ReplyDelete1) I have to say, I understand the satisfaction that comes from checking something off of your to-do list, so I can relate to young Miss Sparkle. However, someone should tell her it's not the size of your checklist, its... well, honestly I'm not sure what it is. But indeed a ridiculous and fun starter image.
2) A more natural looking Pinkie pony dancing in some kind of golden fire/rainshower? The Drawfriend always delivers such imaginative images.
3) ...Such as Chancellor Puddinghead. With a lightsaber. She was behind the rise of the Empire all along.
4) this is a great image of Spike and Twi, under a bit too much of Celestia's sun. Great expressions and angle.
5) I like the style, and the image subject matter is charming as all hell.
6) Daring Do shots always offer the possibility for such cool lighting.
7) Rose looks great in that outfit, and the city styles make for a fun image.
8) They're taking after Zecora! Although Pip could use a little more training, apparently.
9) Ah, they're Pokemon. Pinkie fits right in.
10) Steampunk GlaDos and Ponies?!? I can't handle how awesome that is. Really nice job on the coloring and lighting as well.

#4 I don't know the backstory behind this image but it's a great little fanart! I love Twilight's expression especially. Poor things, I can empathize as I've never been overfond of hot weather.
#10 I'm not really familiar with the subject matter this is based on, but I do like the artwork. The lighting especially was nicely done, I think.
#11 A very different take on Vinyl from what we normally see in fanworks, but I quite like it. She does seem to me to be the type of artist who might be prone to darker moods at times, for whatever reason, and I think this picture does a nice job of exploring that idea.
#14 Now this is a truly beautiful piece in my opinion... I absolutely adore the loose, flowing and organic feel to this artist's style. Gorgeous colors and shading and I like the interesting angle used... the only thing that looks slightly off is Celestia's eye to me for some reason, but the other attributes more than make up for that.
#15 I really liked the glowy effect this artist added to the Princess' mane and tail, very pretty!
