See, this is what I like to see. Welovefine just "Gets" it. Not only do they target our video game/metal/pop culture references with pony, but now they include the one type of toy we gobble up more than anything in Hasbro's MLP Lineup.
Currently their system allows one blindbag per order of three or more MLP Items, be they bags, posters, hats, or their normal tee shirt line. They do limit it at one per order, so if you want to buy six things, I guess you need to order twice for more ponies!
Hit up this page for pictures of everything.

oh so evil of them
ReplyDeletethis is awesome
ReplyDeleteHmm. I think I have all the reasons I need to order something from them.
ReplyDeleteyea welovefine is really smart in what they do.. but yea, this is the Best possible thing!!
ReplyDeleteSome of those toys don't look quite right.. Then again, when have they ever looked right?
ReplyDeleteAnd here I was thinking it was about time I got some more pony shirts... WE LOVE YOU TOO WLF!
ReplyDeleteThe question however, is do we just get a random blindbag per 3 items, or do we get to pick the pony we want? It's seeming like it's just going to be a random one, so it doesn't really seem like that big of a deal...
ReplyDeleteSeriously? I ordered several things a few days ago! Why didnt I procratinate?!?!?
ReplyDeleteSonofab-! My order just came ><
ReplyDeleteGood for those in the US, I guess. Shipping costs are just insane outside of it.
ReplyDeleteThose shipping costs/choices are still utterly insane outside the US. :\
ReplyDeleteNot like I need more reasons to by their shirts! Shipping costs are still to high, though.
ReplyDeleteIf it was one for one, I would get it. Currently though, no deal. 3 for one is insanely too much.
ReplyDeleteTHREE items for ONE blind bag? I'd rather just buy one blind bag for what, $4? than spend $75 to get a random one.
ReplyDeleteI can see it now, a nerdy looking metalhead with a room full of pony toys. Sounds legit.
ReplyDeleteI've been on the bench of deciding whether or not to buy more shirts... I was thinking just one or two but three just gets too expensive for me, and there really isn't a cheaper option on the site other than the 22 dollar hat.
ReplyDeleteI know people want to get the pony they want and all, but really they are Blind bags, the point is to have a random chance. If you want a specific pony go to the store to buy it we all know how to use the numbers, but it can be fun to get a random pony at times.
Blindbags only cost $1.96 at Walmart. And I already have all the wave one. Now if they are offering (doubtful) wave two or three, then I'd be excited. Still it's nice to see they are in touch with the community. I know the blind bags are hard to find in some areas.
ReplyDeleteEU shipping costs need to come down before I would consider buying /anything/.
ReplyDeleteI love welovefine. . .
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty neat, but imo not worth ordering 3 items for :p
ReplyDeleteGah, figures...I just ordered three shirts last weekend. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, this is a very clever marketing ploy.
ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting for my shirt, which I ordered a month ago, to arrive. But then again, it has got to be shipped to the UK, and it only dispatched half a month ago...
ReplyDeleteSomeone needs to help me, please. What store do I go to (store front or internet store) to get these? I am going crazy looking for them.
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad their international shipping prices are damn insane, there's some nifty stuff on there
ReplyDelete@Kinrah In my experience, US orders usually take between 2 to 4 weeks
Need to buy 3 things off their website growing...
ReplyDeleteTheir shipping prices are a bit over the top. I did have to save up before I got my shirt, but it's one of a kind, original pony mertch! Who can say no to that. Also they gave me a welovefine Pinkie Pie sticker! Worth every cent!
ReplyDelete@Derek Wolff
ReplyDeleteSupposedly, some Wal-Marts carry the blindbags, but I haven't had any luck in my area (Long Island) yet. I've heard confirmed reports from Texas and Virginia though.
I've been planning on ordering three shirts from Welovefine for about two months anyway anyway, so in this case procrastination pays off.
ReplyDelete@MyBoyJ
ReplyDeleteDouble anyway! What does it mean?!
SPOILER (it means I wasn't paying attention)
I went to two Walmarts and a Toy R Us today, no luck. All blindbags sold out.
ReplyDeleteHonestly,I'd prefer it if their merch was cheaper than if they gave up out these little extras like posters and stickers and now blindbags.
ReplyDeleteI need a tshirt. But now I have an excuse to buy 3!
ReplyDelete@Derek Wolff
ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend and I have found them at Walmart, and as far as I know, in the United States they are Walmart exclusive (I have read as much, and we frequent Toys "R" Us and Target and have not seen them). They cost approximately $2.00 ($1.96 in our experience) each (before tax). We have been to four different Walmarts for them, and now have all 24 plus a number of Mane 6/glitter extras (plus an empty box to display), and are nearly positive each box contains one of each pony (we know since the bags are identifiable). If one Walmart doesn't carry them or is sold out, find another! (Better yet, have someone at the store check the stock of other local Walmarts!) Happy hunting! :)
@Jenny
ReplyDeleteAck my bad, but they probably -are- available at Toys "R" Us too, as now I'm reading that, I just haven't seen them personally there, and find them all the time at various Walmarts.
I need money to get this. Pretty much I've been going to walmart looking for this stuff. Hopefully they'll have more in December as well.
ReplyDeleteSorry, but while I love those guys, 3 moderately expensive shirts plus insane shipping fees to the UK really isn't offset by a blindbag.
ReplyDeleteNice idea, though.
I was totally going to buy a shirt for them from this, but THREE items? Sorry, but that's asking too much, guys; I can't justify a $75 purchase just to get one single blindbag pony.
ReplyDelete@GabuEx
ReplyDeleteAlas, this. I love their products, but three of them for one blindbag is beyond even my capabilities.
@Derek Wolff
ReplyDeleteThe Blindbag Ponies are said to be available in Wal-Mart. If you take a look at this image, you can get the UPC code. Armed with the UPC code, you can your local Wal-Mart shops and ask them to check if they them in stock by running the UPC code.
My Wal-Mart didn't have any in stock, and they were picked to have a shipment sent to them. So if you have no luck with one shop, consider widening your search area.
And don't forget the cheat sheet!
@Mattatatta
ReplyDelete"...you can CALL your local Wal-Mart shops..."
I derped and missed a key word out.
So, so cruel, yet so canny...
ReplyDeleteAnd LOOK! If you take WELOVEFINE.COM, rearrange the letters, drop a few and add some more, you get MAGNIFICENT BASTARDS.
It all becomes clear!
I was considering getting tees from there. Now I definitely am.
ReplyDelete@ Jenny
ReplyDeleteMy local Wal Mart must really hate MLP because the section for it is like 4 of those hooks they hand on the walls. So essentially nothing. :P
But I will try when I am in Phoenix, thank you for the tip. :3
Why? Why! I already have six of their t-shirts and two prints. Don't you have enough of my money already? How much more shall...oh, screw it. I'm off to the site and look for more swag.
ReplyDeleteAll the pandering, marketing gimmicks and cool designs in the world will not make me drop $25 per shirt. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteOnce they stop being overpriced, if ever, I will gladly buy from them, blindbag pony or no.
They have a number of shirts I'd love, but the prices are just outrageous. $20 is the absolute maximum I would pay, and even then I wouldn't feel good about it. But $25 just seems like throwing money away and I can't bring myself to do it.
Sorry it needs to be at least one blind bag thrown in with each order as some kind of special. I'm not rich, and three items from WeLoveFine, no matter how small, for ONE random blind bag pony is just too much. I'll continue keeping a look out for the toys, and also for any McDonald's ones coming up...
ReplyDeleteI don't have 75 bucks to burn.
I love them, but that is ridiculous.
Sorry WeLoveFine, I'll need a better deal then that.
I think the blind bag pony is supposed to viewed as a complementary "cherry on the top" rather than as your main encitement for buying shirts. As for the price of the shirt: well, limited edition always tends to be somewhat pricier than mass market edition, due to different production costs. And they are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteA pretty cool thing to do for the brony customers. That being said, I'm not dying to buy three shirts just to get one blind bag pony. Still, a nice gift non the less for those more frequent shoppers of the site.
ReplyDeleteGoddamn, every time I order something a week later they add some cool shipping item or discount. If y'all ever want something else cool with your orders just tell me a week in advance so I can order. :c
ReplyDeleteIm with the masses. Ive said this many times before here on EqD, and on Twitter, but as awesome as some of the WLF designs are, 25 dollars for a T-Shirt is WAAAAYYYYY too much. If it was $20 AFTER shipping, Id consider it, but honestly any shirt more than $15 just isnt worth it.
ReplyDeleteHow about instead of adding a 2 blindbag for the purchase of THREE F'ing shirts at 25 bucks, how about free shipping to save $10, or how about buy 2 and get the 3rd free or even half off? Personally, I think they should atleast make a bundle deal like 2 shirts for $40 or something. I could do that. But This is a TERRIBLE promotion. Calling it a free gift is an insult, and only a bullet point strategy. Anyone who spends 75+ dollars on their products and think this 2 dollar pony is a nice gift from them is a damn fool.
The fact that you guys at EqD like this and think this is a good move have clearly been brainwashed or are just blinded by pony love and not looking at logic. This deal is essentially spend $75 and we give you $2 back.
