I submitted this one.
ReplyDeleteOooh. That could be a problem...I'm usually out the door by that time.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely wonderful :)
ReplyDeleteSweet I can actually watch it on tv now!
ReplyDeleteAnd many Sleep Deficits were shrunk.
ReplyDeleteUhh... Now I gotta waste my newfound saturday mornings sleeping. This sucks for all night livestreams
ReplyDeleteThat's 9pm for us Euros D: - So there will looong Saturdays in the future.
ReplyDeleteEh, it's not as if I sleep Friday night anyway...
ReplyDeleteNO! Now I can't watch ponies on my tv before my parents wake up. :( The life of a closet brony is a difficult one. :(
ReplyDelete18:00 in the evening for me, so I am fine with this change XD
ReplyDeleteGlad they put it in a better slot.
European minds -> blown away
ReplyDeleteWHYyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
WOO!
ReplyDeleteNeat!
ReplyDelete...
Wait no it isn't! It being on at 8:00 AM my time meant that I could see it on the television before my parents awoke. Now with this change my parents will already be awake. This is a problem because they'll take control of the television, preventing me from seeing the episode. (Whereas them seeing me watch it is no problem whatsoever.)
I'm not sure how to feel about this now.
@Weatherhoofspacially when you wait for the 1080p...
ReplyDeleteWell that stinks. We can't afford Hub since you need a huge channel package just to get it (wish you could just get only the channels you care about..) so now I have to wait till, what, 3pm or so to watch them? :/
ReplyDeleteFinally. I never did wake up in time to see them.
ReplyDeleteOh lawd, waiting another 3 hours for Pony, every second will make em itch.
ReplyDeleteThe Hub is probably trying to bring up ratings for its new shows. They know the Pony fans will follow to the new slot.
ReplyDeleteSo much for the morning lineup. Anyway, this is still a great time slot.
ReplyDeleteI'm torn between upset and happy. Mostly upset, though. I can't look forward to my weekly pony at noon if it doesn't even start until 1 pm!
ReplyDeleteHappy for you though, Seth. You need more sleep, as far as I can tell.
bah! now the streams wont be uploaded to youtube till the afternoon. No more 10am ponies? =(
ReplyDelete10am pacific
ReplyDeleteMakes mornings just that more exciting.
:O
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!!!!
Okay, I am fully egoistic on this, so before I squee more I want to say I understand the people who are angry at this time change. Believe, I have my share of outrageous time changes.
But for me, this is a great time. That's 7 pm here in Spain, which is a great time for me to tune in and watch the show. I hope those who bring us the streams are not too affected by this change.
The Hub shows G1 Transformers!? Why do I not have this network? (Well, you know other than the whole "no cable" thing)
ReplyDeleteSmile smile smile for no.1 in the charts anyone?
ReplyDeleteWell, it works for me, at least. Now I can get some more sleep, maybe even make a few of the livestreams.
ReplyDeleteOh, and AQUABATS! FINALLY!
Yesss! Now, when I work Saturdays, the livestream will be happening when I'm on lunch, instead of just after I leave for work!
ReplyDeleteCool, now I don't have to worry about sleeping too late. Every Friday since Return of Harmony Pt 1 (barring breaks) I have not been able to get any sleep, and at least once (Last Roundup) I slept through half the episode.
ReplyDelete@Alexaroth
ReplyDeleteYou and your lot have had it too easy for too long. Now is the rise of the late sleeping Americans! Our rule shall be glorious and eternal!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~~~~~~
@Eric Cramer
ReplyDeleteCool story, bro.
Anyways, looks like they're going back to the spring schedule? I remember last spring when I first started watching, they aired episodes at 1:30pm.
Cool, now I can actually get a bit more sleep before pony.
ReplyDeleteBut I liked the old time.
ReplyDeleteStill before work atleast
ReplyDeleteas someone who has faithfully woken up at a quarter to 7 every Saturday morning for ponies, i say that i welcome this change of schedule so hard that, years from now, your grandchildren's grandchildren will look back upon this day and say "damn, man, he welcomed that change of schedule"
ReplyDeleteIt's not so much that I'm complaining. It's just that the prior time slot allowed me to watch ponies and then get on with my day. Now...whatever. I'll find a way. I always find a way.
ReplyDeleteThank god now I don't need to wake up at 5:30 in the morning to watch it!
ReplyDeleteThat actually really sucks for me as I work every sat and I was able to watch it right before I had to head to work.
ReplyDeleteit's just an hour later right? works for me, always had to eat dinner a bit earlie than usual.
ReplyDeleteSounds like good news for a lot of American bronies! ...this puts it into the evening where I am.
ReplyDelete@LosKnoggos
ReplyDelete3 hours later, actually.
I can sleep in now on Saturdays. Thanks Hasbro!
ReplyDeleteNooo! It means that I won't get to see pony until Sunday in the UK, because it takes around 3 hours for the episode to get to 1080p meaning instead of it being around 6 or 7pm for pony it will be like 1 in the morning.
ReplyDeleteI am glad for those that this change benefits, and it would benefit me as well if I wanted to pay the ~$60 a month for cable to get the 3-4 channels I would watch.
ReplyDeleteNow the episodes are not going to be conveniently done uploading to YT when I get up, but with the new time slot the show could get more exposure and I can live with that trade.
It would be perfect, it it were four hours earlier.
ReplyDeleteA schedule change? And on the day of 1st birth?
ReplyDeleteyay
Huzzah!
ReplyDeleteI still have to get up at the same time for Dan Vs. :)
ReplyDeleteNo, now I have to wait even longer to watch te episode...
ReplyDeleteThat's absolutely perfect for West Coasters. Now I can watch the DC Nation block on Cartoon Network at 10:00 AM, then switch right to the Hub for ponies at 11!
ReplyDeleteyes! im on the east cost!!! now i can sleep 'till 1230 instead of 930
ReplyDeleteNooooo! I understand they want to boost their ratings for the other shows but noo! This is how I wake up on Saturdays I do not approve! Uhhh now how am I gonna watch this before my parents wake up! I guess I have to wait for YouTube but every second without ponies is horrible
ReplyDelete11PM Blog time, which is about 6pm British Time
ReplyDeleteSad Faic :C
Can some one translate this into GMT time?
ReplyDeletefor us Europeans.
Aw, I'm gonna miss getting up early on Saturdays :/ .
ReplyDelete"...that isn't way to early..."
ReplyDelete'too' not "to"
No! In the UK it used to air at 3pm, now it'll air around 7 or 8! I'll probably end up missing them now! Argh!
ReplyDeleteThat's 10 my time! Sweet!
ReplyDeleteCRAP CRAP CRAP. 9:00 was the perfect time, this makes things worse for me.
ReplyDeleteThat's... What? Six over in Britain?
ReplyDelete¬¬ Balls.
I'm okay with this I guess.
ReplyDeleteNoooo I used to be able to watch the episode live, then go to work! Now it airs while I'm at work? Good bye, days of glitchy streams and horrible commercials. You were... wait, this is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteHigh quality youtubes all the way for Grey! Ha-ho! 8D
BUT...BUT
ReplyDeleteI always start my Saturday mornings with MLP! :c
Eh, what is this in GMT +2?
ReplyDeletehttp://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/02/art-drawfriend-stuff-ponies-in-lengerie.html
ReplyDeleteOh man there goes staying up friday night tell the new ep :(
Also check out some of seth's best posting back in the day.
Oh thank smooze! It's not MLP streaming without 10 minutes of Strawberry Shortcake beforehand.
ReplyDeleteEhhh I don't really like this. Even though this doesn't really affect me since I got DVR.
ReplyDeleteOh no. I'm in Europe and that's really late!
ReplyDeleteWait...1:00PM EST is 10AM PST, Seth! Dammit, now new eps conflict with CN's DC Nation block on west coast! Argh!
ReplyDeleteSomething that I would suggest is that they play the new episode twice, one showing during the morning and another during the evening. That way, people can either stay up, or wait, and everybody is happy.
ReplyDelete@WizardWannabe Derped. 6pm in UK. Still sucks for me.
ReplyDeleteNot cool, I liked my tradition of waking up, making myself some coffee and watching the episode QQ
ReplyDeletenow we westcoasters can have episode watching parties without staying up all night or getting up way too early! AWESOME
ReplyDeleteUgh...9:00 worked pretty well for me. Gave me a reason to get up earlier on Saturdays. Ah well, noon it is then...
ReplyDelete@Raefire
ReplyDeleteYeah, Arizona is technically Mountain Time and is currently 2 hrs behind Eastern Time; it only matches Pacific during daylight savings (since they don't observe it).
Sleep? The Great and Powerful Seth doesn't sleep.
ReplyDeleteDepending on if I'm doing anything that day, that can get kind of inconvient, though I guess it's better than nothing.
ReplyDelete@Nintyuk
ReplyDeleteJust watch the Live Stream. It'll still be 6pm.
Yay I can sleep in more without worry of missing the episode!
ReplyDeletedamn, i wake up at one. and i cant watch it on tv. i need it on youtube earlier!
ReplyDelete@Z.wester
ReplyDelete18:00 = 6pm for GMT, UK.
On the second Sunday in March, east coast US time zone will go forward one hour for daylight savings, the UK time for FiM will then be 17:00 until after the last Sunday in March, when the UK engages daylight savings mode and the 18:00 time will be restored.
Really? That seems odd... I mean, I guess the network knows what its doing. 1 pm just seems like a strange time to premiere new episodes. However, with the Valentine's Day show doing as well as it did for the network, I don't foresee any doom in this change.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little pissed that the time-travel Twilight episode has been pushed a few more hours away from me though.
I CAN FINALLY GET SLEEP
ReplyDeleteSweet! Now I can go back to sleeping in on my mornings. I was never a morning person.
ReplyDeleteOf course, on mornings I slept in anyways, I just catch ponies on YouTube. Don't have Hub, won't junk up my comp with anything Apple related that doesn't come from Sweet Apple Acres.
I actually liked having a reason to wake up early...
ReplyDeleteAw man, I like to watch the episodes on YouTube first thing when I get up. Now I'll have to wait til later in the afternoon since that would be noon for me. Once I get a job and we upgrade to digital cable, then it'll be fine.
ReplyDeleteDamn in japan it's like 3am or something.
ReplyDeletehttp://images.4chan.org/mlp/src/1329597032942.png
ReplyDeleteThat's seth :3
(ăàČ çàČ )ăćœĄ┻━┻
ReplyDeleteI dont wanna wait so long for ponies!
@Harwick
ReplyDeleteIt's because Twilight was messing with the timeline is why the schedule slipped. We're already seeing the Paradox effects happening.
Twilight's changing the future, and so we're seeing the effects in the past.
Aww, but I liked that I could just turn on my DVR when I got up and could watch the show at my leisure while skipping commercials. Now will have to wait till later in the day. ;_;
ReplyDeleteDamn.. That means itll be like 2AM for me... >>;; Hate.
ReplyDeleteThis makes it 6PM UK, not a happy panda :(
ReplyDeleteWHEN IS THIS IN EUROPE!?
ReplyDeleteFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU...
ReplyDeleteDoh. I WOULD welcome this, being on the east coast, except Saturdays I work. Where it is now, I had just enough time to watch it, then run out the door. Now I won't be able to watch it.
ReplyDeleteWell, until the stream and downloads are available, that is. Still, I'll miss watching it when it first airs.
5PM local time was already late, now it's 8PM?
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOoooo.....
Well, this sucks, I already wait the entire saturday for new episodes, but now I could just as well not bother and wait for the recorded video on sunday.
ReplyDelete@Derpestia
ReplyDeleteNot that it really matters, but why would you link that? It's in the past. No one cares about the past.
YES NOW I CAN SLEEP
ReplyDeletewait... forget the schedule change, LOOK AT THAT 60'S SPIDERMAN
FORGET SLEEP I'M WAKING UP AT 8:30
I welcome this change. 10am was way too early for me on a Saturday. Whoo!
ReplyDeletebronies who don't sleep the night before are going to have problems staying awake now for sure.
ReplyDelete...unless they drink absurd amounts of coffee.
7PM in Sweden? Works for me ^^
ReplyDeleteOh shit, what will this mean for the ratings? Time slots are everything, unfortunately. It's lead to several good shows being cancelled due to low ratings.
ReplyDelete7PM in Europe?
ReplyDeleteEh, I can live with that. :D
Hmm... I wonder if HaxMega shouldn't pull all nighters anymore, but rather, start in the normal morning on Saturdays. Hmm...
ReplyDeleteSoo.... one hour up?
ReplyDeleteBleh. 11PM on my local time.
10:00 is actually a pretty good time slot in all honesty. THis is a little to late.
ReplyDelete6pm in the UK? Awesome. Can come home from the footie, then put the ponies on. YEEEAH
ReplyDelete@pell Add five or six hours to EST depending on where in Europe. So, 18:00 or 19:00.
ReplyDeleteThis very strange. I'd watch it even if it played at 4 in the morning, but I am not the target demographic.
If my Saturday morning cartoons got moved to the afternoon, back when I was six, when I'm expected to tag along during shopping or go to some class or visit, I'd be pissed. No fair! Who'd want to watch a bunch of dumb robot war cartoons?
5PM for The Netherlands fine by me
ReplyDelete@John
ReplyDeleteMaybe if you're in the CET zone, Europe has more than 1 time zone.
Gotta feel sorry for the aussies, used to be near midnight for them (again multiple zones), now it's early morning. Maybe they could have stayed up for a livestream at 01:00, but 04:00 is probably gonna piss them off.
for me its ok since it would be 5:00PM but i mean for all the other people its bad :( besides when i start the university maybe i wont be able to watch it :(
ReplyDeleteMuch better for me personally. Still, wonder why they'd change it... Seemed to be doing well at 10am... it got my sorry butt out of bed in the morning...
ReplyDeleteHoly shit, do ya'll not understand the significance of this?
ReplyDeleteTHEY. ARE. AIMING. AT. US.
Eh what? Time to get Dr Whooves in charge of the scheduling!
ReplyDeleteThis was never all that much of a problem for me. Being a college student myself, I'm used to being up at 7 during the week anyway. With this change, I can get a few extra sleep hours in, and still be able to see the show before I'm out the door for work.
ReplyDeleteThough I can see how some people could say that this would be too late, too.
So that's basically 7 pm here.
ReplyDeleteWell, the upside is that's a better time to watch the stream. The downside is I've got to wait till sunday for the youtube upload.
@mycutiemarkisagun You be trollin'. They can't aim at us, we're world wide.
ReplyDelete@Yojoe36
ReplyDeleteThis is perfect for me. My mum usually takes a bath right around pony-time, s making it two hours later is quite honestly THE BEST POSSIBLE THING.
Kids don't sleep in on Saturday Mornings.
ReplyDeleteAdults do.
WAKE UP YOU FOALS, Hasbro just made this show hangover-friendly! If this keeps up and they keep seeing that WE EXIST AND HAVE WALLETS, we might fuck around and get an OFFICIAL Pony Kart or something....
I usually like to get up and just watch the 1080p youtube uploads. I guess I'll have to wait now, or switch to watching streams. People say they love watching on stream, but I don't really get it. Lag.
ReplyDeleteAt first I was like C:
ReplyDeleteBut then I realized it's 11:00PM here, and I became like :C
Hmmm, this is an interesting turn of events. Part of me actually sees this as bad news. In america, 1pm is considered "daytime television" which is reserved for shows with low ratings. Of course that cant br since mlp just had a dramatic jump in ratings.
ReplyDeleteOf course, daytime weekend television is much different than weekday tv, but thats still for filler shows. But then again, maybe its different for kids tv.
Hmmmmm... another wait and see thing.
Wow they are really catering to the North American college-age demographic by moving the show back 3 hours.
ReplyDeleteMeetups for watching episodes as they are broadcasted are suddenly feasible!
Ponies at 7pm, then probably up on internet 9-10pm where I watch it.
ReplyDelete:/
@Flutteryay
ReplyDeleteThe ratings are far from low:
http://www.equestriadaily.com/2012/02/we-ponies-mare-thon-dominates-ratings.html
@mycutiemarkisagun
ReplyDeleteThey're moving the network's most popular show to a time slot where it's likely to be seen by more viewers. This has nothing to do with bronies specifically - we're still a minority demographic for the show.
@DeRockProject
ReplyDeleteThat used to be a problem, but its been mostly fixed.
Eh, for me this just means pony after dinner instead of pony before dinner. Bluh.
ReplyDeleteI haven't the slightest idea what prompted Hasbro to do this, but I don't really care. This is amazing and means I can FINALLY SLEEP IN ON SATURDAYS AGAIN. Yes!
ReplyDeleteCentral time and happy, here. I really like to sleep in on Saturdays. Getting up at 9 has especially been tough with chronic pain problems. Really sucked getting the wife upset because I couldn't get out of bed until 9:45.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it's moving. My health thanks The Hub. The episodes are great, but the mornings themselves are depressing and painful.
I can live with this. Eastern Europe Time it'll be 8 PM. Ok, that means catch the weekly stream, whereafter one can head out as usual, unless of course it's one of those stay-at-home-surfing-the-internet saturday evenings. Then re-watch the high quality upload on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteBut I live in the Netherlands.. Normally it starts around 4 o clock here. How late will it start then? :C
ReplyDelete17:00 GMT (18:00 CET) would be my guess from comments.
ReplyDeleteOnce you guys posted UTC/GMT and now we are back to several confusing usarian timezones? Nice :]
Btw, I admire teenage bronies who are not afraid to come clear at school or even college that they like MLP. I'm an older, independent person so I don't have to give a slightest *yay* about what people think, but for you guys, it can really be problematic. *brohoof*
Yes! Finally I can stop having to set 3 alarm clocks just to get myself up on Saturday!
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty cool. It was a constant battle to wake up at 15 to seven Saturdays, so this should alleviate some of that. Still, I'll kind of miss the routine, but that's just nostalgia talking.
ReplyDeleteSorry Europe bronies, looks like you'll be getting short end of this one.
@bestpony
ReplyDeleteAMERICA! that's why
wait do people in europe hate prime-time or something?! If FiM aired at 8 or 9pm here in the states I'd love it.
ReplyDeleteMeh, pony tiem will be 8pm here instead of 5pm. Now I'll have to wait longer for ponies, but this frees up my Saturdays even when I want to catch the livestreams. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, even though it's been answered it won't hurt to say it again. :P To those Europeans who can't time zone, it's 6pm GMT.
Ponies are growing up, I guess. The Hub finally recognizes that a good portion of their demographic are older and probably hate getting up that early, and it doesn't matter what time they air the episode, the bronies will still follow suit.
ReplyDelete@Maquabra
ReplyDeleteActually, imo, coming out in college is much easier. Its easier to avoid undesirable groups and most people tend to mind their own business.
Jr high and high schoolers tend to be the invasive dick-bags.
Of course, im only ever in the computer science and engineering parts of the school, so maybe i have tunnel vision.
I litterally burst out laughing when I read "way too early". I am east coast and thought it meant 11 was too early. I know I'm lazy but c'mon lol. I can see how pacific would be too early though.
ReplyDelete@Beatfox
ReplyDeleteKids don't get up early on Saturday for cartoons anymore? That's sad. I remember getting up to watch Mega Man (with our own Claire Corlett's dad as the Blue Bomber) among other shows, though I can't remember if that show was specifically Saturday morning or not.
As far as the schedule change, I approve the move. Now I can sleep in a bit on Saturday (it would air at noon here).
@TengenFlare
ReplyDeleteSome Bronies might be heading out with their friends or family at the time the stream airs. Then again, what better way to spread the love of friendship than by pulling out a laptop in the middle of a gathering and watch the newest episode with everyone present?
Well, now I have to hope to catch a youtube upload of the ep if I want to see it same day. That will also push my ep recaps back significantly, I might have to do them on Sunday.
ReplyDeletehttp://chimicherrychonga.blogspot.com
6PM GMT?
ReplyDeleteSaturdays just got more interesting. I wonder if bronystate (and the others) will alter their schedules now?
@Insomnia
ReplyDeleteIm actually traveling and staying in an exchange program in germany this summer. I wonder if I could use this idea to convert the family im with to becoming bronies! :O
My prayers have been answered. This means I can actually watch the show when I'm completely alert now. Thank you Celestia!
ReplyDeleteThere's one TINSY TINY problem: I watch everything on YouTube. By having it air later, it gets on YouTube later. Oh well, whatever pleases the majority. (I never liked waking up at 8:30 in the morning to livestream episodes anyway)
ReplyDeleteFor me it's 10 in the morning but it's still a hell of a lot better
ReplyDelete@TengenFlare
ReplyDeleteDefinitely, although being too pushy may cause a backlash. Then again, I guess the European Brony population might start to increase over time due to this. This must have been Hasbro's intention all along... Cater to US Bronies and at the same time subject Europeans to ponies in far greater amounts, while not paying for airing at Primtime. Brilliant!
Have mercy on east asian bronies!
ReplyDelete6AM to 3PM, That's a long Saturday morning! I remember all the shows winding down by noon when I was younger...
ReplyDeleteWill make it easier for me to catch the streams. Will make it harder for me to catch the eps on YT. But hey. =3 Pony in the afternoon!
God dangit. Well, there goes me catching it on the TV anymore. :/
ReplyDeleteBut hey, its still on YouTube! :D
I would be cheery about this but watching ponies early in the morning is just magic (no pun intended) especially when they aired new episodes at 6 am, oh god it was like Christmas morning every Saturday! Now I'm going to hold off daily plans until after 1 pm because that's honestly when I'm the busiest.
ReplyDeleteNo.....
ReplyDelete10AM was perfect because I can't get on until 9, so I didn't miss the beginning... but I have art class at 1... D:
Eh, 7 o clock at night here then. That's not too bad
ReplyDeleteDamn it, now I won't get to watch the episodes until the next day.
ReplyDeleteAargh.
Well... I guess it doesn't really make a difference. I live on the east coast anyway, so 10 vs. 1... I'm up at either time.
ReplyDeleteOh thank god, now I can get some sleep. (West Coast)
ReplyDeleteGood, I can finally sleep in on saturdays.
ReplyDeleteThis is the Hub saying buck you Europe
ReplyDeleteRemember when it aired around this time on FRIDAYS.
ReplyDeleteNoooo I work nights and this is past my bedtime lol. Oh well Saturdays'll be tired nights at work I guess lol.
ReplyDeleteWell that'll be the end of being able to watch the episodes live for me.
ReplyDeleteThank God, I can start partying on Fridays again.
ReplyDelete@Topsy Kretts
ReplyDeleteI know your pain. 1 p.m on east coast=4 a.m in Malaysia. Poor Malaysian bronies. :(
Anyway, I'm on the West Coast, so this is absolutely perfect for me. Thank you, Hasbro!
Wait... *does the math for the Alaska time zone* 1...12...11..10..
ReplyDelete9 AM?
...
HOLY CRAP!! I CAN WATCH THE EPISODES LIVE AGAIN!!! *spends next few hours squealing for joy*
Hrm... this makes things a bit more awkward for me here in the UK. Now it's on early evening here, so getting at streams may get difficult. Well Damn.
ReplyDeleteHrm... this makes things a bit more awkward for me here in the UK. Now it's on early evening here, so getting at streams may get difficult. Well Damn.
ReplyDelete10AM PST?
ReplyDeleteEh. Us Canadians don't have Hub channel. So...
Yeah this will murder the streams, being EU primetime.
ReplyDeleteGuess I'll have to wait until Sunday morning for pony. Will certainly make Saturday night seem a lot longer at the research centre.
Yeah this will murder the streams, being EU primetime.
ReplyDeleteGuess I'll have to wait until Sunday morning for pony. Will certainly make Saturday night seem a lot longer at the research centre.
For all the Central Europeans out there, this should clarify the schedule and daylight savings mess a bit:
ReplyDelete2012-02-18 10:00 EST = 15:00 UTC = 16:00 CET A Friend in Deed
2012-02-25 No new episode!
2012-03-03 13:00 EST = 18:00 UTC = 19:00 CET Putting Your Hoof Down
2012-03-10 13:00 EST = 18:00 UTC = 19:00 CET It's About Time
2012-03-17 13:00 EDT = 17:00 UTC = 18:00 CET Dragon Quest
2012-03-24 13:00 EDT = 17:00 UTC = 18:00 CET
2012-04-01 13:00 EDT = 17:00 UTC = 19:00 CEST
2012-04-08 13:00 EDT = 17:00 UTC = 19:00 CEST
Seems smart from a ratings standpoint. I mean do kids get up that early on a Saturday morning? (10am EST, 7am PST)
ReplyDelete1pm EST is perfect for American viewers. Sorry for the international fans who might be inconvinenced.
Seeing as I'm in the Netherlands... I might be able to catch a livestream or two.
ReplyDeleteSo, when I'm at work.
ReplyDeleteFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU....
aw man! I live on the west coast, but I work on saturdays! poo. now I can't watch them until I get home.
ReplyDeleteWords cannot express how ridiculously excited I am about this.
ReplyDelete...
ReplyDeleteThis new airtime would be awesome because it happens in my free time (the current one doesn't, and I'm always end up missing the chapter)
the problem is that this also happens at a time my internet connection doesn't seem to work so well. (I dunno why)
This also majorly messes up my schedule, but I guess I can't really complain and this change favors those who are actually able to support the show (and the Hub).
I'll have to deal with it. *sigh and shrug*
@James Corck
ReplyDeleteFINALLY A SPANISH BRONY!!!!
pensĂ© que era el Ășnico casi xDD
I wish they would air Dan Vs right after MLP. Seems like the perfect fit oddly enough.
ReplyDeleteCrap, this really really sucks. it's too late in the day. by that time I have to be out and running errands. I'm going to miss the opening broadcast of ponies :(
ReplyDeleteI saw this and thought "Oh, I suppose this will be great."
ReplyDeleteThen I did the math on what time it will be here.
The answer? Ridiculously early.
5:30 a.m.
No more livestreams for me!
I, for one, welcome our new time slot overlords
ReplyDeleteIt's obvious why they made this change, Cartoon Network is beginning their new programming block "DC Nation" on March 3rd at 10:00 AM (the old MLP time slot), and wanting to avoid competition since the Hub knows of the bronydoms existence and the fact that said audience is normally into comic books and comic book shows and movies, the Hub changed it's schedule so CN can get ratings for it's target audiences
That all makes sense, right?
Awh man. I liked it early. I would wake up at 9:00 AM just to watch ponies.
ReplyDeleteThat kinda sucks for me here in Japan.
ReplyDeleteGuess I won't be watching with you guys anymore on stream :( I'll just catch the episode when I wake up Sunday. It used to start at the perfect time of Midnight.
Yay! This is much better than waking up before 7 in the morning!
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. But That's when n I'm at work.
ReplyDeleteAussie brony here, looks like I can't watch livestreams any more. 2am was one thing, 5am is quite another.
ReplyDeleteTo everyone bitching from Europe, ponies just moved from 2am to 5am for me, and a lot of other Aussie bronies. Get some perspective
ReplyDeleteAw I Am usually out running errands or on my way to work at that time.
ReplyDeleteOh well, more of an excuse to buy the episodes from iTunes!
THANK GOD I CAN SLEEP!
ReplyDeleteNO NOW I HAVE LONGER I LIKED WAKING UP EARLY FOR MY EPISODES.
ReplyDeleteFor the record, 10am is not "way too early" if you're not the totally lazy type who sleeps in till noon.
ReplyDeleteWhen it was at 7am my time, I could relax and watch the episode before going to work as I do every Saturday.
ReplyDeleteWhen it changed to 8am my time, I initially despaired, but soon discovered methods of streaming the new episode to my iPhone, so I could watch it while on the bus.
With this latest change, the new episodes will air at 11am my time, at which point I am firmly entrenched at work. Needless to say, this change makes me a sad pony.
Damn it. I'll be one of those unlucky bronies at work when they air.
ReplyDeleteWhelp, that's it for Livestreams for me.
ReplyDeleteCrap, that's 3AM here in Tokyo.
ReplyDeleteWell this just sucks for me...
ReplyDeleteI'm a night owl, I always say up till dawn. If my mom wasn't home or was home but still asleep and if I was still up, I'd catch the live stream.
VERY rarely am I ever up at 11am.
Ah well, most of the new episodes I end up missing the live stream and catch it on Youtube anyways. I like it this way better in a way because then I can watch it on my own time.
I think Hasbro decided to do this in favor of their adult viewers who aren't up that early. I mean, its clear they know about us, proof being the the high adult viewership from the recent mare-a-thon and Toy-r-us toys coming this fall.
