Equestria LA Holds Q&A Panel at AM2!

Love is Magic is Going to TrotCon
Hey everypony, Gentlecolt Collaborations here. The game is still being worked on, slow and steady, and we’re doing our best to make it top quality (which will take some time). However, we have some news for you:
We are going to TrotCon July 21-22! There will be a presentation featuring a Q&A session and we’ll show a bit of the beginning of the game. We will also have a booth where you can come and try it out for yourself! A larger demo is currently being planned for release later in the year for everypony to download from our site. There is currently a poll there that will determine which character will receive a special art scene in the demo (everypony will have one in the full game), so go there and vote for your favourite pony! We’re also looking for more sketchers and voice actors if you’re interested in joining the team.

Midwestria Event Details, Ticket Pricing, Vendor Information and More
You heard about Midwestria way back when and wondered what we've been up to? You haven't heard about us but want to know more? Well look no further! We here at Midwestria have been super busy the past few months and want to fill you in on all the hard work we've been doing.
- Panel Submissions have been open for a little over two months now. We've gotten some great submissions but we could always use more. If you have an idea for a panel that you've been itching to do, head on over to the Midwestria website and fill out the submission form.
- Vendor and Artist registration has been open for almost a month now. We're filling up fast but there's still a few spots left. If you're interested in selling your wares make sure to fill out the application on our website!
- We recently announced our first guest, the developers for MLP: Budding Friendship. Budding Friendship is a slice-of-life game where you play as a blank-flank pony living life in Ponyville. The group will be presenting panels and demoing the game throughout the weekend.
- We'll be holding a Grand Galloping Gala style formal ball preceded by dance lessons for those of you with two left hooves.
- There will be two informal dances featuring some awesome pony DJs, lasers, fog machines and maybe even a party cannon or two.
- We're holding a 5k charity race to benefit a local equestrian therapy center. Following the race we'll be holding an Iron Pony competition featuring challenges such as bobbing for apples, hay bale tossing and an obstacle course.
-We'll have a field day set up on Saturday which will feature a bounce house, inflatable rock climbing wall, laser tag, free cotton candy and popcorn, and tons of other fun activities.
- If you pre-register for the convention you'll receive an exclusive hint for our scavenger hunt. The scavenger hunt will require you to collect the elements of harmony from various locations around the convention. The first person to find all of the elements will win a handmade Celestia and Nightmare Moon plush
- Pre-registration increases from $35 to $40 on June 30th. If you want to save a few dollars make sure you take advantage of the lower rate while you can.
This is just a brief glimpse at what we've been up to. We have many more announcements coming up in the next month, including a long list of guests, so make sure you keep an eye on our website, facebook or twitter for all of the most up-to-date information. We’re sold out! Well, yes, there are a couple of Basic Weekend Tickets left, but it’s pretty safe to proclaim: We’re sold out. (whee!)

12:30 - 13:30 Grand Prix de la Chanson de Ponyvision – Every pony got a bit of a Pinkie Pie side and the song lyrics are mandatory reads; but are YOU the pony that can prove it? Join us at the karaoke!
13:45 - 14:45 Legends of Equestria – The eagerly anticipated MMO set in the world of Equestria is heading to Galacon! SweBow is giving you exclusive insights into development and has got some surprises in store.
15:00 - 16:00 SECRET PANEL #1 – We're looking for people with good reading skills and/or writing hooves for Canni's story about the best night of her life (as long as it's kept E-rated). Interested? Send your audition and/or story in English to: info@grand-galloping-gala.eu.

A relaxing drink, chill chitchat, elegant dances – Whatever you can imagine, all to celebrate her highness Princess Celestia. Musical accompaniment a la Octativa and more are in store. A suitable outfit (see Dress Code) and a Gala Event ticket are required!

10:45 - 11:45 Cosplay Contest – Are you versed in the art of the dress? Are you the pony everypony should know? Show us your cosplay in a creatiuve up to two minute performance and win great prizes! Registration and rules are avaible at cosplay@grand-galloping-gala.
12:00 - 13:30 Ponysuit Workshop – There's a little pony in all of us and some of us want to transform into their ponysona (and if it's just part-time). You can get close to this reality with a wellmade costume! Atalon the Deer will introduce you to the basics of fursuit making.

14:00 - 15:00 'Bronies For Good' Charity Auction – More fan creations and special merchandise is up for offers. All profits go straight to projects of Bronies For Good to make the world a tiny bit better. If you want to donate prizes, please contact us at auction@grand-galloping-gala.

There are no limits for your story, just make sure to keep it suitable for all ages. Longrunning epic or short skit, everything is welcome!
And there’s one thing left - Our con book feels neglected. It’s gonna be the guide for your experience at the con and we want to make it as memorable as possible.

Send your entries to info@grand-galloping-gala.eu - The winner will be announced shortly before the convention. You are not allowed to publish the story anywhere while the contest is still running - Authors can post their stories once the contest is over and the first day of Galacon starts.
