With the official release of these guys coming out in a few days, you may be wondering how exactly McDonalds will be receiving them. Thunder Vision sent this image of the unopened box sets coming to his specific restaurant. It does look like the stocking sheet was pretty accurate on that front. Each pony comes bundled with another right out of the factory.
As is the norm for McDonalds though, exact dates and releases are never guaranteed, so you may get something completely different than what you spect.

Why does it have a picture of a girl? Shouldn't it be a grown man on that box?
ReplyDeleteALL THE RAINBOWS SHALL BE MINE!!!
ReplyDeleteGetting closer, my bronies and i are planning a trek for when they are finally in.
ReplyDeleteCan I just have a box...
ReplyDeleteCollect ALL the ponies! <3
ReplyDeleteI think i see fluttershy on the box. :D
ReplyDelete*Sigh*, I usually loath that restaurant... Now I HAVE to go there...
ReplyDelete@RavensDagger
ReplyDeleteI agree. I think the last time I ate at McDonalds was over ten years ago.
I love that i work at M & M i already have the whole set :3
ReplyDeleteYES! BOXES!
ReplyDeletemy life is now complete...
I would keep one of those boxes if I worked there.
ReplyDeleteWhy does it have a girl on the box?
ReplyDeleteHate McDonals
ReplyDeleteLove Ponies
Therefore i am neutral
Ah hell, who am I kidding. Not even my hate for Apple can stop me from buying ponies from them!
You win this time Ronald...
@DashieBro Ikr
ReplyDeleteWait, a logical reason to go to McDonalds? :D
ReplyDeleteCount me in! It gonna be weird to go into a McDonalds and ask for their pony toys...but who cares!! Ponies!!!
@DashieBro
ReplyDeleteMistake. It was supposed to have an image of a body builder smoking a cigar and drinking a beer
@ZeroHero
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to roll up in there with my "I heart Derpy" shirt on full display when I buy these babies.
I hope I can get them without buying any food though.
@RavensDagger
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling. I've been preparing my body for it, like last year.
@Beta-Carotene
ReplyDeleteActually, it was supposed to be a picture of this guy.
Although great, I am pretty bad when it comes to collecting stuff whether it be ponies, transformers, or bookmarks. Oh well, hope you guys enjoy it. :/
ReplyDelete@PervyBiscuit
ReplyDeleteI suppose if there were one redeeming quality to working at McDonald's, this would be it. :P
@MyBoyJ
ReplyDeleteIf memory serves, you can simply buy their toys for a small price without buying their meals. :)
Then again, if I'm there...might as well get a bite to eat... :P
God i sicken myself. :S
I refuse to participate in this rat race! Whatever will be, will be.
ReplyDeleteJust got off the phone with my friend....
ReplyDeleteHe says he'll reserve me all six!!!!
As long as his manager doesn't know
@Travis Smith the Last Shadowbolt
ReplyDeleteYou lucky dog...
Also, when did you become the "last" shadowbolt? Was your name not long enough already?
@MyBoyJ
ReplyDeletesilhouette of a handle-bar mustache? Legit
Looks like I'm gonna have to eat at the fat factory again. Bleh! Things I do for ponies, I'll never understand.
ReplyDelete@Bolan
ReplyDeleteThere exists a locker in Silver City, New Mexico.
You are each given a key to this locker.
This locker is filled with ponies.
Go.
@Beta-Carotene
ReplyDeleteI call Rowan Atkinson!
@MyBoyJ
ReplyDeleteAbout three days ago
I seem to be the only one that mentions them from time to time
@Twifight Sparkill
ReplyDeleteHeh... Fat Factory.
Actually, in my town, there's a fast food place called the Fat Shack. I've seen their food there. Xzibit comes to mind...
@Travis Smith the Last Shadowbolt
ReplyDeleteWell, they were in only one episode for about a minute, and they were only an illusion created by Nightmare Moon. But hey, Rainbow Dash dressed up like them on Nightmare Night, so she's keeping their memory alive.
Also, there are six toys. The Mane 6 plus Cheerilee and Lily Blossom.
The sad employees of McDonalds. Prepare, prepare for copius amounts of rape.
ReplyDeleteRainbow Dash and Applejack are being "shipped" together lol.
ReplyDeleteLol, is this for real? "We know what the boxes of ponies look like!"...
ReplyDeleteI downvoted this post. Shipping just isn't my thing.
ReplyDelete*rimshot*
"DO NOT FREEZE" lolwtf
ReplyDelete@ Rafasde
ReplyDeleteEven worse, they're shipping all of them together! At the same time!
@Bolan
ReplyDeleteEvery McDiabetes employ thinks that anything that relates to an animal is food, consideration on the other shit that came from that fat guy joint. So they do what they do best.
Make some good ol' country fried ponies.
Ignore diet, ACQUIRE PONIES!
ReplyDeleteNow, how to approach...
1) Yes, I need two Happy Meals for my 'little sisters' who share everything, so could you make sure they get different toys?
2) Yes, I need two Happy Meals, and could you make sure they have different toys? I'm giving mine to my little sister anyway.
3) If I buy a value meal, how much will it cost to buy one of each of the toys you have available?
My local store in Quebec just started selling them, and apparently I was far from being the first buyer, Quebec bronies! Yay!
ReplyDeleteGot Rarity, Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy, if the previous info was right, I'm missing Pinkie Pie for this rotation, hmm... I guess ill need to go to another just to make sure I won't miss her.
@Beta-Carotene
ReplyDeleteOh my Celestia...
@Emperor Reyes The IV
ReplyDeleteMcDonalds food comes from animals? Huh... who knew?
Or maybe, they regularly get shipments of small plastic cows to make into hamburgers. They wouldn't think it was out of the ordinary if they switched them to ponies.
"Frank, what are you doing? Stop staring at it and drop it in the fryer! Start makin' them Pony-McNuggets!"
"But... I really like her mane..."
@Graveheart
ReplyDeleteOr, you walk up to the counter alone, in your favorite pony shirt, and say "I would like to buy one of each of your My Little Pony toys please".
Then you leave with your head held high holding your new pony swag.
@MyBoyJ
ReplyDeleteHeh, I wish I had a Pony shirt. I'd be all over an Applejack or Derpy tee... I so need a job. *forever broke ;_;*
...would they really sell the toys individually like that?
@Beta-Carotene
ReplyDeleteWhatever they can pickup from the street gutters is typically a meal from McfatguyDisaster.
@Graveheart
ReplyDeletePersonally, I always use that number 1 when buying almost anything pony-related. Maybe it's high time for me to try MyBoyJ's bawsslike suggestion, thought!
okay then thank for the info. now need to get them for free.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna do this if and when the toys arrive in the UK.
ReplyDelete@Graveheart
ReplyDelete@Rafasde
Now gather 'round and let me tell you a story.
*Grandpa mode deactivate*
The other day, I went down to Taco Bell with my sister and we ran into one of her friends and his girlfriend. I was wearing my "I Heart Derpy" shirt and the girlfriend looked at it and said "is that a unicorn on your shirt?". I replied, "no, it's a pegasus" and opened my hoodie wider so she could get a better look.
My sister then said, "it's a My Little Pony", and her friend and his girlfriend laughed.
I didn't give a buck.
And today, I went to Target and bought one of the basic ponies while wearing my "Derpy Bags" shirt.
I'm going to collect them all‼
ReplyDelete@MyBoyJ
ReplyDeleteWhat a rebellious man you are. I bet you're the envy of all (2 other comparable people) your friends.
@MyBoyJ Awesome! How can she not tell the difference between a unicorn and a pegasus? Can't wait to get these! Me and my friend are going to try and get some Friday!
ReplyDeleteI don't usually go to McDonalds, but I will make an exception for this.
ReplyDelete@MyBoyJ
ReplyDeleteDude, that is awesome.
Seriously, legendary brohoof
@Beta-Carotene
ReplyDeleteAccording to my calculations, you're a nerd!
@Ephraim117
ReplyDeleteI don't usually go to McDonals, but when I do, I get a pony
@Emperor Reyes The IV
ReplyDeleteD:
No one must know!
@Rafasde
ReplyDeleteDo it. I walked into Target, asked to see the manager, and then inquired about the Canterlot display stand. Unfortunately she didn't allow me to take it but she was cool to talk to.

ReplyDeleteIf I was in that situation, I would stick him directly in the face for correcting me with that ludicrous comment.
I called in to a bunch of McDonald's around me, since luckily I live in a country where there's about 10 of them in a 10 mile radius. ONE of them said they'd have it tomorrow morning! Gonna get my ponies early!

A reminder AGAIN for anyone planning to mob McDonalds for the toys (I work at McDonalds so let's help each other make the experience as painless as possible for each other).
1. All McDonalds can sell you the toys, just by themselves. It's about $1.75 for each but varies on where you live.
2. The toys we have in stock tend to switch about every 2 or 3 days, depending on how quickly we go through them. However, let's say that if Twilight Sparkle is the first toy in the rotation, then once we move on to the next pony we're not getting any more TS, ever. On occasion, we will have two toys in rotation but it's not always the case.
3. All McDonalds should have what's known as a customer satisfaction box. It contains about 10 of every toy in the promotion. However, once we go through the entire customer satisfaction box, we are never given another one, so when it's gone it's gone.
4. If you try and buy a bunch at once, please, come inside (don't go in the drive-thru, especially if looking for a specific pony) and try and avoid the breakfast, lunch, and dinner rushes. If you pull the customer satisfaction card please note that the box itself is not always in a convenient spot (don't ask me why it's not kept nearby, I have no clue) and so in order for one of us to go check to see if we have X pony, somebody else needs to be watching the counter.
5. Be polite and patient, customers who are polite and patient receive it in turn from employees, don't be another person who makes me dread my job even more.
Good hunting."
DO NOT FREEZE... a reminder to only freeze the actual horse meat they use in Big Macs, and not the magical plastic ponies.
ReplyDeleteThe only reason they'd put that warning on the box is if somebody had actually made that mistake before.
I'm gona be at mcdonalds a lot more!
ReplyDeleteI went to two McDonalds today. One pretended to not have received the toys yet, the other had one Fluttershy in the bin by the cash registers, but the clerk claimed the boxes were under other stuff so he didn't sell me any others. One down, 7 to go. And no MLP happy meal boxes in Quebec.
ReplyDelete"Would you like an Apple Pie with that?"
ReplyDelete"No, I'll just take the Ponies"
So I have to go everyday to check if they have the next pony in line?
ReplyDeleteI will force feed my sister if I have to!!! .... Nah just kidding but I hope she's hungry tomorrow
ReplyDeleteYesterday I went to this one McD's as I had a feeling they would have pony toys and they did! So I have Pinkie Pie and Rarity now! How did I know? Well couple days before I went and got a kids meal at the same McD's (yes, i get kids meals for myself) and they didn't give me a toy, so I figured they where out (happened before), and would start giving away the new toys as soon as they arrived.
ReplyDeleteNow I just have to make an excuse when buying a happy meal and ask for the girls toy.
ReplyDelete"That'll be $7 (Or however much it is). *Hands money over and passes back toy*"
"Uh, sorry but could I change this for the girls toy? It's for my uh.. cousin.. yeah."
@garturo62
ReplyDeleteNo.
As I understand it every McDonalds gets a box with 10 of each Pony toy at the start of every month (The customer satisfaction box).
This is in addition to the regular stock of Pony toys (but those only have Pinkie Pie and Rarity).
So if you want to grab them all at once you have to go early (like the first few days) and ask for them and they'll have it in the customer satisfaction box.
After they sell the contents of the box they're out so they have to rely on their regular shipments, which are the same toys but they come in intervals (Rarity & Pinkie, Twilight and Fluttershy).
So I just drove through a storm to my work. I got a full set. If anyone is wondering; it's the mane 6 + Cheerilee and Lily Blossom. On another note: my boss is now 20% cooler.
ReplyDelete@Abababeebabooba, yeah. We all knew that. Haha. I just got two Pinkie Pie's. (One for my bag and another for show.) These keychain parts are super sturdy. All in all, it looks great.
ReplyDelete@BananaBoobBagel I should have read previous comments. I was just really excited to share.

Say that 5 times fast
I think I'll check my McD's tomorrow. And for sure going in on Friday. I hope I don't have to go back every day to see which ones they have x.x
ReplyDeleteCame out of McDonalds today with Rarity and Pinkie Pie. I'm glad I can get the happy meal toys without having to buy a happy meal.
ReplyDelete@Abababeebabooba Nawh, I totally understand. I'm really happy I got them before the rush. You're lucky you got them all.

ReplyDeleteBrony:SHUT UP AND GIVE ME YOUR PONIES!
i just got of work from my shift at that awful place
ReplyDeletei raided our customer satisfaction box
i have two of each now. one set for me and the others are for ebay
Don't think they will come to the UK, so good luck on collecting them!
ReplyDeleteJust had an interesting experience at the first McD I saw ponies at. Asked for whichever My Little Pony toys they had, got two Transformers instead. Switched for girls toys, got two Littleist Pet Shop things. Asked again, amd finally got a Pinkie and a Rarity.
ReplyDeleteMost bronies can probably expect similar experiences. Have fun in your individual quest for ponies.
@mattwhite924 That's not a girl on the box, It's superman wearing headphones...
ReplyDeleteI want to try to get the display to sell on ebay
ReplyDeleteI got mine weeks ago. For once, it pays to be European.
ReplyDeleteDerp, no wonder they didn't have any at my McDonalds. I guess the real release date is still a ways off?
ReplyDeleteSo happy and glad that my mother in law is given the cst satisfaction box at her McD's... She says hers is getting them tomorrow!!
ReplyDeleteI just went to scout the closest mcdonalds, they didn't have it on display but it's already on the happy meal boxes just ask for them. I saw they had them so I told the lady I wanted the pony ones, so she tells some other fat mexican lady in spanish to get some, they seemed to find it strange that I wanted them, I didn't think they would think I wanted it for myself. So she hands me the ponies(got 2 for now) and the fat one is laughing in the back, at me I guess, she then asks her "why are you laughing?" why giggling herself, in spanish of course, probably thought I didn't understand. After that the lady says " here's your Ponies" emphasizing the word pony, I just lol'd and leave with my ponies. I will go back tomorrow to try to get more. also I'm Mexican to so not racist.
ReplyDeleteAnd a heads up to you BELGIANS: They still have them here in BELGIUM :)
ReplyDeleteSo, I can't vouch for other McDonald's but when our truck came today we got 3 boxes of toys. Rarity&Pinkie Pie, Applejack&Lily Blossom, Twilight Sparkle&Fluttershy. That means Cherilee and Rainbow Dash are the last rotation.
ReplyDeleteEven working at McDonald's I never had any idea what the Customer Satisfaction Box was for. Surprisingly I haven't had anybrony come in asking for the toys, but I did get some weird looks when someone asked what toys we had and I gave an in depth description of Pinkie Pie and Rarity.
I almost managed to snag Pinkie and Rarity too. Hopefully I can get the display for one of my friends. (I'm actually not really interested in the toys myself.)
i really really waunt these... now for an excuse to go to mcdonalds and then 3 more fail proof plans to get the toys.
ReplyDeletevictory shall soon be mine....i hope
well... i just tried to get one but even after pretending i had a little sister who was whining in the car fr a pony toy and waiting 5 min while the nice people (mean) searched for a pony toy, i left empty handed with some littlest pet shop crap. sad me is sad
ReplyDeleteI would like to get these, however, because i'm vegan my ethics will not allow me to give mcdonalds my money.
ReplyDeletemaybe ill just wait awhile and buy them off ebay or something.
In case anypony was wonderng, they also let you buy these during breakfast.
ReplyDeleteHere's a way you can get your toys if you're too timid to admit they're for you. Keep in mind it'll end up costing a little bit more (but you'll also get fed).
ReplyDelete1. Call them and ask if they have the Transformers yet (the boys' toy paired with pwniez).
2. If they say yes, go over there and order a grown-up meal and a nuggets kids meal.
3. When you "suddenly notice" the pony toy, say something to the tune of, "Oh, snap. I'm going to be a hero today. Can I get one of each of these?"
Boomshakalaka. If you plan on getting more, you can pretend you're ordering 2 or 3 kids meals for your children/siblings. =P
I have half of the set so far from my McDonalds. I just went up and ask for the toys, "Like A Boss!" The search continues for the rest.
ReplyDeleteYay! I found all the ponies. Yay!
ReplyDeleteShout out to the McDonald's in Lenoir City, TN
Thank You!

Pinkie Pie, Party Time!
I stopped by McD's during lunch break. They only had Pinkie and Rarity available. Oh, well. I have time. Pinkie is best, anyway. Heck, I should've just gotten eight of her. :v
ReplyDeleteI got Rarity and Twilight today. Searching again tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI only wanted Pinkie, so I was pretty darn excited she was first in the rotation. :)
ReplyDeleteI'll be courteous to the others trying to get their hands on these: I'm only going after a Cheerilee and a Lily Blossom for my little sister. We managed to get her the mane six from last year's set (and she got a Pinkie Pie earlier today)
ReplyDeleteIt seems out McD's ARE indeed following the schedule: http://www.equestriadaily.com/2012/02/more-in-depth-look-from-canadian.html
I'll play the waiting game and keep an eye on the ponies available; I bet they'll get pretty angry at so many customers asking them to dip into the Customer Satisfaction box. In the mean time, McDonald's coffee and ponies it is!
