Oh Nintendo, I don't know if it was intended, but that sure is a similar model to a specific new line of pony. I'm going to catch one and call it... Applejack.
Outside of playing the games, I haven't done a whole lot of pokemon digging. Apparently this is going to be one of those event legendaries released online and at various stores as an exclusive. It's also a leak, so no telling where exactly it will show up! Hopefully you poke-fans out there can get your hands on one!
Update: Apparently this dude is pretty old! Shows how much I follow pokemon these days!

New Pokemon! What number is that...? 1300?
ReplyDeleteI hope the Shiny version has rainbow colours o3o
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get a Keldeo, though I'm not sure what I'd name it, something pony related of course!
ReplyDeleteNew Pokemon, probably a normal type unlike, Radidash, and Ponyta.
ReplyDeleteIf Seth was a pokemon, he'd be a Slowpoke.
ReplyDeleteThis pokemon has been known about FOR AGES.
Lolwut
ReplyDeleteSorry Seth, but Keldeo (this pokemon) can't be nicknamed, because is an event-only pokemon (and no shiny version either)

ReplyDelete@KTS
ReplyDeleteKeldeo is actually a Water/fighting type (i know, weird)
nevermind im stupid ive seen this before
ReplyDeleteThis pokemon isn't really a pony pokemon -- it was created /before/ MLP aired -- it was discovered in the code of Pokemon Black and White in Japan in September 2010. So not an MLP reference.
ReplyDelete@Impious
ReplyDelete...so?
i haven't heard of it, mostly cause i, like Seth, don't keep up with news.
now, on the other hoof, i've played thousands of hours of Pokemon.
Not at all a new Pokemon, actually.
ReplyDeleteKaledo, a legendary Water/Fighting type.
And while it does bear a striking resemblance to some awesome ponies, it's hardly a shoutout to Hasbro; it's been around way too long.
That's Keldeo. It's not new, or leaked. We've known about it, and yes, it looks like a Pony~
ReplyDeleteThe Shiny one is Green instead of Blue. Most people have already agreed on calling it Lyra.
ReplyDeleteFunilly enough Keldeo was created before Friendship is Magic was released.
And for Pokemon Fans who know more, this thing seems almost certain OU. Possibly Uber, Sub/Calm Mind makes this thing very hard to take down, and Water Fighting has a very good coverage. Plus it's Unique Skill is basically a fighting Psyshock, so you can run a full Special Set and still hit that annoying Blissey and take it out in one... just be cautious of Jellicent and you will rock with it.
I'm not seeing it (if anything the snout reminds me of a moose). Also, they've only been basing pokemon on real life animals for 10+ years or so. I see no correlation.
ReplyDeleteAbout time Keldeo came up for grabs. Though I haven't picked up my copy of White in weeks, so I might just wind up stowing it away on my PC for who knows how long.
ReplyDeleteAccording to serebii.net, its name is Keldeo, #647. Water/Fighting type.
ReplyDeleteIf I manage to get one, I'll probably name it SHOOBEDOO. Because all I can think of when combining ponies & water is sea ponies.
In This Article, fans calling something a reference for the slightest resemblance.
ReplyDeleteThis is not a reference -- this pokemon has been in the pokedex since before bronies. Very very easily before. Dangit seth.
ReplyDeleteHis special talent is having hydrocephalus
ReplyDeleteIt's a BLANKFLANK!
ReplyDeletePLOT SHOT!
ReplyDeleteSETH, Y U NO SAUCY LINK?
;)
Am I weird if I knew about this pokemon two months ago? Found it while surfing the pokemon wiki...
ReplyDeleteHmmm...
ReplyDeletePonies existed 10/10/2010...
Pokemon Black and White came out on 9/18/2010 in Japan. Even though Keldeo is only now being acknowledged by Nintendo as an 'official' Pokemon, it's existed in the game's code ever since the game first came out, so nah - Keldeo came just barely before Ponies.
It IS an interesting similarity, though! I've been looking forward to Keldeo, too. Ponies made me look forward to it even more, haha.
The only thing leak-ish about this is that we're not supposed to know that Keldeo's being officially revealed by Nintendo yet. Everyone in the Pokemon community already knows it exists, and have known for well over a year. =P
@Graphite
ReplyDelete>downloadable Pokémon
>you will not be able to name it
I've known about Keldeo for nearly a year now. Where've you been?
ReplyDeletePokemon is ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteSometimes you need to let something die. That is a great example. I mean two pokemon are ice cream and a garbage bag.
Nintendo is running out of ideas. Let pokemoon die with what respect it still holds.
This was around when Pokemon Black and White were released. Not pony related.
ReplyDeleteThis was actually well known for a while, this is one of those Pokemon that Nintendo doesn't recognize as official for a bit, but yes, as it was mentioned, the data was there when Black & White was officially released.
ReplyDeleteExcept pokemon continues to make millions, and there are still awesome ass pokemon. Need I show you Hydreigon, or Scrafty?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the worst possible thing you couldn't make in the pony creator on DeviantART. How awful looking.
ReplyDeleteim calling mine pipsqueak xD
ReplyDeleteIs this one's number less than or equal to 151?
ReplyDeleteNo.
OK, then I don't care about it.
I think Vanilluxe is AWESOME. Mine secured me so many surprise victories in the Wifi tournament a while back. No one expected a blisteringly-fast Ice Beam after fighting through a Trick Room team. Heh.
ReplyDeleteAnd Hydreigon is AWESOME, and Scrafty can be pretty terrifying to come up against.
I do hate Garbodor with a passion... But it doesn't ruin the series by any means.
...
Anyone else here that would have something Pokemon-related as a cutie mark?
But... but that thing is wretched looking :O
ReplyDelete@8bitbleepbleep
ReplyDeleteFunnily enough, so's mine. My special talent is not being able to join the military because of it and being jealous of those who can.
If that thing can fly, I might just ragequit.
Not everything is related to MLP...
ReplyDeleteAlso, black and white are great games.
@ Shadow heart
Yeah, because pokemon based on mimes, magnets and sludge were not silly at all. Anyone complaining that the new pokemon are worse than the old ones are just being wierdly nostalgic.
@Impious
ReplyDeletelol, this pretty much sums up this post.
...unless seth be trollin'...
This guy was my avatar on Pony Central for awhile, this ain't news. As others have said he's been around since i think before EQD.
ReplyDeleteI prefer this fan picture, when he's drawn well he's my favorite MW poke: http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2010/332/b/9/pkmn___keldeo_by_feriowind-d33u90s.jpg
Sethisto, if it doesn't have a reliable source then it's hard not to doubt it. It's just like how our "valuable" source told us that Tom Cruise is a brony.
ReplyDeletePokémon Black and White was/were in development before MLPFiM came out, and the game was released in Japan on September 18, 2010. It didn't come to the U.S. until March 6, 2011.
ReplyDeleteImplying that some Generation 1 pokémon weren't unoriginal or crappily designed... ooookay. Sure whatever.
ReplyDeleteDitto
Koffing/Weezing
Diglett/Dugtrio
Voltorb/Electrode
Grimer/Muk
Onix
Staryu/Starmie
I was actually wondering if any Bronies were ever going to mention Keledo looking bizarrely G4-ish. I thought it was just me.
ReplyDeleteI've been pretty excited for this little guy, and can't wait for the event to finally drop. I like the entire Musketeer family he's from, but I always liked Keledo best. I hope it'll be a catching event, not just traded to your game. I want to name him D'artagnan
@Ki
I love everything you just said. Let's be best friends forever?
Yeah. Keldeo. Along with Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion, it makes up the Musketeer Quartet. Known about them for quite a while. Keldeo was inspired by the "newbie" image that d'Artagnan is known for. Like how Cobalion was inspired by Athos, Terrakion by Porthos, and Virizion by Aramis.
ReplyDeleteNot meant to look/is not pony-related. They're Gen 5 Pokemon so they're not new. Looks like Nintendo's finally getting around to officially recognizing it so the Quartet can be completely official. They precede FiM. Sorry, Seth.
@derp this is legit... It has been for a while.
ReplyDeleteJust a heads up Seth, people have known about this legendary and another one since B&W were released last year. They're both in the game code for B&W and are currently only attainable through hacking. I believe this one's name is Keldo and rounds off the the trio of legendaries that are rough references to the three musketeers. Until now Nintendo had not officially announced Keldo's existence.
ReplyDeleteSo no, it has nothing to do with MLP at all. Considering the release date for the games, he was conceived long before ponies hit the airwaves.
@Ki : I rather like this generation of Pokemon more so than gens 2-4 it feels like a return to the simplistic designs of the original 151. I hadn't played any of them since the RB&Y days and I was very pleased with the experience I got.
Hey bronies, let's enjoy ALL of the pokemon gens! *prepares for shitstorm*
ReplyDeleteAnyway too bad I can't name it. Might have gone for Pinkie Pie (reminds me of her a little). Oh well. I do hope that thing becomes OU or Uber. I would rather not have to go up against it in a tournament. I can't even handle the genies or the other three deer things. By the way Seth, thank you for reminding me to get back to my team. I'm falling way behind schedule on that.
My personal favorite Pokémon are Blaziken and Electivire. Up until Black and White I could name all 490+ Pokémon in the national dex, and for a while I could say the same about the new Unove Pokémon. I'll still buy whatever games come out, but I've sort of lost interest in the series now that the TV show is insisting that Ash is still ten DESPITE HAVING COMPETED IN FOUR TOURNAMENTS THAT ONLY OCCUR ONCE A YEAR FIVE IF YOU COUNT ORANGE ISLANDS AND ALSO ACKNOWLEDGING NO LESS THAN THREE TIMES THAT A YEAR HAS PASSED IN THEIR WORLD.
ReplyDeleteRant over. For anyone else who feels the need for accuracy, take note: to achieve the "é" character, hold ALT and press 1 3 0.
My opinion is that the new pokémon sucks.
ReplyDeletePokémon gold, silver, crystal and FRLG was the best and DP well..... Suck'd
As it is, Trubbish and Garbodor are the only Pokémon I can genuinely say I don't like. The ice cream things annoy me slightly, but mostly just because of their expressions. I know it's supposed to look like it's melty, but I say it makes it look lecherous.
ReplyDeleteseth, why the hell are you posting a pokemon that existed before mlp and is on every pokemon wiki calling it an "unconfirmed leak"? even ignoring the fact the game existed before mlp an unconfirmed leak not directly pony related is "unprofessional".
ReplyDeleteanyway is worst than random generated ponies from pony creator.
after 2° generation pokemon are meh.( only a few are good)
The garbage pokemon and the ice cream pokemon are the only ones I genuinely dislike then again it's been eons since I played any pokemon game
ReplyDeletei think Seth got parasprited
ReplyDeletepoor sethy :(
What I think they should do, right, is leave off introducing new Pokémon for a while and try to do new things with the games themselves. They could take a cue from the absurd popularity of the Mystery Dungeon games, for instance. Can you imagine how many people would buy a game that combined PMD's amazing story with, say, the graphics of PokéPark Wii? I bet you anything it would sell better than the last three generations combined.
ReplyDeleteSaw this >/)< facehooved, laughed a bit. Read comments.
ReplyDelete@Killsteal_WolfI doubt it would be Uber cause it desn't really have good move coverage
ReplyDeleteThought I went to serebii instead of EqD for a second there. XD Two of my most favorite obsessions in one website? DOUBLE THE AWESOME
ReplyDelete@Soph93
ReplyDeleteI think it's supposed to be a joke, you know all the other joke posts that we have seen every then and now, don't take it so serious
Hmm, I've been so busy ranting that I've not noticed that people are insulting Keldeo. It's supposed to be based of D'Artagnan from the Three muskateers. The big crest-thingy is supposed to be one of those hats with the big poofy feathers in it.
ReplyDeleteYou do really that it's a colt do you?
ReplyDeleteKeldo was unofficially leaked when everyone was datamining the game...
ReplyDelete@KTS
ReplyDeleteActually he's water/fighting, to go along with the /fighting trend of the musketeer trio.
Did you NOT remember that picture I sent you by Raizy/Chu? Who basically pointed out that this Pokemon looked like a character from My Little Pony?
ReplyDeleteIt was a few months ago, in the fandrawn stuff.
Keldeo is most likely based on a combination of the legend of the kelpie, a supernatural water horse that sometimes appeared as a lost pony, and a unicorn. Keldeo may also be inspired by the character of d'Artagnan from the novel The Three Musketeers. Like d'Artagnan, it is the latest and youngest addition to the group. Keldeo's tail also resembles d'Artagnan's trademark feathered cap.
ReplyDeleteKeldeo's name is probably derived from kelda, which means 'spring' in Old Norse, or kelpie, a water horse from Celtic folklore and the word rodeo, a sport involving skills with horses, cows and other livestock.
Generally most signs point to it being based on Kelpie and d'Artagnan
Oh and I pulled that info from bulbapedia btw.
ReplyDelete@mattwhite924 You're missing out on some other awesome Pokémon!
ReplyDelete@brilliantspecter That's not the issue people have. Sure, most of the new pokemon are very good in terms of gameplay- movesets, abilities, stats and EVs, etc. No one is doubting that the gameplay of the series has vastly improved. The issue is the DESIGN.
ReplyDeleteTHE GOD AWFUL DESIGN.
Seriously, most of the new pokemon look like they were created by a three old. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Gens were awesome. 4th was very dodgy, although there where some good ones in there (Mainly the starters, legendaries, and a handful of others). 5th...god, I want to throw up when I look at it.
Not even the anime was safe, what with all the awesome voice actors we grew up with being chucked out and replaced with either deep monotone drawls or super squeaky annoying shrieks. Urgh.
Sorry for the rant, but I take my childhood memories very seriously.

ReplyDeletei have that one and it dose look like a pony! i have a cheat card and i have loads of them and others
ReplyDelete@hurristat It would have been more believable if I had a trustworthy link. But seeing it on Seribii.net i can see it's legit.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if this one will be added to the 3DS Pokedex?
ReplyDeletelol so much butthurt from old pokemon fans, i started with blue as well and i like every generation, they are of course running out of ideas but look at pokemon like rattata, pidgey, spearow, and their evolutions, not very creative are they? haters gonna hate
ReplyDeletealso, keldeo isn't a new pokemon...everyone knew about him when black/white came out
@Xeddrief
ReplyDeleteFair point. Though really, I don't tend to really enjoy Pokemon unless I like their design. So I guess what I was saying above was that I actually very much enjoy Vanilluxe's design. I personally believe Gen 5 is a lot like all of the other generations - mostly good with some derp here and there. There was plenty of derp back in the day, it's just harder to see through the tint of nostalgia spectacles.
I do agree in that I don't care for the show any more, though. But I think I outgrew that somewhere in third generation.
I take my childhood memories pretty seriously too, I guess. Only difference here is that I'm allowing mine to progress. Pokemon design will always be fun, if you ask me, even if the new Pokemon aren't exactly the same as the old.
wonder if they'll write any references into the upcoming pokemon movie (kyurem vs keledo and the musketeers)
ReplyDeleteNintendo of america are crazy enough to do it
Will you all PLEASE stop the Pokemon bashing? Pokemon fans who like the older generations but bash on the newer ones is equivalent to MLP fans who bash on the older generations
ReplyDeleteAlso, Keldeo is my favorite legendary since Sky forme Shaymin
How is something that is two years old, new?
ReplyDeleteAlso, Black and White came out in Japan a month before ponies was aired... sooo. Yeah.
I've knew about this pokemon for a while, BUT I'M STILL WAITING TO LEARN HOW TO GET IT! >:(
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised no one has said anything of Deerling. It's a deer but has that MLP style too.
ReplyDeleteThat's Keldeo. Pretty powerful with an interesting type combination. It can do pretty good in the 5th gen metagame, since water pokemon kinda dominate the field there, but it lacks special attacks. It has 72 base attack and 129 base sp. attack. Still, no match for my team, I could OHKO Keldeo with my Salamence (assuming they are the same level) It's ability, justified, can be very handy though! What to do: Triple Battle, Keldeo in the middle, two Sneasels on the side. Have one of the Sneasels use beat up on Keldeo. It's attack will maximize, since it counts as 6 hits. That means 400% attack, or ±960 attack in lvl. 100. Just let Keldeo use surf and your opponent will have 3 Pokémon knocked out in 1 turn. This trick also works with Cobalion, Virizion and Terrakion.
ReplyDeleteI think I've typed enough!

ReplyDeleteI think I've typed enough!
@Rcforme
ReplyDeletelittle error in your strategy, Justified only increases physical attack, not special attack, so using beat up does not make surf more powerful
@Multiversity
ReplyDeleteYou're forgetting the Battle Frontier.
Actually, Keldio has been around since BEFORE MLP:FiM was even aired. Sorry guys.
ReplyDeleteKeldeo has been around for a while actually.
ReplyDeleteBut his resemblance to G4 ponies is uncanny.
Also new generation hate. lol.
Anyone who thinks the new pokemon are lame and uninspired must have wiped the materpieces known as grimer and voltorb from their brains. Seriously. A pile of sludge and a ball. A pile of sludge and a ball that evolve into a bigger pile of sludge and a bigger ball. FIRST GEN IS STILL BEST GEN AM I RITE?
Whoever submitted this hasn't looked at the Black and White Pokemon list :L
ReplyDeleteHahah, oh wow.
ReplyDeleteThere sure is Slowpoke in this entry.
@Masterge77
ReplyDeleteThat statement would suggest that Pokemon fans have a good reason for bashing.
After the first couple Pokemon titles, I couldn't really get into playing the new ones because you're pretty much playing the same game over and over. Sure, there's more stuff to do/get... But it feels like it's gotten pretty convoluted.
I'm pretty sure the black/white pokemon list existed before MLP:FiM existed.
ReplyDeleteAnd certainly before it was popular.
You're kidding. You're kidding, right? This Pokemon has been out for SO LONG... Actually, it's the reason I became a brony in the first place.
ReplyDelete@CTOONfan1 Oh yeah. Six, then.
ReplyDeleteIt's been already said, anyone who has played Black/White knows about Keldeo.
ReplyDeleteOh and count me in the group who likes all the generations (Scrafty for the WIN!!!). Generation III is my favorite.
Why does everyone like Scrafty so much? It looks cool, but those baggy pants could only be a hindrance in battle.
ReplyDeleteObligatory "Blank flank!"
ReplyDelete@GamemasterTom
ReplyDeleteActually, it's going to be an event that is activated by an item that you receive from an event. In other words, you get an item which lets you find Keldeo.
@AnAwesomeAardvark
ReplyDeleteIt's not an item, Keldeo is an event itself, what you do with him is going to a specific place with all 4 musketeers and Keldeo learns its secret sword move
...*facepalm* This pokemon has been around long before bronies even came into the picture.
ReplyDeleteAnd no- this Pokemon wasn't leaked- it's been around since the release of the official Black/White versions. It's not new or anything- I've had a gameshark'd Keldo for almost a year now.
It was announced a long time ago that it'll be a downloadable/event pokemon, so it's not even really that much of a big news thing.
The only thing that looks slightly like the MLP style here are the legs, and that's not saying a lot. Lots of artist have the style for pony legs.
This art has been up long before the brony fandom, sorry.
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDelete@MasterofRoku
ReplyDeleteSame! :D I love all the gens and play them all, but Gen III is my favorite, closely followed by Gen V. I would say Gen I was my third favorite, but honestly, I'm getting really, really tired of die hard first gen fans bashing the new ones.
the new pokemons are just ugly
ReplyDelete@Multiversity
ReplyDeleteI like the scraggy family because of their punk design (scraggy is kind of adorable), they have interesting typing, and it's got 'Moxie' (it's attack stat goes up after defeating a pokemon) making it a deadly contender.
In real life, I can see what you're saying about the baggy pants...it's probably the reason why it has a slow speed stat.
Not a pony, no sir, but rather a kelpie.
ReplyDelete@kwj
ReplyDelete:V
i notice now the plot shot.but eewww is a mal..no wait, pokemon wiki say it's assesuated...i don't know what to say, it's just weird.
@MasterofRoku Hmm, that'll do it, right enough.
ReplyDeleteAnother thing: I haven't watched the show in the while so I don't know what's going on, but Ash's Scraggy was so annoying. It only knew one move last time I saw it, and it was pitifully weak, and it still kept trying to pick a fight with everything it saw.
This pokemon is called Keldeo. It is a water/fighting type, it's shiny colors are here: http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/e/e0/Spr_5b_647_s.png
ReplyDeleteHope this helps for all of you! If you want more information, go to bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/keldeo
"first gen only" "fans" are not actually fans, they are the exact same dirty little hipsters who buy Hot Topic's pony shirts without actually watching ponies. OMG LOL I'M PIKACHU! CHU CHU CHU, I LIEK MUDKIPZ GUYZ BUT FIRST GEN IS BEST ANYWAI LOLLOLOL AREN'T I CUTE? IV? WHAT? WE'RE NOT IN A HOSPITAL LOL CHU CHU CHU!! js.
ReplyDeletenotsureifwant.jpg and imokwiththis.jpg at the same time...
ReplyDeleteApparently the psychotic-ness of Pokemon fans overpowers the unity of bronies. Shame on you all.
ReplyDeleteBulbagarden admin-type here; I always thought Keldeo looked vaguely MLP-ish, even before I was aware of Gen IV, FiM or any of that stuff. It's probably a coincidence, though. If anything, it's based on a kelpie.
ReplyDelete@LiuXaun Well, Pokémon had about the same effect as MLP when it first came out, and it has, what, a 10, 11-year head start?
ReplyDeleteI play Pokemon for the plot
ReplyDelete@derp Also bulbapedia.
ReplyDeleteErrr new pokemon inplies all new like it was made this day. But this pokemon was made for Pokemon B&W 2 years ago already sooooo.... yeah Seth is over estimating this news lol
ReplyDeleteThe Choice Specs set in the rain 2HKOes Chansey with Hydro Pump even without SR, and it is 100% with it. Can't wait for its release.
ReplyDeleteAs a pokemon fan and a ponysis, I facepalm at this post. The pokemon concepts came out long before my little pony could have had an influence over them. They also originated on different sides of the world.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, I would like to see http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Virizion_(Pok%C3%A9mon) pony-i-fied <.<;;
After reading this article, I shouted "Bollocks!", fell off my chair, grabbed my DS and got Mewtwo from the wi-fi event atm. Thanks for reminding me /)
ReplyDeleteYou know Kerudio has been around since B/W released right? They're just now "officially" announcing him.
ReplyDeleteKeldeo, a Unova legendary Pokemon of the Water/Fighting type. It's based off of d'Artagnan from The Three Musketeers making it the fourth member of the Musketeer trio. The primary animal inspirations for Keldeo come from the kelpie, supernatural water horse, and the unicorn.
ReplyDelete@Seto Sora http://shidus.deviantart.com/art/My-little-ponykemon-Horses-256408698
ReplyDeleteNot sure if this counts. I'll keep looking.
@Seto Sora Okay here's the Virizion you wanted:
ReplyDeletehttp://piniee.deviantart.com/art/My-Little-Virizion-217748366?q=boost%3Apopular%20my%20little%20pony%20pokemon&qo=52
And here's a few more I found. Seriously, search "my little pony pokemon" on DA. It's insane:

I'd seen him before with this pony art:

ReplyDeleteThe whole group!
ReplyDeletetrebulee.deviantart.com/art/My-Little-Musketeers-259119377
Oh Seth.
ReplyDeleteYOU
@Seto Sora I'd like to see Cynthia pony-i-fied lol her fan art is just as bad as Molestia xD
ReplyDeleteI love that Seth felt the need to address Keldeo. But yeah, he's been around longer than FiM has. Nintendo is just now officially revealing him.
ReplyDeleteMakes me wonder, is anyone else here from Smogon?
@Ttar87
ReplyDeleteI am.
Oi vey, lots of disrespect up in here.
ReplyDeleteKeldeo has existed in the games since they released but only now is he official. Seth said he doesn't follow pokemon very closely so it's natural that he would address it now.
Keldeo couldn't be referencing FiM in particular but he could be MLP-based, particularly if you interpret Genesect as being inspired by Transformers. And if not? Happy accident. I think Keldeo would make an awesome secret character for Fighting is Magic.
@Multiversity
ReplyDeleteI always thought that Best Wishes was in a parallel universe xD

ReplyDeleteFff I apologize for how disrespectful I sounded earlier. I second what Azure has said--it's only natural Seth wouldn't have known about Keldeo until just now. xD
ReplyDeleteSorry for my comment! I was irritated because of some stuff that happened at school; no disrespect intended!
@Azure4347994
ReplyDeleteActually I am pretty sure Genesect is based on Dolcruz of ChouSeiShin Gransazer http://bit.ly/zZyyuk not Transformers :P
That's awesome.I was just playing pokemon actually.
ReplyDeleteHeads up players:Do a wifi mystery gift right now to get a free level 70 mewtwo.
Yeah, Keldeo is older than MLP. But I don't blame you for not knowing, you would never know unless you know where to look. BTW, if you want to know more about Keldeo, check out this link:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.serebii.net/pokedex-bw/647.shtml
@Kelleth
ReplyDeleteHuh? Woooaaah.
I just got told. props. d('_'d)
Oh, man these people hating on the newer generations are making me laugh.
ReplyDeleteTerrible looking pokemon have existed since the begging. I played since the first generation. Heck I even bought a new yellow version two weeks ago because I honestly have no idea where my old one is. I cannot deny that there are just as many lame looking pokemon in the old days as there are now.
But then again, this game is called "Pocket Monsters", I don't exactly go into it expecting MONSTERS to be the epitome of great looking and/or super creative.

What is the Pokemons name?
ReplyDeleteLike what everyone else said, Keldeo, Meloletta (sp?) and Genesect were in the game code for years.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm having this OMG IT'S A PONY, IT'S A REFERENCE TO MLP:FiM vibe. Oh no, not everything pony and unicorn reated it a reference to Friendship is Magic. It's like that Diablo 3 thing again. Next you will be saying Robot Unicorn Attack is a reference to MLP. Or even better, Ponyta.
Also, if you hate the newer Pokemon, then what about Jynx? That Pokemon is creepier than any fifth gen Pokemon.
@Dojorkan
ReplyDeleteThis. Fetus Mew (green sprite Mew) and Jynx are creepy first gen Pokemon.
@Braeburn Apple
ReplyDeleteKeldeo
Finally Keldeo gets its official art revealed. Now for Meloetta and Genesect.
ReplyDeleteThe first time I saw this pokemon I thought it looked like a MLP character.But that was before I liked FIM,I don't even think I even knew about FIM at the time.The similarities are just a coincidence.

ReplyDeleteOops! Forgot that! I've got another interesting setup now: Double battle: Flareon and (Droght0 Ninetales. They switch in, sunlight intensifies, fire moves get 1.5X boost. Ninetales uses Ember on Flareon. Flash fire activates, Flareon's fire type moves power up by 1.5 x. Flareon uses Heat Wave, 2 Pokémon down! (Most of the time.)
I'm NEVER able to get these event Pokémon! D:<
