• Equestrian Model Contest!

The artists working on the show have designed some amazing architecture for the ponies of Equestria.  From the giant New York parody of Manehattan, to the Minas Tirith style Canterlot hanging off the side of a mountain,  it's time to celebrate it, contest style!

We usually run drawing contests, but it's time to break into the 3rd dimension!  Your task is to pick a building, city, or landmark that we have seen so far in the show (Sugar Cube Corner, Canterlot, Ect) and build it!

But what materials can you use?
As you can see, its pretty open!  Find something you feel comfortable with using, or something you want to experiment with, and build!  Painting the structure would be preferred.   If you are using sharp objects or power tools, use the appropriate protection or have someone skilled with such devices to assist you!

    What do I win?

We have some prizes this time around too! Shout Factory has given us five of the upcoming Royal Wedding DVD's  that are hitting stores on the 7th of August to pass out to the winners.  Included in this, someone donated four of the Friendship Express DVD's that will also go to the top four.

    What is the Deadline?

Due to the more advanced nature of this one, we will be going all the way until Saturday, August 10th at 12:00 PM PST

That is two and a half weeks, so feel free to take your time on it!

    Where do I submit?

Head on past the break for the normal submission information.

We will be using our new submission system.  Simply click the "Equestrian Model Contest" event and fill in the blanks with your entry.  There will be a maximum of two submissions per person.

If you would like to film your creation and put it on Youtube,  toss the link in the "Page URL" section.  You will also need a direct image to go along with it though!
