ReplyDeleteYou mean this Vimeo page https://vimeo.com/user6209357
ReplyDeleteThe newer MLP videos he's uploaded looks a bit dark, but still great to hear 'em nice & clear!
@Sunstone
ReplyDeleteDohohoho.
And I guess we'll see a jump in remix quality now, huh?
Oooohh! High quality sound /)^3^(\
ReplyDeleteFreakin' awsome
ReplyDelete/)
ReplyDeleteOMG, Best day ever!
ReplyDelete:O not first
ReplyDeleteOH! This is fantastic!
ReplyDelete@DashieBro
ReplyDelete(\
Finally no search for good quality songs!
ReplyDelete@Sunstone NO! (just kidding)
ReplyDeleteGood grief, you guys are ddosing him
ReplyDeleteOh yeah! On it!!!
ReplyDelete@hawkfur34 /)*3*(\ so awesome!
ReplyDeleteCool
ReplyDeleteThese are nowhere near HD, and the audio most likely isn't all that better than what we already have.
ReplyDeleteIs he allowed to do that? I know he wrote all the music and everything, but doesn't like the show own them? Unless he has special permission, or the terms of the contract or something. It certainly exciting, the season has had good music. I am sincerely tempted to pick some of these up.
ReplyDeleteit looks good
ReplyDeleteDownload ALL the pony songs!
ReplyDelete@DashieBro No your awesome!
ReplyDeleteHmm, is it possible to download them as MP3 to add to a media player's music playlist?
ReplyDeleteWell, that's rather cool of him.
ReplyDeleteAnd then I needed a Vimeo account to download them... f*yay*k.
ReplyDeleteGlorious! But I need a Vimeo account to download them? :notsureifwant:
ReplyDeleteToo much traffic to the site, it's lagging horribly. =/
ReplyDeleteYay, these are going straight to my ipod
ReplyDeleteQuality seems pretty good, but Vimeo account to download? Eww. Someone download 'em all then RAR 'em and put it on Sendspace, please? :3
ReplyDeleteIf I can get these in stereo... aw man...
ReplyDeleteI'm still not certain how to download anything..?
ReplyDeleteMy eyes were not ready for the quality
ReplyDeleteIt took a while to load the page-I'm afraid we might be DDOSing the poor man.
ReplyDeleteAaaaaand the site's lagging due to all the heavy traffic.
ReplyDelete@DashieBro

WOW! These are so much better than the crummy youtube versions! Thanks Daniel!
ReplyDelete"Not available for download" on Vimeo? Lame.
ReplyDelete@PonyPonyPonyBrony
ReplyDeleteWe really must be more careful with our orbital friendship cannon
Suuuch quality! Daniel, every time I think that you could not get cooler you take awesomeness to a new level!
ReplyDeleteObligatory: These vids are at least 20% Cooler than anything on youtube.
Dat HD... Through the roof.
ReplyDeleteSome of the Vimeo things on his website aren't working for me. I need Vimeo Plus? No thanks. InfinityDash and others on YouTube already provide fine-quality sound for me.
ReplyDeleteHD PONIES!
ReplyDeletethis is not HD at all
ReplyDeleteMan, I just played pretty much every song on there. I have now realized exactly how much time I have spent as a brony, and I regret none of it! All the time from that first song Pinkie sang to Smile has been awesome. This has just made me appreciate it even more than before.
ReplyDeleteNow that's service
ReplyDelete@The Invincible
ReplyDeleteThey're not actually available for download. I'm assuming they're up there so that people can view his work as examples
This is absolutely fantastic! ^.^ Thanks Dan!
ReplyDeleteFind a pet sound amazing on the site!
ReplyDeletePretty sure the only stallion I saw wasn't this was big Mac, and it got me thinking. If roughly 95% of the equestrian population is female, how the heck do they keep the population up? The stallions must be goin crazy over there

ReplyDelete@Sam Richardson
ReplyDeletePfft. Haven't you ever seen Jurassic Park?

Wish I could download these.
ReplyDeletehttps://twitter.com/#!/dannyimusic/status/172155053216501760 - His latest twitter update amuses me ^^.
ReplyDeleteIn b4 both sites crashes due to too many people trying to dwnld Winter Wrap Up.
ReplyDeleteThese arent any better quality that what's already on youtube, not to mention that you CANNOT download them.
ReplyDelete@Luna
ReplyDeleteI will agree that the quality could be better, but you can download the videos. You just need a flash / video ripping program, I usually use downloadhelper and / or FlashGot.
I love the descriptions of what genre the songs are. Some are normal like:
ReplyDelete"Musical Theater"
for various songs like SSCS6K, but then there's
"Pop and Orchestra mix with a dash of musical theatre, for 5 soloists and choir."
(Winter Wrap Up)
"Cheesy 80's with 3 out of tune soloists"
(CMC)
"Orchestral circus craziness for 1 soloist"
(One of Pinkie's gala ramblings)
This. So Much this. I love this.
ReplyDeleteIf you need to download, but don't want Veivo, get Realplayer. There is a free version that lets you get the vids. I just got them myself and the quality of it is fine. You will definitely use it more than once as well.
ReplyDeleteI shamelessly admit that I found the alternate intro to Mona the Vampire far more interesting than any of the pony stuff. I totally forgot about that show; the song he wrote for it was very nice.
ReplyDeleteWait, Vimeo wants me to have an account to download? *pfffft*
ReplyDeleteHello Realplayer Download & Convert Combo! I know I downloaded those for a reason.
ALKDJFKDJ Daniel Ingram for best pony!!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Did they just forget to put up the Hearts and Hooves song or did someone else do it?
ReplyDeleteI wonder if there are still chasing down the possibility of getting these songs onto the Rock Band Network. There's certainly not a shortage of people to do the authoring, they just need Hasbro's permission to get them on there.
ReplyDelete@UL
ReplyDeleteI am disappoint T_T
The iTunes versions are still superior, at least for remixers and people listening with surround systems.
ReplyDeleteThe Vimeo vids sound better than the TV rips on YouTube because they lack the dynamic range compression that gets applied to broadcasts. Not only does the iTunes audio lack compression as well, but it's also split up into full 5.1 surround which really gives it a lot more dimensional punch for listeners who have a compatible sound system - and it's ideal for when you want to isolate a vocal track for remixing purposes.
If you're just listening in stereo, though, the quality of the two is comparable.
The Flim Flam Brother's song is probably my top favorite song, close with becoming popular and smile, smile, smile. Fluttershy's lullaby is my favorite short.
ReplyDeleteListened to May The Best Pet Win there. These songs were for a children's cartoon and they go soo beyond the status quo for that. Seriously, why hasn't this guy won an award or something for these songs?
ReplyDeleteNo song from hearts and hooves :/
ReplyDeleteSmile is forgettable and not the best FiM song.
ReplyDeleteThe two Cutie Mark songs are better.
Hope that AJ will get a song.
Download ALL the pony songs! :D
ReplyDeleteAJ with a country song would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteAn in tune remix of the CMC talent show song, but done seriously would rock too!
ReplyDelete@Ulrik
ReplyDeleteDunno dude, all I hear is praise with the Smile song. It's definitely a top tier song for many and unforgettable.
Hey guys a little help? How do I download it off his website? Because on vimeo it says it's not available for download :/
ReplyDeleteLooks like I might have to start actually listening to the remixes now.
ReplyDelete@richfiles
ReplyDeleteSOOO MUCH THIS! I would love that! I read somewhere that they originally did the song a lot better, but someone on the show said they had to redo it and make it worse. I want to hear the original version...
@Luna
ReplyDeletelol, sure you can. For me, it was as simple as typing in "opera:cache" :)
@Nyerguds
ReplyDeleteasdfasdf I didn't know my opera could do that! I love you forever!
My headphones and speakers are of such terrible quality I do not even notice a difference. So I'll just stick to the Youtube versions for now.
ReplyDeleteDaniel Ingram writes some of the music for Martha Speaks? dafuq.jpg
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one it's asking for a password?
ReplyDeleteAnyone know the password to watch the Video on his site?
ReplyDeleteI'm getting a password lock too :(
