But I have absolutely no respect for Scientology, and not all of it is because I consider the beliefs to be absolutely nutty. Being nutty is one thing. Being frauds is another. I saw one of their "auditing" sessions being set up in a mall and couldn't help but marvel at how many people would pay good money just to be lied to by phony science.

ReplyDeleteWhile I don't share your beliefs, as long as you respect mine and don't use yours to interfere with my life, or as an excuse to do unspeakably horrific acts, then I have no problem with you believing whatever you like.
I have no problems with Scientologists. I DO have a few problems with the way the CoS sometimes acts, though. But I could say that about any organized religion. Individual members are fine, in my book. I'll judge them on an individual basis, as I get to know them, like I do with everyone else.
