Hello everypony! Noble Cause here to drive you all crazy once again! Many of you may remember the last time I ran NaPoWriMo last year in September. I've decided to make it August from here on out, to make it easier on the school fillies and colts amongst the fandom.
So, here's the deal. For those not familiar with National Novel Writing Month, the traditional writing event every September, the idea is to write 50,000 words in 30 days. You'll get an extra day with this event, since August has 31 days, and the key is to write PONY! We've some legendary fics in this fandom, so let's add to it! It starts at 12:01 a.m. local time on August 1st, and ends at midnight local time August 31st, meaning you stop typing at 12:01 a.m., September 1st.
Interested in trying out on this? it's all in fun, and while the higher word counts are fun, we've gotten some magnificent one-shots as well, last time around. If you want in, all you need to do is e-mail eqnapowrimo@gmail.com, with something in the subject line to the effect of 'count me in', or 'NaPoWriMo', something like that. You have roughly a week to brainstorm, so if you've ever wanted to write that shipfic but needed a reason, or wanted to explore just how Fluttershy learned to do chiropractory on that bear in Lesson Zero, this is your chance.
