Normally I would wait for Welovefine to get a few more shirts up before posting a compilation set, but fans of the music ponies will probably get a kick out of this one. As most of you know, Hasbro has to approve the shirts put up on Welovefine before they can be sold, and it looks like Octavia managed to get through that little blockade without any problems... with her fanon name.
So, welcome Octavia to the official canon herd I suppose!

Hmm... I wonder how interconnected Hasbro/The Hub are from Welovefine. Perhaps Welovefine made the Octavia shirt autonomously from them. I guess it still counts as canon.

ReplyDeleteThis just doesn't make sense... they are ok with WeLoveFine selling a shirt with Derpy's name on it, but they edit her out of Last Roundup. And someone just posted on Ponychan that Hub On Demand is still distributing the original un-edited episode.

EqD, why why why don't you fact check? Every outlandish declaration you make skews the fans' perception of reality.
ReplyDeleteHasbro licenses these shirts, but they do not originate them. Shirts like this one of Rorschach or this one stating Rainbow Dash is a Wonderbolt originate from the fans, not Hasbro. Hasbro licenses them to be sold, but to what extent they have any non-fan implications is unknown.

Regardless of origin, Hasbro ultimately gave the green-light.
