly responded to and planned. And delayed well in advance. And voted. And then planned again. It was finally decided that the two international guests would definitely go to DD on Saturday, and maybe on Sunday too for those in who couldn't attend Saturday, however the guests decided Animal Kingdom for Sunday and a meet up continued on Sunday, with a few from the Tampa region coming over.
The day started around 12:30 PM with the members ponifying the sitting statue that greets vistors and a nearby Lego Buzz Lightyear. Later activities included bass dropping/throwing, making duck faces in the mirror, randomly clapping/cheering in stores, and standing around under a small canopy as it downpoured for about 40 minutes. There was some rain, but we bronyed on.
Afterwards to eat, we (and more members after work) arrived to Cici's Pizza where we ate a little and talked a bunch. And stared at pony pictures on a computer for a good 2 hours. And much like at Downtown Disney, we encountered more bronies that weren't part of the group. How lucky. Then the guests and our merchant decided to pack it in for the night so we said our byes.
But it wasn't over 100%. Not for some locals. From 7:30 PM to 1:00AM we gathered around a TV and watched YouTube videos and games at Eric "RainBro Dash"'s place. Videos included his Umicon Daytona panel, Remí Galliard pranks, fail/win compiles, and WKUK. There was also time to review/commentary on pictures taken throughout the day too.
It was a fun day, even if there was a little rain. I don't know how Day 2 went though but I hope it was just as fun. And Brandon Scratch says hi.
