ToyWiz.com is running a Friendship is Magic fan art contest over on their Facebook page. All you need to do is create some pony art and toss it into their submitter over here (After clicking like). The winners will receive a new pony toy from the upcoming lineup being released later in February.
So go draw some pony! All of the specific rules can be found underneath their primary post header here.

New pony toys? I hope Derpy is part of that!
ReplyDeleteinb4 they get swamped
ReplyDeleteGOD I WISH I COULD DRAW
ReplyDeleteWell poo. I cant draw worth bananas.
ReplyDeleteTotally thought this post was gonna be Shed.mov.
ReplyDeleteThus should be good. The community has produced masterpieces before. If only i could draw. :-/
ReplyDeleteI pity the folks who have to go through all the images...
ReplyDeletethey are in for a surprise when they get our art.
ReplyDelete@Tyranoman
ReplyDeleteHa!
I might if it last til Sunday
I have the feeling the next line of toys is probably going to disappoint many Bronies who set their hopes really high for certain toys being released. lol But we'll see.
ReplyDeleteHope they get a lot of entries. I can agree with Ravens, I don't envy the guys who have to sort through all the entries either. :P
Some poor kids are going to try their best only to get their art blown away by people like JJ and PixelKitties.
ReplyDeleteThis* Dam phone autocorrect...
ReplyDeleteWell I can't draw for crap... but oh man they are going to be flooded
ReplyDeleteSadly I can't draw...
ReplyDeleteOh well, I'll settle for seeing the art other people make.
I'm gonna take a wild guess here but I think this contest is meant for kids guys.
ReplyDeleteThough technically it doesn't give an age restriction for the contestants so I guess bronies are game too.
I mean voting on a poll that's obviously intended only for children to vote on is one thing (after all it was just so we could get a pony mareathon that both kids and us would enjoy) but this just feels like literally stealing a toy from a child.
Anyway that's just my opinion, I may be completely wrong for all I know.
Please leave it to the kids to have the toys, I'm begging you
ReplyDelete@NoXogz
ReplyDeleteWell, the Facebook page says "Love and tolerate this page to enter our My Little Pony Fan Art Contest!"
I don't think the target demographic knows about our motto of Love and Tolerate.
"Create some art, and we'll give you toys!"
ReplyDeleteThey have no idea what we are capable of.
@Octavia
ReplyDeleteThe toys have always disappointed me with their horrible inaccuracy. If Hasbro licensed FIM to a high-quality figurine maker...I'd be broke.
Inb4 floods of derogate art
ReplyDelete@MyBoyJ
ReplyDeleteThe kids may not know it but ToyWiz.com marketing department sure does.
And lets face it "Love and Tolerate this page to enter" is a damn good motto for a contest entry.
Anyways, as I said I may be wrong for all I know.
*derpy freaking autocorrect
ReplyDeleteOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSH!!!!!! YAYAYAYYAYAYAYY!!!! WOOHOO definitely enterin! good luck y'all!
ReplyDelete@Leonstia I wouldn't worry to much about that. Contests usually have a screening process.
ReplyDeleteit looks like an RC pony.
ReplyDeleteHaha, 5 bucks there's some poor art judge over there who has no idea bronies exist. Sitting there baffled at the apparent 5 year old Da Vinci's who give their entries.
ReplyDeleteThen suddenly a flood of R34 pics comes into his inbox.
"Lets see what the kids dre.. oh... OH GOD NO!"
Yeah let's leave this one to the kids. You know, the people who would actually play with the toys.
ReplyDeleteDue to the fact I've decided my drawing crises the boundary of possible Grimdarkness, I may or may not enter my current sketch.
ReplyDeleteMostly cause I don't think you guys want a jet black Alicorn Prince with a fire colored mane
Takling about drawings, what happened to that animator that requested OCs for his/her work?
ReplyDeleteOh an none of you steal that idea, I have copyrighted that information to some documents
ReplyDeleteEnter chell win big prizes and a chance to see her as a background pony (read a better life through science and ponies to understand my plan)
ReplyDeletePoor kids . . .
ReplyDeleteHmm, fandom with one of the most talented digital artists on the internet?
ReplyDeleteprizes include a toy that will be given to them well ahead of time of the actual release?
recognition of your art from toywiz, and by extension hasbro?
this contest is gonna be CRAAAAAAAAZY.
Enter chell win big prizes and a chance to see her as a background pony (read a better life through science and ponies to understand my plan)
ReplyDelete@Adrian Brony
ReplyDelete*fandom with some of the most talented artists.
I feel sorry for any little kids that hope to win this contest.
ReplyDeleteDisregard intended target age/gender group, acquire toy ponies?
ReplyDelete@Beta-Carotene
ReplyDeletemy guess? at least one person on the team just happens to be not utterly disgusted by clop, and they are letting him do the screening.
We gotta get a Spitfire on the line-up!
ReplyDeleteC'mon, boys, show those Hasbro squares what for!
Anyone notice the "Must be 18 or older, or over 13 with parent's permission." part of the rules? This IS for us.
ReplyDeleteUh... all contests have that stipulation in their rules.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I feel sad for all the little girls out there that are sending in art right now hoping to win. There's gotta be plenty of them with some real skill, but how many of them are old enough and experienced enough to match some of the fanart the bronies are going to send in?
Lol maybe ill enter to.
ReplyDeleteHey! I'm so glad y'all are into this. You DO have talented artists! One thing to clarify - we aren't giving away a pony ahead of release. We can't. The contest ends around the next date we've got from Hasbro, so it will be a new release. I *wish* we could do early releases! But I don't want to disappoint anyone.
ReplyDeleteEveryone should submit Derpy so they make a Derpy Doll!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell it does say that it's for 13 and over so I don't think the kids will be participating in this one. c:
ReplyDeleteThey already released this line in Finland, I got a Twilight Sparkle last week at Sokos (a department store) in Helsinki. They only new sets I saw had the mane six with the suitcase and pets and a Celestia, Twilight and Spike set. The colors were still off in the new sets.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one unable to see any poll? It tells me to vote on my favorite, but it says there are no entries found.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not because I'm Canadian. :c
@Coryl So many entries! You guys sent a TON in last night, and I think that's why the poll is not working. It's okay though, the images are in and I'll see if I can get it to let them start showing up!
ReplyDelete@Bebs *tries to draw a sad, shaky little stick figure.. which promptly bursts into flames and burns his house down* I can't do arts. :C
ReplyDeleteHonestly now, should you even acknowledge this? Can't we leave something for the children? There's one thing with donating for charities like child's play and red cross, then there's another thing when entering these contest for lulz or want everyone to notice the huge fanbase. Do you guys really want non-fans to think we just do absolute anything for ponies, no matter what?
ReplyDelete@DKen2021 *tilts head sideways and blinks at you in confusion* Well, yeah... that's the whole point of being insane fanatics, ain't it?
ReplyDeleteI mean, that's why I'm here anyway.
With enough fanatics I can raise an army! >:D
