Equestria LA has recently released new information regarding recent developments concerning this year's convention. They'd first like to announce the attendance of Amy Keating Rogers and Cindy Morrow, bringing our pony writers to the masses.
They would also like to announce that they are expanding the event! Now covering two days, EQLA promises more time for pony fun to all its attendees. Considering this also changes registration and hotel information a bit, it's advised to check out the press release after the break to get the full details.

Finally and most importantly, it gives us great pleasure to announce that show writers Amy Keating Rogers and Cindy Morrow will be in attendance at Equestria LA 2012.
Amy Keating Rogers originally began writing plays. In fact, when her play “The Stuff” was being produced in Hollywood, Craig McCracken approached her to write for The Powerpuff Girls (she was working as a Production Assistant at the time). Craig liked her work and she was brought on as Head Writer for the show. From there, Amy wrote for many Cartoon Network shows: Dexter’s Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, Samurai Jack, and Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends.
As a freelance writer, Amy wrote for My Life as a Teenage Robot, Danny Phantom, and The Fairly OddParents. Oh, and let’s not forget, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic! Amy was thrilled when Lauren Faust asked her to write for this terrific show!
Most recently, Amy was Story Editor of Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot.
Cindy Morrow graduated from CalArts alongside Character Animation classmates Lauren Faust, Rob Renzetti, Craig McCracken, & Genndy Tartakovsky. She began her animation career as a storyboard artist on Craig McCracken's Powerpuff Girls and has writing and board credits on popular shows such as Dexter's Laboratory, The Misadventures of Flapjack, My Life as a Teenage Robot, Chowder, The Ricky Gervais Show, Care Bears, and of course My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic!
Cindy is extremely excited to be a guest at her very first MLP convention, and looks forward to meeting all the devoted fans and great supporters of My Little Pony!
