Wait, was the South Park brony thing an actual episode? Cause I wanna check that out.
ReplyDeleteThis was good
ReplyDeleteTrixie still is not
Two Steps From Hell!
ReplyDeleteLOVE THIS SONG.
OMG! Trixie is awesome!
ReplyDeleteTSFH is a cool soundtrack music, if it wasn't so horribly overused in every second damn trailer and music video.
inb4 it's actually real
ReplyDeleteBefore anyone asks about the song:
ReplyDeleteIt's "Protectors of the Earth", by Two Steps From Hell.
Kind of ironic, if you ask me.
That episode better not be real. South Park is a fucking joke that shouldn't exist. It's the reason people think that offensiveness behind the word "faggot" is just petty, and that the word NOW means "stupid."
ReplyDeleteThey'll only bring negative attention to our fandom, and it will be more widely known as just a collection of fat neckbeards.
Sorry for the profanity.
Darnit Trixie, stop trying to have your revenge, you know you'll just get defeated in a comical fashion.
ReplyDelete@Naahdude
ReplyDeleteyou know youtube views don't update correctly until the video's been up for a while, right
Pro editing skillz.
ReplyDeleteThat was pretty well done, and it was awesome too.
ReplyDeleteTwo Steps from Hell and ponies. AWESOME! And then Twilight went super saiyan and kicked Trixie's flank.
ReplyDeleteAnd then twlight turns trixie into a potted plant and sends the bear back to it's cave the same way as last time.
ReplyDeleteYup. That's a Trixie video alright. lol
ReplyDeleteWow! Well done! Sometimes I can tell where Trixie has been edited in, but most of the time, it's really well hidden. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI really hope that South Park episode isn't real.
ReplyDeleteThe South Park episode is definitely fake. Someone started this rumor months ago, and it was posted on the my little brony site at that time where people pointed out that if it were real, they would have info about it on their site, which they don't.
ReplyDeleteHow is this so amazing? I mean it's cool and all, but it doesn't really deserve a whole post...
ReplyDeleteLike a boss!
ReplyDeleteThe editing gods have gifted us.
ReplyDeleteI would be thrilled with an episode like that.
ReplyDeleteTrixie is like fried chicken for Seth. Look at how happy he is! That's how happy I'd be. I love fried chicken.
ReplyDeleteIt would be nice if it were longer. But still, Trixie is awesome! For only being in one episode she has gathered quite the following. I would love to see her in another.
ReplyDeleteTrixie is the greatest, thats why I made a cupcake for her in the we love fine cupcake contest! I hope it gets Seth approved!!!
ReplyDelete@Government-Man
ReplyDeleteWhat the f- people are still offended by South Park? In today's day and age? Seriously?
South Park is the reason ppl use 'faggot' as an insult? Seriously? Are you gonna blame it for a rise in anti-semitism next? You know that Cartman is SUPPOSED to be a terrible, terrible human being, right?
South Park is one of the greatest, smartest, and most subversive TV shows ever. Period. Peri-fucking-od. It uses shock humor and profanity to mask sharp social commentary, like George Carlin or Richard Pryor.
If FIM ever did a fraction of the ratings South Park does, Hasbro would shit themselves.
Yeah between 4chan basically saying bronycon lied about faust and the discord VA showing up and the fake southpark synp i'm sure seth's inbox is totally flooded.
ReplyDeleteThe thing is that Twilight is still going to win. Nice try though, Trixie. Incredibly well done though!
ReplyDelete@Sunset Sprinkles
ReplyDeletelol you must be new to EQD
This was missing something...it should have ended with a black screen while the most blood-curdling scream of Twilight's is played.
ReplyDeleteThat was hype
ReplyDelete@Government-Man
ReplyDeleteYa I wouldn't want SP to do an episode of us either. It is a funny show, but they can sometimes go way to far. But it is kind of the shows purpose, to push peoples buttons.
Cool I just wanted to chech EQD once more before I go to sleep... And I was rewarded!
ReplyDeleteHeh, that was pretty cool. Trixie does need to come back for a follow-up episode some day...
ReplyDeleteRe: South Park, I wouldn't cast it out of the realm of possibility. This is the kind of topic about which I could see them making a great episode. Anyway, I checked both DirecTV's and Comedy Central's listings, and they do have the new episode scheduled for next Wednesday but with no title or synopsis yet. If the source were anything other than IMDb, I'd be quicker to call it a mere rumor. Probably will know for certain in the next couple days, I suppose.
I don't doubt the possibility of a MLP/Brony episode of South Park. Weather it be a direct reference or indirect like what they did with occupy wall street. Hell, with the stir that this whole Derpy fiasco has caused, I wouldn't be surprised if they indirectly reference it this season.
ReplyDeleteAwesome plain and simple.
ReplyDeleteTrixie raging on an unsuspecting Ponyville to get revenge on Twilight. Let me consider if I approve....
ReplyDeleteProceed.
@Yellow 13 I was thinking it would be interesting if the handi-capable character Jimmy was a fan of MLP and strongly identified with Derpy, but then gets offended when Hasbro changed her up -- but the whole incident was so insular and fan-oriented (Has any outside-fandom news organization got it exactly right? Not from what I've read...) that I don't know if that would translate well to SP's general audience.
ReplyDeleteHow much money do I need to throw at the screen to make this happen?
ReplyDelete@Bowregarde
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking that something in a show like Terrance and Phillip would be changed and the kids in town completely over react to it.
@Yellow 13
ReplyDeleteOr even the parents over react/misinterpret something they see in a show the kids are watching, and go about getting it changed.
shit just got real
ReplyDeleteYou can't fool me Seth, the only point of giving this video its own post was so you could post the rumor about the next South Park episode.
ReplyDelete@Yellow 13
ReplyDelete"Or even the parents over react/misinterpret something they see in a show the kids are watching, and go about getting it changed."
If memory serves, they did an ep very similar to this in an early season, when the parents were slingshotting themselves into Comedy Central's building.
"I was just thinking that something in a show like Terrance and Phillip would be changed and the kids in town completely over react to it."
I could totally see them doing it this way... like all of a sudden, Scott in T&P is no longer a dick, and the kids go into an uproar.
Wait, South Park? SERIOUSLY?
ReplyDelete@Gravenstein
ReplyDeleteRight, but usually the likes eclipse the views in a popular video, no?
I guess not, but that would be interesting to see what kind of conspiracy they could whip up for us.
ReplyDelete@Government-Man: Yeah, because it's not like South Park and Matt Stone and Trey Parker have actually come right out multiple times and supported Gay Marriage and the Gay Community.
ReplyDeleteOh wait. They have.
And that episode you're referring to? Yeah, that episode was actually about the gay community being able to lift the stigma of the word away from them and find a compromise with the general public for the betterment of their Civil Rights.
You clearly have no idea what you're talking about, and also clearly you've never seen a single episode of the show yourself, and clearly don't have the slightest understanding of either it's satire or it's messages.
In fact, if it's any one thing that South Park and My Little Pony have very much in common, it's the support in both for the message of tolerance and acceptance.
ReplyDeleteGo watch the episode "Death Camp Of Tolerance" and see for yourself, if you're not too afraid of opening up to another person's opinion.
Hell, at least half of the FiM morals and Princess Celestia letters, I have noticed over the years have strong parallels in a lot of Stan and Kyle's various episode "What I learned today" speeches. Just in a much more mature and at times vulgar and extremely pointed way, but nonetheless, very similar in message, if not in tone.
@mycutiemarkisagun
ReplyDeleteDid you really think I blame it all on SP?
No, obviously I dont. But it certainly plays a hand in kids these days. I understand the writing is fantastic, but most kids under the age of 14 just dont understand. Plus It would expose our fandom too much.
And who bucking cares about ratings?
the difference is i sent it in when i was only the second view. so it was be who brought it to light.
ReplyDeleteMUAHAHAHAHA!!!
Tis amazing!!! And I really do hope that south park isnt doing that.
ReplyDeleteoh that brony episode better be a fake...i swear to celestia that would do more harm than good to us.
ReplyDeleteDidn't this same rumor exist a few months ago? Same "episode" title and everything? Geez, when making up rumors at least be creative.
ReplyDeleteEh. I wouldn't mind a South Park episode on us if they did it well. If they did more research than when they made fun of Inception (watching one video from College Humor). And if they actually, you know, made it entertaining. They don't do that much anymore. But I wouldn't mind if they poked fun at us (they poke fun at EVERYONE). They just have to actually poke fun at US instead of "oh look adult males like ponies now hahaha how lame!"
Oh yeah. And epic Trixie video. WOOOOOOOO
Such a nice video, and it even spared Trixie's ego by ending right before Twilight stomped her into the ground again :P
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!
ReplyDelete@rbwhiffet
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think it did. In fact, according to my google search, one of earliest mentioning of was on October of last year. Pretty weak, huh?
Trixie got what she deserved, and you /ALL/ know it. Now shut up, and give her pine cones to eat. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!!
ReplyDeleteObviously fake, but the editing was pretty sound on this one.
ReplyDeleteFirst Ponyville, then the world!
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who actually hopes South Park does an MLP parody at some point? That show's done some brilliant parodies of other things I enjoy (the Chinpokomon episode being the best example), so I don't see why they wouldn't do a great job with MLP.
ReplyDeleteI'm not saying I buy this rumor, just that I hope it happens eventually.
@NightStarX
ReplyDeleteI've seen every episode of the show, save the newest ones. I understand the message behind many episodes, but many young people don't look deep enough into things like many bronies do. They don't see the sarcasm sometimes, I've witnessed the stupid ways they mimic the show (like the mentally challenged summer camp episode.).
People just aren't mature enough for South Park imo.
lol reminds me of The Road to El Dorado an old cartoon made back in the 2000's er movie really this reminded me of the ending where the creepy tiki dude takes control of a giant cat statue
ReplyDeleteTook me a minute to figure out it wasn't real. Godlike editing is Godlike.
ReplyDeleteSouth Park tends to poke fun at everything, really. People shouldn't take them seriously though. If someone forms an opinion on bronies (or anything, as a matter of fact) based on South Park, they're truly an idiot.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I don't think Trixie would seek revenge on Twilight. That flankhole Rainbow Dash on the other hoof...
ReplyDeleteI want to see Trixie come back for revenge in some manner. And this looks Awesome!
ReplyDelete
