Hooray for more Ponybeat, but, a fade-out ending? I don't why they irk me so, especially since the rest of the song is incredible, but fade-outs kind of feel... cheap.
Yeah Celestia forbid we should fully express our pride in this fandom and, oh my, actually liking what we like instead of what people think we should like. But oh no... We're the ones on a bandwagon.
Pfft. You've got a cohesive argument under that barely readable sentence somewhere?
You know, #3 has an interesting story for me, as I stopped listening to Super PonyBeat because he wasn't really doin' anything interesting. This was way back with a lot of his first season stuff, it was raw, kinda bland, and even though I liked it at first, it was kinda like a pancake. Good at first, but let it sit for a while and it turns into something rather meh.
But NOW, listening to his newer pony music, it's not NEARLY as raw as it was. I'll agree that it reminds me of video games (ESPECIALLY something off a "Sonic: The Hedgehog" game), but that's AWESOME, I can totally listen to it and pretend that I can dance.
All in all, pretty awesome music here overall. 'Specially like the first one, love it when someone mashes two or three songs together and gets something AWESOME.

ReplyDeletePraise me.
ReplyDeleteNumber two- the image has me staring......
ReplyDeleteThe music, of course, is amazing, even for General Mumble. The repeated "I" is quite noticable, however. It doesn't detract from the song, though.
Smile X3- hmm, clever wordplay :3 The way that it's presented with the electronic stuff reminds me of a certain Equestrian Girls :)
@Lord Smooze never.
ReplyDeleteWoot more mumble!
ReplyDeleteDOPE smile remix!
ReplyDelete@Lord Smooze
ReplyDeleteIt's 'hail'.
He's a phony! A BIG, FAT PHONY!
#1 Psycosis took Smile, mashed it with Chris Brown's "Yeah 3x" and N Sync's "Bye Bye Bye", and came out with pure awesome!
ReplyDeleteYay, more sweet Eurobeat. Time to break out the Audiosurf.
ReplyDeleteSent in mumble's song because I didn't see him posted here yet. <3
ReplyDelete#1 Awesome.
ReplyDelete#2 Awesome.
#3 Reminds me of videogames. Awesome.
I don't know... today I'm feeling like stating the obvious.

ReplyDeletePlease, don't feed the parasprites.

ReplyDeleteIndeed.
It's new Super Ponybeat. Who could complain about that?

Okay. Play 1 and 2 at the same time for perhaps the most epic mash-up you will ever experience.
ReplyDeleteThe cover art on #3. I think my heart stopped there for a moment.
ReplyDeleteAlso, @pmcollectorboy Perhaps pre-emptive? I don't like arguments in the comments. I'd enjoy it if you could stop it before it even happens.
Oh that fade-out makes me want to hurl..
ReplyDeleteHa! Don't feed the parasprites is a perfect analogy for starving trolls. I feel a little coltish for not getting that earlier. heheh good one bronies.
ReplyDeleteBuck number 3 pic is just adorable

#1 on the end kinda reminded me of NSYNC XD the "Bye bye bye" XDDD oh gawd.
ReplyDeleteNumber 1 should credit Calvin Harris, not Chris Brown, as Brown basically stole that catchy hook from Harris's song I'm Not Alone.
ReplyDeleteThis remix didn't use any of Brown's lyrics, only that hook, so it's fairer to give credit to the person who wrote the original hook.
This guy, Psychosis. He's a pony musician, and he works with mashups. Pretty sure by default, he's my favorite musician ever.
ReplyDeleteNumber 3 reminds me of sonic somehow...
ReplyDeletePfft. I heard to General Mumble remix when it was new.
ReplyDeleteGoddamned whippersnappers.
Get off my goddamn lawn.
